Ah, if the ratings don't affect the upgrades, then that's good. I'm more concerned about me pulling my weight more than anything! If the formation has been working, then it's just a case of making sure I am doing the right things for the team. Which goes back to my earlier bit about being unsure whether to stick wide or stick inner. Sorta like the difference between Di Maria and Herrera at United where Di Maria kinda goes...everywhere but Herrera isn't really a wide player, although they both play on the outer parts of the diamond. I think I read somewhere about it being much harder to score from crosses in this game compared to 14, too. I guess it doesn't matter too much as long as we're a perfectly functioning machine. I thought we did well last night, lots of communication going on, people making runs, etc. I really enjoyed it, most I've enjoyed with FIFA in years. I'll only get better too with the online...hopefully. Am more than happy to stick with being on the right of midfield as long as people think I'm doing a good job there. Are we on tonight? I want moar.

Ah, that's pretty neat. The chapters are slightly longer than I thought they would be. I just did the part in mission 7 where:

We're stronger with our attackers going through the middle, so I think putting the strikers wide left and wide right would disadvantage us. My ratings weren't great last night, but if I still keep doing the blocks, standing tackles, short passes, etc, will I still keep gaining new skills and points? Or is the rating directly linked in to that? Those two penalties were top class. Some really fantastic goals last night, too. I think we played pretty well as a team and there wasn't any of that selfish ball hogging that we saw some of the other teams play. Remember that one team where they just gave it to the one guy who tried to run right through us? Can't remember if we lost or drew that game.

Sorry to kick you whilst your down, but you dun goof'd, brah. That was one hell of a deal! I'd have said that £349 for a PS4 with Fifa would be a decent deal, buth Alien AND Minecraft, too? That's fucking insane. You can probably shop around and find something close to the £330-340 mark for a PS4 with one game, but I think you're going to struggle to find anything close to that. Sorry...check out HotUkDeals daily and something may pop up on there.

I didn't pay 100% attention tonight due to Fifffaaa (awesome tonight), but it was a frustrating performance. We saw a lot of the ball and had a lot of chances, but only 1 point to show for it. I thought West Brom defended well and frustrated us and also they took both of their chances well. Van Persie worries me. At the moment, I'd start with Falcao instead of him. Rooney being suspended is a right ball-ache. Oh well, only Chelsea and City next. *cries into a pillow*

I really enjoyed tonight's games, guys. Sorry for not paying 100% attention, United were giving me a fucking heart attack, as per usual! I'm not sure what position I should be playing in or how to get the most out of me for the team. I don't think staying purely wide right is the right tactic because we tend to pass through the middle. I'm wondering if 4-2-3-1 would be the right way to go for the future once we get to the harder teams, with myself sitting next to Sexual Chocolate, then with you four (Ese, Dazzy, Lost and Gmac) all in front of us. There were a few occasions where their defence lumped a ball up field and they were suddenly against our back four. It would pretty much be 4-2-4 because the four of you are fantastic going forward and create lots of chances and tons of movement. I also don't mind sticking wide right if we carry on with the diamond, although I'm wondering if coming in-field is the better tactic for me rather than hugging the touchline, because I don't think I'll see an awful lot of the ball out there. Some of the games tonight were hilarious, such as that crazy game where we were 4-0 up within a few minutes. Insane really. I've got my first game nerves out of the way and United aren't playing in the week again, so you have my full attention. Loved it.

I'll put the football on the laptop so I can play tonight if that's the plan. What camera angle do you guys use when doing the Pro Clubs? Do you use the "pro" angle? Which do you find easiest? I imagine sticking with the default angle where you can see most of the pitch can be a pain when you don't have possession of the ball or if it's on screen.

It learns? In what way? Do you mean how it can be unpredictable and if you keep retrying the same area again and again, it'll do something different each time? I really want to play right now but...it's half past 10 and I think I'd lose man points for doing it during the day. REEEEEALLLY tempted to close all of the curtains and plan in the dark like some sort of hermit. Also, I mentioned it already but I'll say it again, playing it with the headphones on is the greatest of all time. It made my heart race and it was just on a completely different level. You appreciate the sound design a whole lot more and the shrieks that the Alien makes just annihilate your ear drums.

I've just done Chapter 6 tonight. I've had soooo many tense moments tonight. Just when I thought "oh, I'm getting used to the game now!" it quickly reminds you that it's hard as nails. I died about 3 times within the first 10 minutes, each time differently to the last. Also, playing this game with headphone is TERRIFYING. I almost died. The sound effects of both the ship and the alien absolutely destroy you. Words can't express how good this game is.

Well done, Zell. That's one Zell of an achievement. I bet you feel like you've been to Zell and back.

Yesterday was crazy. That Wenger interview afterwards was just...awkward as hell. Thought Hull were going to hold on, unlucky for them really. Southampton and Sunderland was insane. I missed the highlights as I was visiting a friend, so can't wait to watch that tonight. I managed to watch City vs. Spurs. City looked immense in attack but Spurs made it soooo easy for them, particularly on the wings. Danny Rose was positionally terrible yesterday and got caught out so many times. Every time City went forward, they looked like they were going to score. Two of the penalty decisions were awful, though. The foul on Lampard wasn't a penalty and neither was the foul on Soldado, which was outside of the box. Can't argue with the sending off and think the ref got that one spot on. I was surprise to see so many Spurs fans bemoaning that one, seemed clear as day to me.

I'm going to do our food shopping in a few hours, but should be available after that. What time was everyone thinking? I assumed it would be around 7 since most of the other games seemed to be at that time. I think I should be able to get on for just after 4 or close to that.

I'M AVAILABLE FROM SUNDAY ONWARDSSSSSSSS. Half term, baby. So excited. I'm purposefully going to make some time to play this. I've got it all sussed out. I'm going to get my work and workout done in the daytime and then will pick Ine up from work before going online with this. The only issue is having my tea, but I can work that out. IN. IN. I managed to get online tonight and joined the club. Hoooraaaaay! I've also got those 3 free DLC cars. Double hoorrray.

I've made decent progress on this tonight, although I still feel like I'm early into the game. I was doing quite well and then the Alien preyed on me from a vent that was above my head. Didn't expect that. Diiiied.

I've been trying to accept but the servers are down for me. Even when it says that the connection has been re-established, it's down when I try to accept the invite.

I've managed fine without the online aspect, so far. It's still a great racing game at its core. For me, the dynamic timing makes it even more awesome. Starting a race in the day and finishing it at night and vice versa. So cool. I need the dynamic weather so badly.

I've got a banging headache and a sore throat. The kids are all coming down with the annual pre-half term sickness and it looks like it's got me. Feel like shit. I wanted to get my exercise done tonight but can't, so it'll have to be a rest day. Laaaaaaaaaame.

I think I'm going to struggle to get online early for the pro clubs. I've pretty much just got home and by the time I've exercised, showered and had tea, it's at least 9:30. Will you guys be online at the weekend? I want to get in on this badly but have no fecking time at the moment.

I've played for about 3 hours tonight. Two and a half of those hours have been spent hiding in a locker or crouching.

Some great games there, @dazzybee. You can definitely tell that I don't go online much/play an awful lot of multiplayer! The first game was good, 3-1 I think that finished. But, that second game where I was Chelsea, fuuuuuck. I got annihilated. I've got my camera set up as the broadcast camera, to make the matches look more Match of the Day-like. It didn't work great in multiplayer, if I'm honest. I switched it to the default one at half time and managed to get a goal back to make it 4-1. Think the next game was the 0-0 game where I was Arsenal, that was a good one. Fuck me, United are so slow in midfield and defence. I can see why you go Spurs because Adebayor and Eriksen have been given a fair bit of speed. Some of the kids at my school reckon that they've got both Ade and Erikssen's stats wrong and that they are too good in this. Excellent games. I well enjoyed that, although I need to play moar to get better. Think I got progressively better, especially in terms of tightening things up.

No worries, that's alright. Talking of house hunting, Ine is looking online for places that we could eventually buy. It's all very confusing! I've had my banana on toast (hnnnnnnng) and have my tea ready. Coming online now. I'll still be online here so we can message here if need be.
