  1. I've got quite a few. - think it's the right one. Quite a few Gremlins t-shirts. A few Muppets tees. Two Ghostbuster t-shirts, one with Slimer (from the cartoon) and one with the symbol/logo from 2. Got a green Mario Bros t-shirt with a 1-up mushroom on the front. I've got compliments from the majority of these, including being asked by strangers where I bought the t-shirts from. Importantly, I don't feel that these look out of place on me. They fit really well in both size and personality. Sometimes I wear these to work if it's an own clothes day and some people will get the reference, or they'll just think it's a nice t-shirt.
  2. Same as Iun, going into a store and physically receiving a box, or getting the package in the post is something that is important to me. Plus, with downloads, you lose out on seeing physical things such as boxarts. Take the cover for Moon for example. It's iconic now. Although there is one area that I actually prefer having things downloadable...paperwork or my documents for work. They're easier to organise, easier to transfer from place to place, easier to maintain and edit. Makes my life a lot easier.
  3. I figured you must've been joking. :p That's where the governing bodies need to sort it out. Cyclists shouldn't have to resort to doping or cheating to win. It damages the reputation for the sport. Lance Armstrong has damaged the sport significantly.
  4. No way. That sends out the wrong message to competitors, that the only way in which they compete is to dope. That's not what sport is about. It should always be about human endeavour.
  5. They're not very common at all here. I've looked into it and it seems to be something that is used a great deal in other European countries, but they're almost unheard of here. In what way?
  6. No problems, dude. I was half tempted not to accept the request because I wasn't sure if you'd have time or not. Real pain in the arse getting onto Xpert. Glad to see that my transfer went through ok. Even managed to somehow sell one of my players. 3 gone now, 4 coming in, all youth. Wouldn't be surprised if we were relegation candidates this season. But, so be it. It'll hurt for a while but it'll benefit us long term. Especially that defence. It's a mess but now I have 3 players with huge potential all under the age of 20. Amadeus looks decent already. Tempted to buy another midfielder. Another youth. Otherwise I'll have 5 in there, which is one too short, imo.
  7. Well, yes and no. Depending on how you look at it. It's good to see a cheat exposed. But, at the same time, this guy was a hero to many, an inspiration. It's sad that these allegations turned out to be truthful.
  8. Amazing. Last few league results for Southampton. Chelsea 2-2 Southampton Aston Villa 0-1 Southampton Southampton 1-1 Arsenal Stoke 3-3 Southampton Southampton 0-1 Sunderland Southampton 1-0 Reading Out of all those, the only blemish is the loss at home to Sunderland. All of the rest are decent or good results. The last 3 are excellent. Decent league position, team starting to play well, climbing up the table. Stupid sacking. Also, gutted Fletcher is going to miss the rest of the season. Hope he's back strong for the next one.
  9. Very true. Sad that this is how his career will be remembered. A completely unforgivable thing to do. Not only cheating for him to win, but also cheating fellow pros and robbing them of their chance to win something.
  10. I've set my tactics for you. Couldn't even get onto Xpert until around half hour ago. Was it down for everyone? I'm playing for teamwork values today. Got my yoofs out.
  11. I swear to God, if I ever get to meet the prick who Ine rang this morning to let them know how difficult it was to get in, I will smack him in the mouth. Awful even attempting to get to our work-places this morning. We have to deal with two big hills in order to get to her place, the cars just weren't having it this morning. We were sliding about all over the place. Only got up halfway on the second one before deciding it wasn't worth it and headed back. I rang up my work, told them that it had taken me a whole hour to get to that hill and back, which on a normal day is only 5 minutes away. They were amazing about it. Only 8 kids actually turned up today. More staff than kids. Headteacher should really have told everyone not to even bother coming in as it was far too dangerous. Ine rang up her work, only to have that prick tell her that "oh, you were at that hill, it's only a 20 minute walk from there." Idiot. Cars were sliding all over the place and could very easily slide onto the pavement and hurt someone. We counted at least 2 cars in front of us who did either hit or go onto the kerb. Even we almost mounted it. So, his solution was for Ine to "walk into town and get the bus." Walking about 25 minutes in the opposite direction of her workplace, in order to get the bus to attempt pretty much the same thing we did. Got a text from her at around 11:20 telling me she was almost there. We left the house at half 7 this morning for her to start work at 8:30. The drive on a regular day is about 15 minutes. Sometimes it's just not even worth going in, you'd think a little common sense would prevail. Also, she's not actually working either, it's training.
  12. Do want. Hope it comes out on the WiiU at some point. Shouldn't really be wrote off.
  13. You joking, brah? Bring it the fuck on! Xpert is down. How am I supposed to set my devastating tactics and lineups for the decimation of Zell? Also, I have players that I placed bids on...
  14. Anyone want a friendly on Friday? I'm rebuilding my squad. Two players have been sold, about 3 have been brought in. All youth. Bidding on another and may go for one more after this. We are going to struggle for the next few seasons, but after that, we will be looking good. My defence is a mess and I need to build it up like I did the midfield. Everything is getting reworked, which means in about 6 or so seasons time, we should be able to compete with the big boys.
  15. Thanks baaaaaabe!

  16. That's my philosophy, too! You remind me of Dragooooo when we were young. One day, you will be close to Dragooooo as they are now, but not quite as good, as we will always be better.

  17. Haha, no, I'm full of cake and Indian. I can't fucking walk right now!
  18. When he's on form like he was tonight, he looks like he can go on forever. We need to get to that point where he's not relied on, but can come on as a sub or something to add a different dimension. I'm always worried when I see him in the starting lineup, especially in a two man midfield. West Ham just let Anderson and Giggs have all the space in that midfield tonight.
  19. You could always ask for them to lend you Andy Johnson. No? How about Bobby Zamora? Oh. Giggs was the shit tonight. Best player on the pitch by far. Made everyone else look like schoolboys.
  20. Awesome awards, Magnus. You just nominated yourself to do this EVERY SINGLE YEAR from now on. Also, how the fudge did I win most attractive male? So many better looking men. Namely Rummy.
  21. Awesome birthday thread! Thank you everyone. Love that, especially the attention to detail with "goal instincts". If a player doesn't have that, they're not worth having. Shut up, cunt. :p Had a looovely day. Was fantastic. Got into school and one of my friends had bought me a firework/candle...thing that is shaped like a flower with its petals raised. When you light it, the petals open and the middle part is like a small firework/fountain. I oohed and ahhed that that. I got sang to at multiple times of the day, including in morning assembly and in the dining hall. I had pretty much the whole junior school coming into the classroom to give me cards that I had made whilst I was teaching. Later on, they all came back again to give me a huge birthday cake, which we all destroyed. I felt like a celebrity. Then, for the evening, Ine and I went out for some Indian food. Stuffed right now. If you touch me, I will be sick eveeeerywhere. Can't move. Sat and watched the United game on ITV+1 and was half sleepy/all full of food. Blurrrrgh.
  22. You could get some blocks or something to place the bar on, to give it some height. If you do get a squat stand, then that could help in that respect.
  23. Happy Birthday, Bob! 26 is one sexy age to be. Also, you have always looked like Jim Carey to me.
  24. @Raining_again, what do you think of the barbell? I "accidentally" got into all of this home-gym stuff. I originally bought a set of weights that came with a barbell and some dumbbells for home as a supplement to the gym. It wasn't intended to replace it. If I had known I would be doing this, I would probably have invested in Olympic weights. A bit too late to start again. I quite like the standard set. You going to buy any plates?
