Right, so...seeing as it's Christmas - I'm going to properly enjoy my games. I've made myself a hot cuppa tea. I've put the fire on. Ine has buggered off to bed, and now I'm going to sit down, with my tea, with the fire and play some Super Mario Galaxy. During the week, I'm going to play through Twilight Princess again. It's my Christmas game.

Well done! Congratulations. ReZ, I'm going to echo the advice given to you by others and say that you need to keep all of this stuff documented. The dates they told you not to inform clients, letters, emails. Everything. Keep all of this stuff, because it could become very important if you blow the whistle later, or it could be important if somebody manages to do it before you do.

Ahh, what a contrast. Kinda, hehe. I'm generally not all that fussed about ska, and I couldn't listen to it all the time. But, special brew was pretty good. I prefered it a lot more than Rock Star. There were some bits of the song I liked, mainly the very beginning and the very end parts. At 20 seconds when she starts screaming, it just put me off the song. My vote goes to Bad Manners.

I've quoted this because I have yet more National Expressings to speak of. Newport to London again, this time for my journey to meet the Ine. A little more expensive, 38 quid this, time. But still...2 journeys from Newport to London for less than 70 quid. That's pretty good going. I've planned my first ticket (the cheaper one) to take me to London. I now need to sort out my journey from London Victoria to Brighton (return) to see my friends there. And then London again to Erith, to see one friend there. I'll have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at home, before seeing Ine on Boxing Day (what this ticket was for). I was worried that I'd be spending a huuuuuuuge amount of money on train tickets, but the National Express has saved me quite a bit so far.

What a shame. So early into his career. Poor guy, feel really sorry for him.

I was sat at home today, and my Mum decides "ooh, there's a good film on the Sci-Fi Channel that we must watch." Terror Peak Without a doubt, one of the worst films I have ever seen. It's just so poor in almost every aspect. Now, this one is for Paj and Chair...it stars Lynda Carter. I was a fan of Wonder Woman when I was a kid and still watch the odd episode whenever it's on tv. But, my God, some of the lines she was given were hideously awful, and to make matters worse she was over-acting every single one of them. Her mouth was open reeeeally really wide and each word was over pronounced and emphasised. But, she wasn't the most annoying thing by the movie. In fact, she was probably one of the least bad things about it. The actual footage of the Volcano was "spliced" footage taken from a documentary or something and then blatantly inserted into the film. The script was just so, so bad. Even my Mum was laughing, and I hate films where they just make the characters do "dumb" things or make stupid decisions. This one scene, for some reason the ground starts to shake and the rocks start falling, so instead of running down the mountain/hill, they run into a cave. That's not so bad. Except, the rocks then seal the entrance. At no point do the characters (one is a pretty strong looking boy) make an attempt to move the rocks and try to escape. Theeeen, the Father of one of the people trapped (he's on the outside of the cave) finds where the people are. And, instead of asking them to wait whilst they remove the rocks or get a rescue team, asks them to go deeper into a Cave. As you can imagine, stupid and insane things are found within the cave, ledges start to slip, they have a dozen near death misses... The decisions I can forgive, because it makes for viewing. But, the dialogue, the over-acting, and constant screams by this one girl. "AHHHH, a rock." "AHHHH, lava." "Ahhhh, there's the rescue helicopter." I wanted to throw her into the volcano myself. 1/10. The one is for Lynda Carter. It's not even one of these "so bad it's funny" movies. It's bad in almost every aspect.

!! Is that the same website where you can buy hugely oversized bars of chocolates, or Cadbury's Creme Eggs? I heard of it but never found it where you could get that stuff from.
-
I ain't getting dragged into that again. I was never a fan of Diddy Kong Racing. Never liked it. Nightwolf, I hear you. I want Mr. Christmas to give me a proper job. Serious giftsss.

Hardest games you've played

... We'll beat you to the title anyway! That...kinda counts. Up until last year, your arses were ours. -
That's an incredibly thoughtful gift. Making your own gifts is always a great idea, because you'll know that it's a one of a kind, that no one else has that same particular thing.

Hardest games you've played

That's pretty much it. It doesn't feel like you can "trick" your way through. You have to actually improve massively. I've hit a wall where I just can't get any better haha. I'll play again soon and hopefully I'll crack this nut. I would have prefered if it was a little bit easier, because right now it's a bit too tough for me. But, the feeling you must get when you finally master it must be worth it. So, I'll stick with it and keep plugging away. A brilliant game though. See, I don't think that's a bad thing at all. In fact, I'd class that as a good thing. The game has given you a set of bitter rivals, and they'll do anything to put you off from winning the race. I don't mind that. It's a bit like "Liverpool upping their game when they visit Man United" so to speak. They up their game to beat them. -
Oh..in that case, it was all intended. You must be tough, taking on Oxy in a debate. My fingers hurt from typing.

Of course, I joke! Thanks for being a good sport, Mollymon.
-
In a way, Molly is the representation of all women. Women are a challenge. You thought walking into Mordor was tough!
-
I'm fiiiiine. Well, we just haven't found a male would is awesome enough to take on The Mollymon. In time, maybe a contender will rise, but for now, we wait. A few potential suitors have come and gone. OxyWaste...that's all I can remember. None have lived up to the task. But one shall prevail.
-
Screw you! Why? What the fuuuuuck did I doooo wrooooong?!
-
There is still time! I just want...everyone to be happy. Hahahaha. Happy sexy forum.
-
There's obviously sexual tension between Molly and OxyWaste. All this "Its not about Chrrrristttmassss, its about materialism and posssesssions" stuff is boolshit. Christmas sex is the best sex of the year. Everyone wants a piece.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me all that much. That's me being me, though. I like being able to buy something nice for someone I care a lot about and seeing them happy. For example, last year I got Ine (as a joke gift) some blowing bubbles, because I thought it would be a fun little gift and she could be a little silly with it. She used them with her dog, heh. The fact is that there are many things which people take a lot of joy from. We're on a Nintendo/gaming forum, so it's safe to assume that many of us get joy from gaming. Many of us get joy from listening to music, or seeing particular films, or something else. Why is it so wrong to buy somebody a gift that you think they will like? If you know it will make them happy, then why so bad? Yeah, it can be a little too much indulgance, if you're just getting gifts because "it is simply there." But, if you would genuinally get some joy or use from something, then I don't think it's all that bad. Take Molly's watch for example. My Mum bought me a watch for my birthday in January, because my old watch was a bit wrecked, broken and old. So, she bought a nice one for me because she thought I would find it useful. When I'm working, I use it. It was her birthday last week, and I bought her a particular CD that she wanted, and she's been listening to that everyday in the kitchen.

There's millions of people giving and receiving presents, too. I think you're getting yourself a bit too worked up over the meaning of Christmas. That's why I posted that in my last post, because if we're all going to be picky, then technically everyone should be going to Midnight Mass, etc. You said that Christmas is about spending time with your family. That's your meaning of Christmas. Thinking about the presents, do people give gifts to randomers everywhere? Nah. It's family and friends. I consider my friends to be family to me, but an extended and different kind of family. Whether you give them yourself, giving them your time and attention or giving them gifts, then what's the harm? You're still "giving" something to the other person, whether it's your love, your time, your attention, or a gift. The gift is just a representation of that, at least I think so anyway. That's my interpretation of it.
-
If we're being really picky, the actual answer is that Christmas is a Christian celebration to celebrate the birth of Baby Jeeeeeeesus. Geez us.

This isn't about me, but a friend told me this Golden story a few years back. He's an old school friend, and he was getting jiggy with a female. To his delight, she asked him if he fancied a blow job (I hate that term, but there's no nice way of saying it.) Him being him, he was delighted. So, stripped off to his boxers, layed down on the bed and began to think of beautiful things. The next thing he knows, she's physically blowing onto his penis...Having air blown onto such a sensitive thing, he jumped up and just put his clothes back on. I think it gave him one hell of a shock. Don't think he saw her again after that. I was in stitches when he told me this.

That's probably the best post you've ever made. Spot on, pretty much what I was thinking. It's not a "rebellion" against Sony Music Entertainment as such, but a rebellion against X-Factor claiming the Christmas Number One spot. The past four years has seen an X-Factor Winner/Contestant then go on to become Christmas Number One. It's the expected thing now. It shouldn't be that way, I think that's what is getting up people's noses a little.

That's a good point, JonSt. In Capello's defence, Heskey makes up for his lack of goal scoring by bringing others into play. Owen doesn't really offer that. If Owen doesn't score goals or lacks sharpness, it would be more similar to Defoe not scoring goals than Heskey. Owen and Defoe are the ones the wingers and midfielders look for in the box, they're that serious goal threat. I don't think they're as good as holding up the ball as someone like Heskey or Cole. Mr. Bent seems to be the forgotten man, though. And, Peter Crouch.

I don't bluddy know. I think that's twice I've done that now, with you and DannyBOY/Gary. "I think this pen is red" "Well, I Think that it's red." "So, we agree." "FINE. Whatever. I'm bored now, leave me alone." My typical argument, haha.
