So much to go on!!! HYYYYYPE!! ;p
-
Lex as the young billionaire entrepreneur, and Alfred as an ex spy bad-ass who needs to remind Batman who he is and kick his ass accordingly when needed... ... Ok, I can see it :p
-
... said Peach when she walked in on Luigi.
-
If that's what Peach looks like, heaven knows about that slut Daisy!... God help Luigi's, is all I can say :p Audio Audio Audio
-
Because @ReZourceman will go and see it that many times? :p

That's not really true at all though. It's just sometimes something can feel out of place and unnecessary, or not in keeping with the character or their world. Mario coming home in a pair of designer Levi dungarees for example :p

So I somewhat got the idea for this thread from watching this episode of The Final Bosman, where he talks about the cleverness of the Bravely Default demo and his love for the MGS2 demo; how he probably spent far more time with that demo than with the final game itself!... But this got me thinking about how much I used to love demo's! I think it's fair to say this love arrived with the Dreamcast for me, and I'm sure many had a similar experience with the PS2. Each month I would get the Official Dreamcast Magazine and of course the best thing about it was that disc full of upcoming gameplay demo's and trailers. And in their own strange way somehow those demo's felt like games themselves. I could put them in and replay them, and spend time with each. And even stranger I hardly ever bought the full game version of these games either, because maybe the game itself wasn't actually that great, or they were largely meant for multiplayer... but with the demo, just for that portion of the game it didn't matter and I still got a great amount of fun from it. Demo's such as... Toy Commander Watching that now I'm not even sure I can remember not even really working out the purpose of the level for ages, and just having fun flying/driving around exploring Red Dog Re-Volt This time I did pick up the full game. But I don't think I ever had as much fun with it as just playing this level. Other great demo's include: Rayman 2 - despite the demo being completely devoid of music I still loved to play through it, not even sure if I got to the end of the level :p Trickstyle - came on the very first Dreamcast demo disc and just featured a training arena for you to ride your hoverboard around in... possibly with a 3 minute time limit or something. And well that's all I would do 4 Wheel Thunder - I loved the CGI intro to this racing game so much, but was never compelled to buy the full game. I would explore the course featured for shortcuts and have fun driving around the arena course/multiplayer map too. Others include Space Channel 5, Fur Fighters... so much good fun stuff on those demo discs! What demo's have you enjoyed to the max?

Completely agree. The worst thing about this situation at the moment is the horizon things just looks so bleak, they're giving existing and potential customers no optimism! We need to hear about what they're working on. Sod waiting for directs/shows, as you can expand on things in them as and when they come. But no one is going to buy a console with no announcements.

Have to say though I hated those denim jeans in Brawl. It was one of many things I disliked the game for compared to Melee... the move towards grittier character designs than bright and vibrant cartoony ones.
-
The fact you can recall those 'off the top of your head' is umm... :p Yeah I know they have examples of turnarounds like that, meaning a couple of E3 announcements will probably make it out by the end of the year (although in the case of last year it was only Super Mario 3D World), but that's not the drought period is it. I think we were already quite confident about the end of the year anyway with Yoshi (which will have very little impact anyway), X, Smash Bros all without release dates, and then E3 announcements on top of that. It's the summer/autumn period that looks bad at the moment as those games should have been announced by now you'd have thought. Of course Nintendo can spring surprises, I just hope they are planning to any day now.
-
Oh I see, yeah hopefully it is a vague statement like that and not something they're aiming for.
-
Did you just miss the post saying it's possibly an end of the year game? Yes, but I pretend that doesn't exist :p That's purely a Tecmo game anyway. I'm talking Nintendo releases, the quality of their games staggered across the year is vital for the Wii U.
-
please understand. Bloody hell, Nintendo hopefully have something planned for June-November!! A surprise at E3 to be released almost immediately? Maybe Yoshi will be one of those games that comes out soon after the next trailer or something. I would have thought X would be their game for the end of the year. A huge N64/Gamecube VC push over the summer would be very welcome/needed.

And you're keeping it to yourself or?

Moved this to General Chat, as whilst General Gaming is the right place for it, it's a charity thing and we have members who might want to back it who don't visit the gaming forums.

I can't see Jesse Eisenberg in the role at all. AT ALL. Especially alongside Cahill. But hey, they'll likely convince me.
-
Umm, no she doesn't... a google will dis-prove that one. Don't know what size you're used to, but they're faaar from tiny.

Every other theme tune was "Ninja's in a half shell" was it?... that's just wrong :p

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut
Retro_Link replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I already did a Pacifist run on the standard edition of the game How I did the final boss... complete it before those crazies arrive :p ... and before the floor becomes electrified it seems!? didn't experience that either unless they've changed it for the Directors Cut? I did think the final boss was really easy, so I'll have to wait and see whether it's changed, or if you need to pick up the pace a bit @Mokong ;p I had a good scout around of Burkes room after I'd taken everyone out, it just seems tough, you're way sounds good. When I fought him this time... As soon as it started I activated my cloak and ran to the open container hiding behind the boxes (waited for batteries to regenerate), reactivated my cloak then exited the way I'd came and jumped up and over the stacked up containers and climbed up the first ladder to Burkes office. Cloaked again and climbed up the second ladder on to his roof passing the guard, dropped through and took him out with a punch... though at first I thought the game had glitched as he wasn't in the room :p or so I thought until I found he had walked around behind me! Then I went back up on to the roof and punched down the heavy guy. However first time I did it landed in view of a sniper, so I had to be sure to do it close to the ladder end, so the container suspended from the ceiling blocked the view. Second time however I punched him straight off the roof... oops! Third time lucky Then I jumped up on the girders running along the ceiling and made my way over to the snipers, took them out, then it was just a case of the two left on the floor. By this time the robot seems to have completely disappeared? does that happen once you take Burke out? Think the turret may have been too, but can't remember. I look forward to the challenge anyway -
Oh, well I'm proud of 'Hero' at least Come ooooon, they're "Hero's in a half shell!!" Yeah that's what I like most about the van. I think Don could have come up with something a little better, but hey that's what sequels are for! ... welll, that and blimps
-
Oh Scarlett!! Give her a movie!
-
Looks ok. I feel it could be bigger/bulkier. Doesn't really feel like you could get 4-6 people in there plus door guns etc...
-
There are Turtle Wagon pics!!??

Kyle Bosman kicked his last episode off looking at the reason behind Nintendo's awful 2013... http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/7j4yfw/the-final-bosman-xbox-friends-with-benefits
