  1. I'm trying something slightly different to help with weight loss/toning. I came home from work a few days ago to an empty house, and spotted my housemate's weighted hula hoop on the living room sofa. I thought "fuck yeah, I want a go" so gave it a try. An hour later and I'm in the garden gyrating and thrusting my hips to keep the thing up. Its really fun. Got two massive bruises though on my sides. I really felt it working though, and I expect that I burned off quite a lot of energy whilst I was doing it.
  2. I found it hard to get into. There were some nice ideas, but I don't think the whole game was executed in the right way. Maybe it was before its time.
  3. Today was awesome. I'm only in half day on Friday, but I got the keys for the music room and played on the drum kit for about 3 hours. I miss my kit. :'(
  4. Fuck Yeah, Squash! I love it. It's one of the things that me and Ine/Ine and I do together. We're probably at about the same level, so the games are competitive and very fun. We play for an hour usually, with a tiny rest in the middle (for having water and wiping away our sweat). It's a great game/sport. Really fun. Each game seems epic.
  5. Hey, dude. Cheers for the reply.

I downloaded the demos for Guitar Pro and Power Tab. I've used Power Tab before, I think. Maybe for drum tabs, though. Unfortunately, the demo for Guitar Pro 6 wouldn't let me import tabs, so couldn't use that. And, there's only a few Power Tabs for the song I'm looking for.

It's a pain really, because the song is not originally an acoustic. And, the version I posted is a really early version of the song, taken from a long time ago, and it does differ in how its played compared to the other live versions. At least I think it does anyway. So, I'm at a bit of a loss really.

    Cheers for your help, dude.

  6. Hey Guitar God, I'm trying to learn a particular song at the moment and am having a hard time identifying what chords/bits are being played in this solo. Its an acoustic.

The part I'm stuck on is from 1:46 to 2:30. Any help you could give me would be great. Its those starting chords up until 2:15 that are confusing me the most.

    Thanks dude.

  7. Ah, been away from this thread for too long. Looking forward to the Champions League games! Hope we batter Chelsea. I've also been playing some Spurs vs. Real Madrid games on Fifa, to get in the mood, haha. The game yesterday was so tense. Gary Cahill is immense for Bolton. He was everywhere yesterday. A 1-0 is the right score, because United did enough to win the game, and the score-line reflects the closeness of the game. As for the sending off, no complaints. Jonny Evans has been pretty bad this season, and he just got the tackle so wrong yesterday. The guy quickly needs this season to end so he can come back stronger next year. I'm a fan of his, but he's not played great this year. Match of the Day did pick up on something interesting though, that both players were going for the ball in an identical fashion (both studs showing, both had feet off the ground). So, maybe Jonny can count himself unlucky, but I still think it was red. We were dominated by them in the Final, but have beaten them over two legs (the year before). As for Chelsea, well...yeah, the referee did rob you in that second leg, but Chelsea scored early and then sat back for the majority of the game. It may not have been a total domination, but they did pin you back in both legs.
  8. I won't hear a bad word said against Carroll. Especially after his magnificent performance in The Karate Kid III.
  9. Anyone seen this? http://www.twitvid.com/AHCJ1 Brilliant.
  10. Changes are good if there is a point to them. What is the point of this?
  11. So sad to hear that Bryan Robson has throat cancer. I was devastated to hear that earlier. Get well soon, Robbo.
  12. Hahahahahahaha. Oh god, I'm crying here. That rapping bit is quality. Arghafarghanararghafarnarghnarghfargahnarghnarghgafarr
  13. That is so fucking terrible. Yet poetic. We're all dancing in the sky His eyes are great cos... ... ... (wait for it) ... ...they are brown. "You have great eyes. They are brown."
  14. Van Der Sar is so bluddy cool. The guy never panics, and that stops the back four from panicking. Schmeichel was a great shot-stopper and commander, but Van Der Sar is a great keeper in a different way. He's very reliable. Ramar's post is correct. Don't forget we also have Lindergaard. Also, Buffon is being rumoured at, as well. As for tonight: Chicharito is God-like. Very hard not to like the boy. 16 goals this season already, wow.
  15. Off topic but...thaaaank yoooou. I've had this song in my head for ages, years even, with the lyrics, but I couldn't actually remember what the words were, so I made up my own. I heard the first 10 seconds and knew this was it. My life is complete. Thank you! FRIDAAAAY! Aaaahahaha. I love this thread, some brilliant posts in here. The gifs at the top of page 2 are brilliant.
  16. That really is beautiful. Sound is under-rated in videogames. This is the credits music from Other M. Sounds like it was taken right from the ending of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Fucking beautiful. Audio and also this one, again from Other M. The alternative title music. Audio
  17. Let's be honest, dude. You can get to a million in haaaalf the time if you just post that sex tape that they're all after. Congrats. I agree, those comments (the negative ones) were disgraceful. I'm talking Thierry Henry Handball disgraceful.
  18. Because you've been scouring the internet looking for Mokong's Secret Sex Tape. That is not so secret after he made a thread for it.
  19. I thought the game yesterday was a good one. The twins looked brilliant, maybe they should be tried in midfield more often! I did fear for that midfield at first, especially central midfield. But, overall I think we did enough. Arsenal had a lot of chances. Van Der Sar won us that game. And yeah, I agree Ramar, Paul Scholes probably did escape getting sent off (both of the incidents were worth two yellows). City, eh? Should be a good one. After United, I'd like Bolton to win it. They're good to watch and I don't really like the other two teams. Especially not City.
  20. Pancake, those two bits you posted about Fusion and REmake are two of my favourites, as well! I'm not going to include Wii games as it's too recent and perhaps not retro, but here are some of mine: Eternal Darkness Favourite game ever. Maximillian Roivas goes crazy. The part as well where the city of Ehn'gha is destroyed is another favourite section. Also, Pillars of Flesh! F Zero GX The speed, the look and the mindfuck of this level makes it memorable. As well as this: We will never get a better racer than this on any console. Resident Evil: Zero The whole train section was amazing, especially the ending where you had to make it from one side to the other in a short time limit. Fucking frantic. Metroid Prime I found this fucking hard at the time, but so, so wonderful when I did it. Streets of Rage The elevator level is one of my all time favourite bits of any game. Music kicked arse, gorgeous scenary and you knew it was coming to the end of the game. Super Mario Bros 3 This one is about just seeing the World Maps. I love being able to see the outline and thinking wow, there's a lot to see here/do. I don't think I've played a better Mario game since. 2D is where its at. Super Metroid I keep watching this clip over and over on youtube. The music is outstanding. Metroid Fusion Nightmaaaaaaare. Perfect Dark Two levels here. First: - Chicago. So stunning, as with the music. - Attack Ship. A perfect game. :'( F Zero X SILENCE. A straight track...just simple pure, fun, adreline-fueled racing. Hold me!
  21. Well, surely when you're contract is up, the company can in theory do whatever they want, since they technically don't employ you anymore? I don't think they're under any obligation to do anything. That's just what I think though, it may not be the whole truth. I hope I'm massively wrong. That doesn't sound like a good situation to be in, Fish. Is there any chance in you getting your contract renewed by his superior, maybe?
  22. It's important to get variation but yet having balance at the same time. I'm eating quite a lot of meat at the moment, due to gymming it up and just needing the energy. Like you Jay, I'm trying to spend 20-30 quid and making that last for a fortnight if I can. I went for a food shop last Monday and I've predicted I probably won't need to go until Saturday, which is good. Although, due to things like meat having sell-by dates, I find that I'm usually eating all my meat first, and then having stuff like pasta towards the end of the week. So, I guess it can be a bit monotonous. Last week I had Spanish Chicken and rice for two days, then spaghetti bolognese for two days with mincemeat, then chicken and stuff for the rest of the week. Also, when I open jars of sauce, I'm quite eager to finish the rest of the jar the next day, which means cooking the same meal again. Otherwise I'm worried the contents of the jar will go off.
  23. I know you're an Arsenal fan and it must be a bit painful to see your local rivals in the Champions League whilst you've been knocked out, but still, why shouldn't it be the highlight of their season? They've done well to get to where they are. They're not a seasoned Champions League team. Last season, they could only dream of going to the San Siro twice and getting out of the group stages. How many predicted them to make it this far? Whether they get knocked out or not in the next round, or whether they make it into the competition next season, they've shown that they've got what it takes to be here and play against the big teams. You have to respect them for that. Whether tonight's game was a great one or not, they're through to the next round and that's all that they'll care about right now. As for Crouch, he's great when the ball is at his feet, but I agree, I can't remember such a tall player being so useless in the air. The guy can't jump. He shouldn't fucking need to jump!
  24. A 2008-esque game would be great. That was a special game. It'll be tight, I imagine. That's what she said!
  25. With football, the players are lucky because there's always another game to focus on. Arsenal are still fighting for the League and in the FA Cup as well. So, it's not the end of the world. No shame losing to Barcelona... I do hope we batter you, though. Only for the C-C-C-Combo Breaker. Losing against Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal in a row wouldn't do the team's confidence much good. Should make for an interesting game. Two teams who recently suffered demoralising defeats, out with something to prove.
