  1. Oooo! I've thought of another thing. Christmas Musicings. Being able to have Band Aid (orignaleeee) on repeat without feeling silly. Do theeeeey know its Christmasssss time at allllll? *hums*
  2. I love walking around the town/city when all the lights are up, it always looks pretty. Christmas shopping with people can be so fun. I've got an amazing memory of buying the Wii at Gamestation during its midnight launch, then walking back through the Brighton Lanes with all the lights up. So pretty and beautiful. Another thing is when you're sitting down at night, all comfy and warm with a good film on, and roast chicken sandwiches. Haha. Last Christmas with Ine was great, even though technically it took place after Christmas. Having a lovely meal, then opening up our presents with candles all around the room. I'm a big fan of darkness with little candles or lights around the room or place.
  3. That's the most colourful photo of two men I have ever seen. I don't think there's a single colour not worn there, haha.
  4. Cheers. Although, I've been warned against doing it behind the neck, since you'll be putting unneccessary stress on the shoulders or could cause injury to your neck. Quite a lot of people manage to do them that way and have no complaints, but then just generally browsing the web many seem to warn against doing that. I'll experiment a bit more, but I just generally find the grip where its a bit narrower (not on the angled parts) a bit more natural a movement.
  5. Today was my last day at my local gym, and the session went quite ok, I think. I do actually feel a bit stronger every time I go now, and I'm finding my rhythm again. I'm really enjoying my back workout days, and maybe I'll be able to get that broad back/christmas tree look eventually, hehe. A question for the gyms who use the lateral pulldown machine: Where do you tend to position your hands? I've seen guys position their hands quite narrow on the bar, or on the angled bit right on the end of the bar, or actually that part where the angle meets the rest of the bar. For me, I try to keep them about shoulder width away, but I do occassionally mix it in by positioning them on the angled parts. The little demonstration cartoon next to the machine suggests they should be shoulder width apart, so that's what I go for.
  6. Today has been a bit crap. First of all, hardly any work has been coming in because it's all last minute stuff, and due to my difficulty with transport I wasn't offered the work. Then, I got a phone call off my agency at the end of the day about my job application (which I'm still doing, as the deadline isn't for over a week) for a school I've been regularly visiting. My agency saw that the job had come up last week and talked to the school directly about it. The headteacher likes me, and she likes me going to that school, but for this particular job she is looking for someone with a bit more experience. So, I don't know whether or not I should bother with the application or not. I guess you have to be in it to win it, but it's pretty crap doing another application knowing that you won't be getting the job. My feedback from the schools has been very good, including that school and including another school which is a bit more difficult to work in. Pretty gutted as I thought I could be in with a shout this time. Then, today was the last day at my local gym before it closes after tonight. I had an ok session, but I already felt a bit disheartened by that job news, so that tainted it slightly.
  7. :'( I thought we had something special. And sexy. My Christmas shopping has began. Wohoo. Jim 1 Christmas...Zerooooo.
  8. It's funny you mention that, because there's an old Art College that they have here in Newport with a funky type of Dome at the top of it. I've always thought the building looks like it needs a minaret next to it or something, haha. They're knocking it down anyway, and building flats. But, for years (before I knew it was an Art College) I thought it was part of a Mosque.
  9. What is this "junk" you speak of? A hidden genital? The women here are indeed hot. I highly recommend the women of N-E. *thumbs up*
  10. I agree with this, dude. I agree with this dude! If I had a Wii and the only thing I wanted to play on it was Wii Sports, I would be a bit gutted. But, there is so much, much more on the system than Wii Sports. The gems are truely hidden, but they are there.
  11. The car would be a really great idea, haha. It takes around 20 mins to walk to the train station each day, then up to an hour actually on the trains and wait times, then a little walk from the train station to work on the other side. Plus, if I'm going to the gym too, then...that's around 3 hours + a day that is wasted on travel to gym and work. I only actually need a third of that time in the car. o_O So, I could do with one, but can't afford eet, haha. Do they have a car park at that gym? How far is it from the gym to where you park the car?
  12. Good Work, Falcccccoooon PUNNNNCH! So, in the end, I have joined Bannatynes. Went for a little look at it the other day, and it's quite similar to the gym I have been going to in some ways, and in respects it is better. I also like the fact that there's a pool there. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk there, and it is just over a tenner a month more than what I was paying for the other one. But, seeing as that is closing and seeing as the other one requires you to be 8 feet tall, taking steroids by the hour and benching houses to fit in there, I think I'll be enjoying this one a bit more.
  13. Ahh, that would be what I suspected then. Cheers for clearing that up. Also, I thought Portsmouth were really unlucky not to get anything from that game yesterday. I thought Kuzczack (can never spell it right) was brilliant yesterday, and was probably unlucky not to finish with a clean sheet. Some of the penalties in that game were really soft, mind! I thought the first two penalties (the first for United and the one for Pompey) were very soft. I don't even think the fans or players appealed, haha. The last one was correct, imo, but the other ones were a bit unlucky to give away. Good luck for the rest of the season, as I want you to stay up. Did anyone see Bullard's celebration against Man City yesterday? Hahahaha. I thought Everton were unlucky not to get something against Liverpool today. Liverpool weren't in the game for long periods of time, and I think Everton just lacked that cutting edge to take charge. Maybe they should have started with two strikers from the beginning, but you can't fault their effort. Finally, watched the Arsenal/Chelsea game. Is there some sort of law which we don't know about where Arsenal are not actually allowed to shoot whilst inside the box? What is the average height for the Arsenal team? Probably not the smartest idea to place so many high balls into the box when they're coming up against players as tall as Terry or Carvalho. Eduardo just infuriated me all game, and if I were Wenger, I'd probably be keeping an eye open for a striker in January.
  14. DA REACTOR MAKES AIRRRR! GIVE THIISS PEOPLE AIR!

SEE YOU AT DE PARTY, RICHTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!

  15. I now know why you cry...

But it is something I can never do.

    :'(

  16. I feel for you guys. I heard about this on Gilette Soccer Saturday and then remembered that Red_Shift was a Barnsley fan. So, what exactly will happen now? The game will get replayed in full? Will it still be at the same ground? And also, what happens with the money paid for travel and stuff, does that get refunded or not?
  17. I'm pretty sure I've seen Okami for a tenner in various places online? Unless my bastard eyes have been deceiving me again. I haven't got a problem with them mixing in Wii Ware games with the other ones. In fact, isn't that a huge compliment to the Wii Ware games? Saying that they deserve to be placed amongst other titles you could buy in the shops? If I was a developer of one of those games, I would feel pretty damn proud. Maybe they could just put in brackets (Wii Ware) so that you know which ones are Wii Ware and which are retail. It's not entirely neccessary, but it might be helpful.
  18. This is true. Maybe he assimilated you, Agent Smith style. The ol' Hand into de chest move.
  19. Call off the search. We've found Jayseven's double account.
  20. My whole existence is flawed... You bring me closerrrr to Godddddd! To me, it feels like the Wii still has another gear it could go to. I don't think Nintendo have pushed themselves too hard this generation, and I still feel that there are a good few years left in this machine. However, it really depends what they have in store next generation. The games just seem to be getting better and better, and I think there's a good amount of quality games on the system. Saying that, it still feels to me as if we're still waiting for something in particular. It could be Zelda Wii, or the new Metroid, or something else. There is a lot more that could be done this generation. It just seems a bit too calm at the moment, hehe.
  21. Thanks for that Joey and Chandler. I need to buy some stuffs for Ine, and I have an idea of what I'm buying...but I need to go out and actually do eet. Two of the gifts will be difficult for me to get, hmm. Not even sure if I can get one of them, haha. As for myself, there's not a lot that I need. Last year for my birthday (or year before) my friends commented on how awkward it was that my birthday occurs in January. So, I'd go home for Christmas, and do a little spot of shopping before going back to uni. Anything I really wanted or needed, I'd get it then. So, they were thinking of getting me Guitar Hero 3, but I got that myself just before Christmas. Then, treated myself to new spray, which they were also thinking of getting me. It happened with one or two other things, too. I didn't know any of this at the time, because it was all done in secreeeeet. Eenoo got some great things for me last year. I think I did pretty well, too. We don't really do presents at home, and my Mum's birthday is next week so I need to get stuff for her then.
  22. Bluddy hell, that is huge! I've still got those little "booklets" that you received with Gamecube games stuck on my wall. Those fold-out things that would advertise upcoming games, heh. Basically, I haven't touched anything on my walls for quite some time...I think I need new posters and stuff. As for this game, it is still taking me forever to get through. For some reason, this and Re4 just seem to be played at a slower pace. Need energy for games.
  23. Aw, Raining. You should spend the rest of your evening or whenever you have some free time next doing something fun to cheer you up. Also, put on some cheery music and dance around your room, which will knacker you out and you will fall asleep happily. Then, good dreams will come from this. I think.
  24. That's what I'm expecting, too. Actually, the "no-combat" part of the game made me really look forward to that fear of going into the next room. Knowing that whatever was there, you just had to run and couldn't fight back. Well, we'll see. Hopefully we won't be disappointed.
  25. Flight, eh? That's pretty cool. Link is the ultimate one man task force. Travelling on Land (Spirit Tracks, also with Epona), Sea (King of Red Lioooons) and Air. (don't suppose those flight sections in Twilight Princess count?)
