  1. I've been away for days, because I was visiting friends in Brighton and in London. Had a great time, and tonight I went out for a little Christmas drink or two with my Newport friends. I've spent a lot of money in the last week, though. Probably around 150-180 quid on Christmas presents for Ine and my friend, getting things such as tube tickets, paying for food when we went out, and stuff. A bit annoyed with myself for spending that money, but then I had a good time, too. I've got some money in my account still, so it's not like I'm broke. But...I wanted to pay off this damn overdraft.
  2. I'm glad you're feeling better now. I think you summed it up when you said that you had a huge weight lifted off your shoulders once you got rid of them. I don't feel like you can properly move on if you have that sort of stuff still around, if it's been a bad experience. If it was a good experience, then I can still see why you'd keep that stuff, but I think it still makes it hard to move on if you constantly look at that stuff or think about the past a lot.
  3. I did think about that, but chose Gooner instead. Both are Arsenal references, but I thought Gooner was a little more obvious so stood out more, maybe? Hehe. I charge for Anal, but as it's Christmas, you can go free. Wohoo. Hope it's been a good one. (Birthday I mean, not anal - although I hope that's good too if you had some).
  4. I've been away and busy the last few days, so didn't watch much telly, didn't listen to the radio and had lack of Internets. So, to come home and see that Rage actually made it Number One for Christmas is great. I heard someone say that it was the most competitive Christmas Number One Battle in years, and it has been a great one. I had a little chat with my Mum yesterday about it, and she loves the X-Factor, but even she agreed that it's unfair for the X-Factor winner to then win the christmas number one each year almost un-challenged. It was a monopoly. Hopefully this will open the door next year for some good battles for the number one spot. If it makes the winner less predictable and it makes the competition actually a competition, then good. I'm just chuffed Rage did it. Great song, great band, and a great set of guys.
  5. Crappy title, but I'm wearing a towel. So, YOU come up with a better one. Happy Birthday to Ramar, or Mr. Arsenal as I like to think of him. He's 22, which is a sexy age to be. And, also a Happy Birthday to Retro_Link. He's getting on a bit now, at the age of 25, but his underscore_Link in his name makes up for his lack of youth. Did I mention that he's old? I joke. You're young. Foreeeever young, I waanna beee...Foreeeever Young Also, Happy Birthday to FlamingFejjery. He was the dude on C-E with the Holly Valance pictures. Those were happy times.
  6. D'oh, I forgot about The Muppets Christmas Carol. Also, Paj, great shout with Batman Returns. I pretty much watch these films every Christmas, and love them.
  7. About the keeping old messages and texts and stuff from your previous boyfriends/girlfriends: It can be nice as a little reminder of the fun times you had in the past. But, ultimately, it's you clinging onto "them" (as in the person). The whole point of them being "an ex" is that they are no longer your other half. When I broke up with my last girlfriend, we had a very awkward situation. There were a few months that went past where we were together unofficially, and it was a bit uncertain for many months whether we would be back together properly or not. In the end, when I moved out of our place and into my new house, I deleted all our messages and tore up the few photos that we had together. I didn't need her anymore, and these photos and messages would make me angry thinking about the past and some of the things that she had done. That doesn't mean you should all go on some mass photo burning or message deletion marathon. But, I think there's more to it than not being bothered to delete the messages, or something. It's because you can't let go of that person. Which...is a bit bad for your own sanity. I think it depends on the situation, the timing and the person. There's some girls where you have to play the waiting game before you tell them you like them, because you're not sure what their reply will be. But, with some, you just have to plunge in head first and hope for the best, haha.
  8. I've had all sorts of dreams. Sex dreams (wohoo), Dying Dreams (nooo) and dreams where many pointless things happen. I had one dream not too long back where I was being chased by the Police into an underground train station. They were chasing me because I had committed some sort of crime, I think I had actually killed someone in my dream. So, I was running, terrified. Then, I remember getting to the underground station, seeing no people around...but also seeing no exits. So, the police caught up with me, and this one officer fired a shotgun to my face. Thus, killing me. I didn't like that dream very much. There's been a few others as well, where I was driving a car at night, then having someone drive right into the side of me. My dream then switched to third person, with the car rolling, then setting on fire.
  9. I've been away for most of the week, and I didn't get a chance to watch that game against Fulham. Didn't even see highlights. But, 3-0, fucking hell. From what I've heard, it wasn't a great performance. In all honesty, I'm surprised we lasted up until then. Yeah, we lost the game against Villa (only by a single goal though, it wasn't a drumming) but we hadn't been shipping 3 or 4 goals a game until then. There's not a lot we could have done differently about the personel playing in defence: two midfielders and a young lad with very little first team experience. We had a weakness, and Fulham exploited that weakness. We also lost the same fixture 2-0 last year, and they did very well last season in the league, are doing well this season in Europe, too. We should have defended better, but I'm so proud with how Fletcher and Carrick have been doing in these unfamilliar roles, I don't think it would be right to crucify them. There's rumours that Fergie will be attempting to bring in some more defensive cover in January. But, imo, by then the problems should be coming to an end. I don't think it's likely that we'll have defensive problems this bad again. It's all come at once, but I think bringing in someone in a month's time will be too late and just un-needed by then. The players who are injured will hopefully be coming back by then anyway, bar maybe Ferdinand.
  10. This Christmas has been so amazing. I caught the National Express from Newport to London, and I just had my face stuck to the window for most of the journey. Firstly, there were little patches of snow, but it gradually seemed to get thicker and more frequent the further south we travelled. We got into London, and then I caught my next coach to Brighton. I actually asked the Driver to let me off early, before I got to Preston Park. The whole park was covered in snow. Thick snow. ACTUAL snow! I walked through it, carrying my heavy bag, with a huge smile of my face. I took two pictures, which I'll post later when I upload them. There were some lads also playing football in the snow, haha. I wanted to join in.
  11. Yesss! It will be our Christmas tradition. Along with the lasagna we made last year. My favourite Christmas films are: Home Alone One and Two Jingle All The Way (Fuck yeah) ELF! Die Hard (the first two in particular) Love Actually and possibly Notting Hill. There's so many more, though. But these are a start. I love Love Actually. Probably one of my secret favourite films.
  12. I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! x x x

  13. Losing momentum is rubbish. I think the pattern with me is 6 weeks worth of gym, then a week off where I go to see Ine, then it takes me another week to get back into it when I return. Because of term-dates with school and stuff, it means we roughly see each other every 6 weeks. So, it feels a little bit stop start. I do notice a difference with the way that I look. Particularly with my back and chest. I'm lifting/pulling bigger, so it's all going in the right direction. I saw some friends the other week and they noticed I looked a lot bigger, and one of them called me a beef-cake. I hope I'm not one of them.
  14. Haha, I think it would just piss girls off. And, I don't think many guys are "good" enough to get away with eet. You'd have to be Brad Pitt or someone to be that smooth.
  15. Oh, I will do those for you. But, it won't be helping my save file.
  16. So, have ye all been exercising? I'm doing a bit of Christmas Journeying tomorrow for five days, and then a few days later I'm off to Belgiumland. I went to the gym yesterday, and the next time I can probably go again is on Christmas Eve. My arms and back are knackered, heh. I love the feeling of "shit, I worked hard yesterday and now I want to sleep" the day after, haha.
  17. Hmm, I've never been any good at this "playing eet cool" stuff. (In the past, not anymore cos now Ine ees mine) Basically, I would just treat every message as normal. Whenever I get a message, I reply to it pretty much when I see it. It's always been the same with girls, whether I was interested in them or not. That's the way I do things though, and you have to find a way to do things yourself. I couldn't put on an act when I'm with a girl, like leaving a message for a few hours or stuff, because it's not natural for me to do that. I've got a different way of looking at things though. To me, if I did that, it would seem like I was messing the girl about. I prefer to just play things straight and simple. It's worked well for me. The one thing I can say though is that being decisive is important. Be strong in your decisions, and be confident. If you decide not to text her back for a few hours, then do eet, and then be confident in your decision. It's important, in many ways.
  18. That's brilliant. I love the way that he just sang "I won't do what you tell me" quietly, until it gradually built up again, and then he shouted it out. They're idiots for thinking Rage would tone it down. Maybe they should have asked for an acoustic rendition of it, with bagpipes. Maybe that's sweet enough for their early morning listeners.
  19. You know, that is the best idea I have ever heard. Alex Kidd rocked when I was a kid. Haha.
  20. I was in the kitchen about to make myself a drink, and my brother comes in shouting It's snooooowwwwiiiing. I went outside, and there indeed was snow. But, it was the most pathetic snow you've ever seen. There were maybe 3 drops of snow, and then five minutes later it stopped. Why couldn't it be the other way around. Where it stops for 5 minutes and then carries on for the rest of the day? Maybe in some sort of parallel universe maybe. And I just sneezed all over my monitor. This is a sad day.
  21. Last night's session was interrupted by my brother bringing me home some fried chicken. On the one hand, I love chicken. On the other, I wish he could have arrived maybe an hour or so later. Still, I'd earned myself 2 stars before he arrived, so that's good. And tomorrow, I'll be going off to London and Brighton for 5 days, so I won't get a chance to play this. When I get back, I'm leaving again 2 days later. So...I've got tonight and two days worth of Galaxy Lovin' until January. Just when I'm at the peak of my enjoyment with eet.
  22. Haha, unlucky. I think I'm going to put this on now and play for a bit. I'm really determined to get all these stars.
  23. No, man. It was brilliant. There's no other word for eet. I can tell you sang with real heart and fire in your belleh. I wish I could sing as well as you, Mr. Iun. Ramar: I listened to it again. The whole way through, just for that bit at the end. Hahah.
  24. I'm probably wrong, but I think I actually found the secret star for that one before I actually found the star I was meant to be working on. Haha. Just checked, I think I have got it right.
  25. I stopped listening to it when the music finished the first time, so I didn't hear Flameboy's little cock-up at the end. Hahahaha. That's pure brilliance. DudeDazz...are you sure you're not black?
