  1. Gah, my game still hasn't fucking arrived. It was meant to be something for me to play until @Eenuh gets back. She'll be back in the UK before the game gets here. Thanks, Obama.
  2. It's a bit unfair on Wenger that he's having to deal with the brunt of this. The players need to be held to account, too. They're not little children; they are millionaire, professional athletes. Arsenal would do well to get someone like Simeone. With where Atletico are in the league, they're not going to win the title anytime soon, especially with how Madrid and Barcelona just keep strengthening their squads. It might be the right move for him and Arsenal. He would at least make them tough to beat. Having Mourinho, Klopp, Conte, Guardiola and Simeone in the same league would just be insane.
  3. United have a tricky run-in. Not looking forward to playing Chelsea at home and then Arsenal and Spurs away (with both of those games in quick succession). It'll be close. Arsenal's run looks interesting, too. City (h) West Ham (h) Palace (a) Boro (a) City (h - FA Cup) Spurs (a) Man Utd (h) Stoke (a) Everton (h) I could see them losing both games to City and not beating Spurs away. Think they'll draw with United at home.
  4. I've had these two songs in my head a fair bit lately:
  5. United's movement today is excellent. Mata looks fantastic and we're making all of the right runs and passes.
  6. I've played this for around 6 more hours today to give this game a fair go and to give a somewhat more informed opinion of it. This game blows. In a way, it's a triumph. How to take an interesting setting (the post-apocalyptic theme) and make an utterly boring game out of it. The characters and story have not grabbed me at all. The combat is weak and too many enemies are complete bullet-sponges. There's a depressing lack of health in too many of these "linear" fights where you have to clear a building or something and the check-point system is annoying. I'm now in an endless loop where I lost loads of health due to these repetitive combat sequences and the game has saved me in a position where I have very little health and supplies and have to take on another one of these rooms filled with enemies. It's been a while since I've felt this way about a game. I'm going to persevere with it, but it's a chore. I'm hoping it develops a personality the further I play.
  7. Yeah, compelling is a good word for this. I'm hoping it gets to a point where it just clicks. I'm tempted to shelve it and play something shorter before Horizon. Might just do that instead.
  8. It hasn't arrived yet. It didn't get here today. I'm playing Fallout atm and am just finding it a bit of a drag to get into.
  9. I'm only a few hours into Fallout. I could easily start again later on. I haven't put 10 or 20 hours into the game.
  10. I'm hoping that Horizon arrives today. I've got a real first world problem, though. Do I carry on with Fallout, or do I play something else (smaller) until Horizon gets here and then continue Fallout another time? Not sure if the two games will clash with each other. Opinions?
  11. Horizon ordered. I am weak.
  12. Horizon is the one that I'm really looking forward to playing next. That'll be my next purchase! There is quite a lot out there, atm. Great time to be a gamer!
  13. I'm trying to move completely away from comparing games to each other because I think it just sets things up for disappointment. The Witcher 3 is my favourite game ever and it'll take a lot to top that. So, I'll happily judge Fallout on its own merits. The game does appear to be cheap in a lot of places. Could be worth going for. I'll let you know after I've played some more.
  14. @Eenuh got me this for Christmas and I've just started playing it. Granted, I'm very early into the game, but for some reason I haven't got a huge urge to want to play it. It's probably down to tiredness as I was knackered yesterday when I sat down with it, but I haven't really connected with it yet. Gonna try a bit more later on tonight and see how it goes from there.
  15. City are struggling against Monaco. Currently 5-5 on aggregate there.
  16. I voted to remain and I would still vote the same if there were to be a second referendum. The whole thing has been a farce and has shown off the UK in an exceptionally poor light. The whole campaign was dominated by the Tories and UKIP and I thought Labour were tragically poor during the build-up to the vote. We STILL don't know what Brexit is...so how could the public possibly be able to vote in such a matter, especially when there were and are too many variables, e.g. staying in the single market. It's not just a binary choice because what one person interprets as Brexit could be vastly different from somebody else's definition. The gist of it is that I think there has been a lot of "blagging" and "winging it" since the result. There's no real plan and it's just been a mess that is causing lots of uncertainty. The more worrying thing for me is that Labour have essentially self-destructed since the referendum and it looks like we'll be stuck with a Conservative government for a long, long time with no viable opposition. That's dangerous, imo. A different topic, for sure, but one that has traces back to the referendum.
  17. 1-0 Chelsea. Classic closing down and tackling by Pogba there...
  18. Either way, it looked like a stupid tackle to try and make when you're on a yellow card. It's careless and it's going to cost the team. I knew as soon as he got a yellow so early into the game that we were in trouble. Our best chance is to just try and nick a goal from a set piece if we can. I fully expect Chelsea to score.
  19. Heheheh....*laughs nervously* Herrera sent off. Stupid foul for the second yellow and can't have any complaints. The more I see of the first yellow, the more I'm not sure about it. I thought it was a yellow at first but now I really just think Hazard merely ran into him. Nowt we can do about it now, though. Not sure how we can score, especially with Mkhi off the pitch. No real obvious goal threat from any of our current players.
  20. I've not been looking forward to this game tonight. I fear Chelsea could do us 3 or 4-nil.
  21. You can try your best! It's actually a very solid game. It's pretty simple, yet addictive. It's like ultimate frisbee and tennis had a baby! I hope that they continue adding to this game as it could become something really special. It's a good game that could become a great game if treated right. It needs its own tangible offline mode with some things to do when you're not playing online. Maybe the option to create tournaments with other players spectating and more customisable settings and options for the multiplayer.
  22. I would love for this to happen! I got the chance to play a few FF games here and there but haven't played anything from VI onwards. Would day one this!
  23. It had a sort of Kiefer Sutherland charm to it for me, so I loved it. What's the rough play-time for this game? Are there many sidequests or can the whole thing be wrapped up in under 20 hours, for example?
  24. I'm a bit worried that I'll have a similar opinion to you when I get around to playing this. I'm not really interested in the whole tribal theme and robot-dinosaur things don't excite me. But, I hear the combat is great and that graphically it's a stunner. Who knows, eh? Basically, we just want The Witcher 4 and we won't be happy until we get it! (It'll never happen now, booooo!) I've got Fallout 4 to start. I'm half tempted to go with that and then get Horizon a bit later in the year when it's cheaper.
  25. Hahahahaha. Post of the week. I do prefer to get games digitally. In this case, as it's only a singleplayer game, it's one of those types of games that I doubt I'll go back to once I finish. I can live with this being digital or physical.
