  1. There's a few nice little bits throughout the album, a good riff here and there. But, I don't think there's any songs that I have listened to and thought "shit, that's awesome!" The first time I ever heard "Turn into" I knew they had created a great song. Black Tongue and Y Control were two other songs where I thought "that's the ticket." I'm listening to Dull life off the new album, and that's pretty good. As an album though, it doesn't seem very YeahYeahYeah-ish. Maybe it's a grower.
  2. Their new album isn't as great as their past ones, imo. In fact, I don't think it's even in the same league. That's such a great sound. There just doesn't seem to be the same kind of energy. Bring back that rawness!
  3. Whaaaaaaat? They're a brilliant band. The singer oozes awesomeness, man. I would give my left arm to see them. Hell, I'd even throw Gizmo's left arm in for frees.
  4. He's a living prick. Fellow United fans, what do you make of the Llajic news? Excellent article on the news. I thought he was already a United player, and then this happens. Imo, that article has it spot on, and it has to be down to financial reasons.
  5. When I saw No More Heroes was listed, I thought "ehhh? I wouldn't have placed that in the Top Ten." But, the "blood" version really does make a huge difference. Watching that video makes me somewhat gutted. Like Retro says, the directional kills seem to have much more impact in that version. I enjoyed that video. Haha, BloodRayne. I was interested in the first game but never played it.
  6. That Gate song is a bit alright, isn't it? Not bad, but there can only be one winner. Kate Bush. I love this song.
  7. I can't stand Florence's voice and it's one of those things that I just don't seem to "get" whereas others tend to love it. Like Family Guy. I mean, I get it, but it just get my testicles quaking. That Muse song is pretty arse, too. That doesn't do anything for me either. It doesn't concern me which song goes through, so I'll vote for Muse. Probably for the same reason as Dan Likes Trees. Florence will win, though.
  8. I can sorta see how you hate the guy, haha. But, he's not even comparable with Maradona. Macheda's was teenage magic. It's funny, because I said to my mate a week before that game "ooo, Macheda's scored a hat-trick in the reserves!" I've got a hatred for Maradona anyway, really don't like the guy.
  9. So, you hate Macheda but not Maradona? Macheda didn't cheat.
  10. Aye, I definitely make sure I get some rest days during the week, for my sanity more than anything. That's...really bluddy nasty about your Mum. Sorry, Raining. 3 spin classes a day?! o_O
  11. It's still 7 days of continuous exercise, mind. Even football can take a lot out of you. I think maybe cutting that cardio day on the Sunday wouldn't be such a bad idea? Since you're getting some great exercise through football anyway twice a week.
  12. Cheers for the help, fellas. It was very much appreciated and very helpful. Thanks. I've done a little browsing on the interwebs for you to try and find you an informative answer: http://www.ironmagazine.com/viewarticle-4000.html "The best advice on how often to train with weights is to skip the day after lifting for a particular muscle group. For example, if you lift for your upper body one day, you should not train it on the following day. But if you want to lift for your upper body one day and then the lower body the next day, that’s fine. So long as your muscle groups are getting about forty-eight hours of rest in between workouts, this will allow your body to build muscle." The rest periods are important, as that's when your body starts to build eetself and makes you into a killing machine, FALCON KICK. I think the Saturday, Sunday and Monday routines were fine. Did you go Tuesday? I don't think you did after re-reading your post, so I think you'd probably be fine with doing the shoulders on Wednesdays. I try to alternate very much like you do. The only thing I would say is that you should have a rest day in there somewhere, where you're not exercising. Also, it stops you from getting over-tired, as that's quite a lot of exercise you're doing there.
  13. The defending for that third goal was bluddy awful. Bellamy did really well, but you'd have banked on the two defenders winning the ball there.
  14. Aye, that's one other piece of advice that I've seen, which makes good sense. Apart from the extra energy loss, would it be harmful to my workout in any way? I doubt it would be, but I like to make sure. That's pretty much what I wanted to know. Wouldn't it depend on the intensity of the exercise though? So, if I was to have a light swim after a workout, would it still be quite harmful? The only reason I ask is down to time management, because the gym is a little further away than the one I used to go to, meaning I may not be able to get to it on certain days after work, and such.
  15. In fairness, City probably should be on top, given that they've got a full strength side out there. I think Arsenal have done well so far. That Bellamy chance should have been tucked away... as I say that, Tevez scores a great goal.
  16. I am trying to get into shape, but also trying to bulk up (although not to Arnold Schwarzeneggar proportions). It's about keeping in good shape and fit, so I don't want to do what I've seen a fair few people do and lift heavy weights but have a huge gut to boot. I think you're right when you say to not do it all the time. I think maybe swimming two times a week would be enough?
  17. It's quite a good game, Ramar. Although, I think City have been on top for larger periods of it, but it could go either way really. Maybe extra time? I thought the game against Spurs yesterday was strange. They seemed to have control throughout the first half, then two good pieces of play by United, and Spurs are two-nil down. In the second half, I thought Anderson and Gibson did well to close out the game, and Carrick helped to secure the midfield when he came on. Two great goals for Gibson, which will help his confidence, no doubt. Spurs had some really, really great chances, though. So surprised they didn't score yesterday. Also, Blackburn are one-nil up against Chelsea.
  18. Ok, you're forgiven. Hehe. It is pretty damn expensive, haha. It's all relative though, and I don't know all that much about the standard of living in Eygpt when compared to the UK. I doubt you would be complaining about paying that price if you lived here, though. Ok, ladies and gentlemen, I'm in need of some advice, but it's possible that nobody knows the answer, or even if there is a correct one. My new gym has a pool and I went there for a little while after my weightlifting session. I wasn't trying to beat any world records, so it wasn't at a blistering pace and I was knackered after my workout. My question is, is it a good idea to swim after weightlifting? I've been researching around the net to try and find a definitive answer, and opinion seems to be divided. Some suggest that swimming will be good for stretching those muscles, and others suggest that swimming will waste all the work you've just done in your workout. I think as long as you don't overdo it, then it's not doing any harm?
  19. I think I share most of my thoughts with Eevil here. I just didn't find this video or the other one funny, it seems very awkward and it's a bit too quiet for my liking. Also, that DVD section, bluddy awful. The first part of it was fine, but the reconstruction just ruined it for me. I think you're not quite sure what type of comedy you want this to be, because I didn't think the reconstruction fitted in well with the first part of the joke. It's a bit like merging South Park (that vulgar comedy) with something like Black Books. It didn't work for me. It's very scripted, so when you're telling those one liners, it's all too slow. It would roll off the tongue a bit more if it wasn't scripted, I think, and maybe it would be funnier. I dunno. They're not hugely funny jokes to begin with.
  20. Haha, well played. If they really have negative thoughts about the console owners, then surely they should be working twice as hard to gain recognition? I don't know the total number of Wii's sold, but the install base is pretty damn big. There's a lot of consumers in there and they all have different needs. Many want quality shooters. But, releasing the game and finding it on the bottom shelf at Gamestation isn't good enough. Too many times have I walked past the Wii section and thought "Huh, didn't know that was out..." It reminds me of Nintendo's own effort with Wario World for the Gamecube. They must have hired the SAS to sneak into the shop of every game store or retailer in the country and place this in their stock.
  21. There's a number of factors that need to be taken into account there, however. I'm not sure what the marketing was like for World at War, but the campaign for Modern Warfare hasn't been great, at all. It's all well and good companies complaining that their stuff isn't selling, but if they're not actually advertising the games, then it isn't going to achieve its potential. How often do you still see adverts for WiiFit or Mario Kart? And they still sell well consistently after launch. Granted, they're first party games and very important. But, it's a bit of a slap in the face seeing so many Modern Warfare 1 and 2 ads for the 360 and PS3 and then not hearing a peep when the Wii version rolls around. To me, it just seems as if they have no faith in the games selling on the Wii in the first place, so they put as little effort as possible, particularly when it comes to raising awareness for their products. So many third parties are guilty of this.
  22. I know that, woman! It's the Freak of Arabs who gets 3 months worth for 33 quid.
  23. What about the people who buy COD on the Wii? Doesn't that destroy your logic? It's a bit unfair to rule out Wii owners from buying these games.
  24. Triceps make up a significant portion of your arms, so I try and pay quite a bit of attention to them. First off, nice and simple, you have the Dips: Tricep Dips A very lovely exercise which I get a great deal of satisfaction from. Secondly, you have Tricep Barbell/Dumbell extensions: Extensions You can perform this either with a barbell or with dumbells. I love it and it really hits the spot for me. Thirdly, you have Seated Tricep Extensions: Seated Extensions Quite similar to the dumbell extensions. A little variation for you. Lastly, Tricep pulldowns: "Attach a bar to an overhead pulley. Stand in front of the pulley with your feet shoulder width apart. Grab the bar with a narrow overhand grip. Bend your arms fully and tuck your elbows close to your sides at all times during the exercise. Moving just your forearms push the bar down in an arc motion until your arms are straight. Hold this position and squeeze your triceps for a second to maximize the peak contraction. Slowly lower to the starting position. Repeat." So, they're some great exercises that I like to use. Also, when bench pressing (either with dumbells or barbells) and doing pushups, you'll be using your triceps. These are the quick ones I've thought of, but I know there are quite a few more out there. I would be thrilled to pay that price for a gym membership, and I think the only way you would get a price like that is if you have some kind of discount, or something. I'm not sure about the Blackberry stuff because I know very little about that. Maybe some Universities would offer a free gym service, but I think most would just offer a low rate at certain times. During my first year, I could visit a local health club which was next to my halls of residence for £2 at a time, but only on certain times. You also had to pay a fee upfront in order to take advantage of this offer. The catch usually is that you can only use it at certain times, which kinda takes the shine off it for me.
  25. You go to University in an entirely different country, though. Granted, it may seem expensive to you, but I think paying just under 20 quid a month is not bad at all. If I read your post right, you would have to be very, very lucky to pay £33 for three months for a gym membership. 11 quid a month for the gym? Yes bluddy please. I doubt there's anyone else here who pays close to that.
