  1. Out for PC and OS X now, Xbox360 in November and first quarter 2015 for PS4. It's a construction and management simulation which focuses around building cities.
  2. Hmm, let's analyse this bollocks then, shall we? De Laet should have been sent off twice. Once in the first half for two yellow card offences yet only received one. Should have received another yellow in the second. Bad call/s by the referee. Rafael is fouled in the build up to the penalty when we are winning 3-1. Should have been a free-kick to us. Then, the player dives in the box and receives a penalty. Should have been a yellow for a dive and a free kick to us. Then, to top it all, De Laet (who shouldn't be on the pitch) assists the goal to bring it to 4-3. (there's also the argument that Blackett was fouled in the build up to him being sent off before the penalty was given to take it to 5-3, but that's nowhere near as strong a call as the others...although it is technically a foul. More of a foul than the one Rafael apparently committed for the penalty) We defended badly throughout and Leicester played well, but the fact is that the referee gave them several gifts throughout the match and through his actions has given Leicester the platform to get back into the match when they should have been 3-1 down and reduced to 10 men. They could have brought the score back to 3-2 somewhere (given that our defence was poor) but the way that this has been handled is terrible. It would have been unlikely given that they most likely would have shut up shop and tightened things up after going down to 10. Well done to Leicester for a spirited performance. But (and as much as I hate people who blame the referee for things), the ref has won you this game. I don't like it when a referee's bad calls gives us an advantage, neither do I like it when it gives the opposition an advantage, or even when I'm a neutral watching two other teams play. I hate bad refereeing and this was terrible. (also, Jonny Evans is injured again. Him, Smalling and Jones spend more time in the sick bay than they do on the field)
  3. Although it's a controversial one due to not technically first appearing in 2014, but The Last of Us and Left Behind both have absolutely fantastic soundtracks. The remastered version only came out a few weeks ago, so I'm sure it can count for that reason. It's also on spotify, so I've abused the hell out of it on there. Amazing. Child of Light also has a few tunes that I thought were wonderful.
  4. It was a good laugh. Was mega-confused when you suddenly appeared in my game and then didn't speak. Really gave off that silent guardian vibe quite well. I enjoy this game a lot. Can't wait til I hit level 20 and I get access to the better weapons and armour. I feel like such a pansy at the moment.
  5. I think I'm with Rummy on this one. Unless you have somebody else in mind, you may as well go. Mainly for the curiosity. Although, it sounds like it could be awkward as hell.
  6. Yaargh, but it's completely fine because of the nature of the name. It's a proper pain in the arse of a name (all of them). Mohammed is another one because there's so many variations of it. I've seen Rasi spelt with a double s and Mohammed can also be seen as Muhammed, Mohammad and Muhammad. Some of my friends have Mohammad in their name and they all use different variations of the spelling. I'm pretty sure that I've misspelt Rasi as Rassi over the years (think it can also be spelt with a z and double z...) due to not using that name much at all. I usually just go by the final three names and most of my friends and family have known me as "Jim" since I was about...6. My Mum calls me Jim, as does Ine and my school, work and uni friends. It's one of these things that seems like a great/funny/beautiful idea at the time but is huuuugely impractical in real life. I need a continuation form for my name when filling out my passport application and my driver's licence can only contain the first few names due to not having enough space on the card (this has caused me SOOOOOOO many problems over the years, but has also led to many funny moments...it's also an amazingly good way of breaking the ice when meeting people). If we ever have kids, I definitely will be keeping the name as short as possible. Maybe just calling him or her MegaDrive as a tribute to that beast.
  7. Amazing finale, too. Really want to watch the film again now.
  8. Not going to lie, I want a third date just for the potential hilarity. Do eet, Kav. Don't let us down. Also, it's funny that the date was a disaster yet you still got to kiss her.
  9. Rasi. I didn't even spot it until Ine started counting them afterwards. I'm doing my passport forms at the moment so it's causing me a lot of bother. I cri, evrytiem.
  10. Wait a minute- Ine and I just counted the names again and it turns out that you missed one. YOU FUCKING INFIDEL!
  11. Simultaneously the best and worst thing I've ever read (today). Think you got lucky, big time. Imagine if this type of stuff was happening when you were months into a relationship with her. My head hurts from reading that. Wait, I've just re-read it and she wants to meet for a third date? Seriously? Unless this is Scarlett Johansson, don't do eet brah. Although, one good date minus one bad date means you are back to neutral, so it could end up alright?
  12. I've now got this game for PS4 thanks to @Ashley! Wohooooo. Can somebody help me out with something? The iOS costumes. I only Android, I don't even iOS. Apparently the Android-to-console-sync doesn't work that great with lots of people reporting issues of apparently doing the necessary thing on the Android version of the game to unlock the costume, but the WBid for some reason won't carry across to the console game. Help. I need Bane's Knightfall costume in mah life.
  13. I arrived home after playing football for two hours with my after school club, tired, sweaty and hungrrry. There's a parcel on the table which is addressed to all 9 of my names with the final part "aka Jim" added in for the laughs. I open it up and find a small thank you letter from @Ashley and Injustice for PS4. Fuckyeeeeeeah. Cheeers, brah.
  14. This is looking better and better. The PS4 is missing a great racing game and a fighting game of some sort. (still tempted to double-dip for Injustice, mind) The reviews will make or break this for me.
  15. I was in a similar boat to you because I've been Nintendo only for most of my life (except for the SEGA systems bar the Saturn and I also had the original Xbox...which I never touched really) and fancied something different. Only ever played the first two Tomb Raiders and didn't love them. Never played Assassin's Creed, never played The Last of Us. Kind of out of the loop if I'm honest. So far, I own Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV, Battlefield 4, The Last of Us and Destiny. Tomb Raider and The Last of Us are two of the very best games that I've played in the last five or so years on any system. I plunged so much time into Watch Dogs, Ine is addicted to Assassin's Creed and I enjoy the multiplayer on Battlefield and Destiny. There's also a fair few downloadable games that we have acquired. Resogun is great, as is Strider. Transistor hasn't been touched yet but I hear it's good. You'll build up a stockpile of quite a few games because of PS+. Fl0W, Flower and Journey are games that I am looking forward to playing at some point. Is there a reason you're not considering shooters? I'm not huge on them, but Metro Redux looks really, really good to me. As does Alien Isolation which is my most anticipated title of the year. There's quite a lot of variety in the genre, probably more so than you'd expect. Either way, if you didn't have a PS3 or 360 last gen, the incentive to jump on it now is pretty good, imo. It's only going to get better, too. I'm not sure just how long the WiiU is going to be about but I feel safe in knowing that the PS4 has tons of mileage in it.
  16. I'm confused. Why are you comparing The Metroid Prime Trilogy to Destiny? They're not even in the same genre. They're nothing alike except for having a first person viewpoint.
  17. Yeah, I agree. I don't regret my purchase one bit. I'm also not as excited for Smash Bros as I thought I would be. In terms of what I'm looking forward to over the coming months, FIFA (because of the amount of people getting it here), Alien and Drive Club are probably higher on my list of priorities than Smash. All three will be out before Smash, too.
  18. I reckon he's probably doing some kind of full body split workout. E.g, work your upper and lower body in the same workout, maybe three times a week. Squats, bench, possibly deadlift, too. I've contemplated doing that myself. You'll probably see all kinds of gains if you eat right, too. Your body will adapt the more you do it and if you eat enough. The downside is that I guess that you'd have to skimp out on all of the accessory exercises and stick mainly to the compounds.
  19. Played in The Crucible for the first time tonight and had some great matches with @Jimbob and @gmac. Two standout games in particular. One game where we were losing for the majority of the game and had managed to whittle it down to about 40 points with 10 seconds to spare. Finally ended up winning that game! Unbelievable. The three of us were shocked at the end result. Then, another game where all seemed to be going to plan with me thinking that we were miles ahead until the YOU LOST LOLOL screen came up at the end...turns out I had read the score wrong and didn't realise that we were actually losing that game all the way through! Thought we were genuinely winning until the final score came on. Cue much laughter.
  20. You should try Black Flag. From what I've seen Ine play, it's very good. She's pumped tons of hours into it. (also means I can't play Destiny or Battlefield) As for me, my worst game? That's hard. I had the South Park game for the PC which was absolute crap. Despite me being a huge fan of the tv show, this game is just awful to look at, has shit controls and a fucking awfuuuuul framerate. I used to feel physically sick whilst playing it. Plus, it's so slow. Boring as fuck. In addition to that, I had a football sim on the Dreamcast called UEFA Striker or something of the sort (it had Dwight Yorke on the cover). I found that pretty unplayable.
  21. A huge difference today compared with our previous performances. This was always going to happen once the new signings actually played. Rojo, Herrera, Blind, Di Maria and Falcao all took part, with Shaw being the only one who missed out. Rojo looked solid enough and got forward well, Blind broke things up nicely in midfield, Falcao made a steady first appearance and Herrera looked great on the ball. Di Maria is just on another level to every single player that we have. Him and Januzaj are our two best wingers since Ronaldo was here. The pace of the midfield was just so much quicker. Di Maria, Blind and Herrera is just so much better on paper and in reality than what we've had in recent years. It was refreshing to actually see the balls going forward for a change. It's only one game and it does not at all mean that we've suddenly gotten over our bad spell, but it's a start. Our season starts here.
  22. The "Ridley is 2 BIIIIG" argument is full of bullshit. In Smash, you've got Olimar and Pikachu fighting characters who should be towering over them. Bowser, for example. The scale is adjusted. Let's be real for a moment, Olimar wouldn't make a fucking dent on Ganondorf if they were done to scale of how they normally appear. Aside from Ridley, there are many, many other characters from the Metroidverse that could appear. Nightmare would be immense, for example. Even Mother Brain as she appears in Super Metroid could be done. What about the Omega Metroid from Fusion?
  23. :p I'm not sure when I'll be online next. I've played a bit this morning with @Cookyman. Had a great laugh. I think I was in Orbit and just browsing a few things (checking my weapons out) and heard this voice coming from the telly. "Morning, Jim." My PS4...it's become aware! A sentient being. Got massively confused for a moment before I then had to scramble across the living room looking for the mic. The Moon. Fuuuuuuark. So pretty.
  24. I've only got a handful of PS4 games so far (Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed, The Last of Us, Battlefield 4 and Destiny) but they've all either met or surpassed my expectations so far. For me, Destiny is living up to the hype. I fucking LOVE upgrading shit and I'm having a blast at how you can obtain more weapons, armour, helmets, abilities, that sorta stuff. It's brilliant. It's a constantly evolving experience and you feel yourself getting stronger all of the time. I don't know what it is, but this just feels extremely satisfying to play. The game itself also looks lovely, in my opinion. I'm only level 9 atm so still feel like Private n00b, but I'm getting there. This and Battlefield are complete time suckers.
