Molly, are you presenting series one of "People Who Look Like Their Avatars"? ViPeR thought it, too.

Some have also been sold on for good money. Valencia and Palacios probably being the two biggest from Wigan. Palacios and Figuroa are both Honduran, and Valencia is from Ecuador, so he seems to like players from that Central/South American park of the world. (hope my Geography hasn't failed here). He must have some very good scouts or a good team or structure in place. Valencia has been fantastic for us this season, and he was excellent at Wigan. Edit: Also forget to mention Hugo Rodallega. Another good buy.

It's all down to international duty, and when he returns to the UK from it. Basically, he gets some swelling in his knee that flares up when returning from abroad. I think the presumption is that it's down to flying, so Sir Alex is looking into ways of making alternative travel arrangements. It's severely limited his starts and appearances for us this season, and he hasn't really looked as sharp as he could be, imo. He's a little favourite though, always giving his effort and determination. Villa were great yesterday. Very complete. They had Dunne and Friedal at the back, who are both mountains. Young in midfield who I thought was great, and Agbonlahor is such a threat up front. The problem I think is down to consistency for them, which is what I think will hinder both them and Spurs when it comes to breaking the top 4. If Villa played like that every week, they would secure the top 4 position, in my opinion. Just watched that Liverpool and Arsenal game. I thought Liverpool looked great in the first half, but the second they looked so, so different. They are so fragile. After that own goal, I think the players just stopped believing they could win the game and you can't let your head drop again a team like Arsenal, because they will punish you for it. I thought Song was outstanding for them, today. My man of the match. Charlie: Figueroa is class. Excellent signing by Steve Bruce when he was at Wigan. What a goal, haha.

I'm not sure if I knew that already and forgot (probably) or if this is fresh news. Thank Fuck for that. Blood version it is. May as well play the game as nature intended.
-
What is happening with number 2? Is Europe getting the blood version, too? As for the last bit, I don't think I would be able to do that. Hmm. *thinks*

Right, I've had a bit of free time, so I've decided to play some more of this beautiful game. I'm up to 51 stars at the moment, wohoo. Just did the 100 purple coin thing, so I'm now able to flyyyyy. Bluddy hell, I feel like a kid again. This is a great game. I think I've found my favourite galaxy as well...The Matter Splatter Galaxy. Especially that last bit where the platform to the Star is covered. The level is such a mindfuck. I think now that I've got a bit of free time, I'm enjoying it a lot more than I first did, which was bucketloads anyway. Also, if Mr. Christmas is listening, I want a bee suit. Hahaha. Edit: I'm not joking...but I'm reading posts on here and it seems like parts of my post are being covered, and then uncovered, like the Matter Splatter Galaxy. Hahaha. I think it's time to put this game down now.
-
That was awful. But yeah, I pretty much agree with both of you. Like I said in my earliest post, I didn't think the game deserved to be listed. But after seeing that blood version again...it sucks to be European.
-
I agree with that. I really want to play the blood version of the game. The kills just seemed a bit bland without the blood, and I don't think I put as much effort into it as the game went on. It was a case of "clear the room, move on" rather than "I wanna make this sucker paaaaay." Yeah, that's bad, right? Heh, the cutscenes though...I might have to youtube the cut scenes avec blood, just to see what they were meant to be like.

Hmm, this is tough for me to choose my top 3. The problem is that I enjoyed Majora's Mask so much, but in a different way to Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask built on so many aspects that Ocarina introduced, so I enjoyed Majora's Mask so very much because of my love for Ocarina...if that makes sense. If I hadn't played Ocarina before playing Majora's Mask, then I don't think I'd have the same sense of enjoyment I did. I loved seeing the Zoras and the Gorons again, and seeing the characters from Hyrule in this Parallel Universe of Termina. Ocarina was such a huge high point for me. I spent so many hours on that, and I really knew nothing about the game before I picked it up and bought it. I had played some of A Link To The Past beforehand, but I wasn't officially hooked on the Zelda Drug until Ocarina came about. There's just so many beautiful moments, so many memorable scenes and so many occassions where I felt a sense of awe for what I was playing and experiencing. Many people love Wind Waker, but I think I found playing Twilight Princess a bit more enjoyable. For some reason, I experienced many of the same things that I did when I played Ocarina, that sense of awe and wonderment. Wind Waker is a truely beautiful game and I had an excellent time playing, but there's just something about Twilight Princess that I loved. It was a special game for me, probably a lot more for me than it was for others. Now, the dilema is that I managed to play A Link To The Past again after Ocarina of Time and got into it a lot more. I think more of it is down to my age. I wasn't old enough or mature enough to properly enjoy ALTTP when I played it the first time around, so this time the experience was so much better. I enjoyed the game so much, too. I found it pretty damn challenging, and I also found Link's Awakening very challenging, both great games. 1. Ocarina of Time. 2. Majora's Mask. That part is easy. The next part is so hard. It's really between A Link To The Past and Twilight Princess. I don't think I've played through the games again (rerun) to properly say which one I think is the better game. But, from what I've played: 3. A Link To The Past. What an utter masterpiece. I'm going to have to play this again pretty soon, because it's been a few years since I have. But, what a game. (4th would have to be Twilight Princess, and 5th would be Wind Waker). I haven't managed to get hold of the Oracle games yet, or Zelda 2. I've got Phantom Hourglass from Ine in my room ready to play but I keep finding other stuff to do, so I've been putting it off. Minish Cap I also need to track down. I've really neglected playing Zelda on a handheld, haha.

I don't think I've posted in here yet, so haven't shared my views. The music from Tiberian Sun is probably some of my favourite from any game I've ever played. Mutants Audio Scouting Audio Lone Trooper - my Favourite Audio Dusk Hour Audio Oh god, listening to this makes me want to crush some NOD skulls.

I haven't heard that song in years. Today, I have bought two things: Seeing as I'm National Express mad, I've bought a ticket from London to Brighton, for 18 quid. So, now I just need to find out how to get from London to Erith. Not only that, but I've also bought a second Christmas Present for Ine. There is another present that I'm getting her, there's one I'm not sure about, then there's a choice between 3 gifts (I'm getting one out of the 3) but I don't know which one. Hmmm. Decisions.

Raining, did you just talk about car sex? Haha, she can try! I don't mind really. If it's famous guys, then I tend to have a look and judge anyway, haha.

Yes, let us judge your males! That goes for all females. Allll of you. Raining, is he also Irish? I think that adds to the hotness. He's not an Australian or something living in Ireland? Because that would also earn him hot points, potentially.

As I said to Ine, I think he's hot in a Geeky ICT Teacher kinda way. Something about him looks quite cool. Like you could imagine him wearing a suit with converse, that type of cool.

Well done, Villan. I wanted to post about the game, but I already had the last post here, so I thought I'd look like a tart if I posted. Anyway, you did well. So, well done. As for us, well, I knew we'd play 4-5-1/4-3-3, but I don't particularly like it when we do. Especially at home. We had Owen scoring 3 goals last week, Berbatov looking good this season and back from injury, and yet we still started with one striker. Rooney was pretty poor, getting booked for diving (I hate it when he even attempts to dive. Just don't do it, Wayne). Another thing, and I think I speak for all United fans when I say this: He should never ever be allowed to stand infront of the ball when it comes to taking free-kicks. Or corners. His delivery is pretty poor, he never beats the first man, he always hits the wall...just stay in the box and put the chances away. You are a striker. This is what you do. At half time, I lightened up when I saw Owen coming on, but we took Giggs off instead of Park. Then, we took Park off...and bought Berbatov on. Why not Obertan? Berbatov only ever looks like scoring if the service into him is good. So, we just relied on Valencia, or Evra who was both left winger and left back to provide the service. The last sub was used on Gibson. We just played too narrowly, when we should have used Obertan out wide to provide some service into the strikers. We could have played 5 strikers, but if you can't get the service to them then it's just ineffective. Villa defended very, very well and they worked very hard to make it a frustrating game for us. They forced us to play narrow. Our best moments came when Valencia got behind his marker but we just couldn't get the ball into the net. If we had someone on the left who could do the same, I think we would've had more of a chance to get a goal.

I've never heard of the Fuck Life thing before. But yeah, it's pretty much all down to Platty I think, maybe a few others, too. Also, I've been called "Fierce" or "Fiercey" a few times, or Linky, haha. So, there's a few. Haha, you'll have to ask Platty about that. It does seem a lot funner to say than EFF ELLLL.
-
I think a few did use F_L in the past. Definitely before Platty started calling me Flink and Flinkington, which have both stuck since then.

I had a rubbish night for sleeping. Went to bed at about 3 after playing some Mario Galaxy, and just couldn't sleep. So, ended up watching some Wife Swap rubbish on telly. Then, I woke up at 6, coughing really hard. Couldn't sleep after that until about 8:30. When I did get to sleep, two people texted me at two different times. So, phone went off, read the message, went to sleep. Phone went off again, read the message, then couldn't sleep. What a suck.

That's pretty much it. It's a 2D Mario on a home console. Who in their right minds wouldn't want that? To be honest, we're blessed. 2 Mario games, one 2D, one 3D, both rated very highly by critics and gamers alike. Yeah, Nintendo probably could have replaced the second duplicate character with another character. I don't know the "plot" of New Super Mario Bros Wii because I haven't got it yet, but isn't Mario once again rescuing Peach from the castle? If that's the case...I don't think it would have made much sense for Nintendo to include Peach as the fourth playable character. She's the one being saved, not the one saving the one who needs to be saved. But, it's not even an important aspect. It's a desireable. In that respect, I think Nintendo should be paying more attention to these finer aspects of their games, but that is down to the insanely high pedestal that we all place them on. We expect very highly for them. They're not always going to get it right. There are a million different times or occassions where I've played a Nintendo game and thought "aww wow, that's sweet" when looking at one particular detail or aspect.
-
Hahahahah, that is exactly what I have been seeing when somebody posts that. Oh god, I'm still laughing. That's a great spot.

Chairdriver, if you love Rambo III, then you most definitely need to check out the others. I think three is regarded as being the least awesomest out of the lot. The first film is great, but I think it's great in a different way to 2, 3 and the newest one. If you love the anti-war message, then I think you'll particularly enjoy the first film. I love it.

Thank you, Mon Frere. Work or Uni does mean that time is lost with games. The thing is, when I have spare time, I feel guilty about playing games because I probably should be doing something else, heh. So, I've not played anywhere near as much as I should be playing. I also feel bad when I buy games now, because of my current job situation, too. I've got money coming in, but it's in drips and drabs, so I'm just saving it all up. If somebody gave me 300+ quid, and asked me to go buy some games, my Wii collection would be doubled probably. Punchout!!, Grand Slam Tennis, Little King's Story, Muramasa and New Super Mario Bros are all so high on my list.
-
Yaaaay, I got myself a win. Checked my bank account just now and I've been paid 200+ quid from work, which actually means that I was less than 80 quid away from achieving my goal before Christmas, which was to wipe out half of my overdraft. I want to clear it by March, meaning that I can then start actually saving up money for myself and it means I won't feel so guilty when I use the money. Saying that, I really buy naff all for myself, so I don't feel overly guilty anyway. But, the money has come out for some of those train tickets, meaning I'm further away from my target than I wanted to be. This week has sucked work-wise: I've had no work whatsoever, meaning I've been sat down waiting for the work to come in, which it hasn't...been so bored. So, to cut it short: I've had no work this week. I just got paid for outstanding work, which is excellent, but some of that money has gone towards Christmas expenses, which is not so good. I hate money.
