  1. Good game, @lostmario. 1-0 to you. I couldn't get the ball up front for most of this game. I think I need to do what you said and either go two up front or put Rooney up there instead of Falcao. I had the ball in the midfield but there wasn't enough movement or pace to work my way up to the box. How good is Dea Gea, though?
  2. Shenmue III Nokia 3210 exclusive. So close...
  3. I'm still powering away with this and I've finally "understood" how the survival challenges work. I have to say that the herb-hunting system in this game is excellent. It reminds me of how painful it was in Xenoblade yet how easy it is here. Or easier, rather. For those of you that don't know, each herb is given a symbol with a colour, like a red cross. In each region of the map, you'll find numerous symbols next to it telling you which herbs are available during that region. It's far, far, faaaaaaar better than the painful random-item-pickup in Xenoblade which I found infuriating. It made collecting a real pain in the arse and down to pot luck. At least this feels like there is some sort of logic behind it.
  4. That's what I thought. I was certain it was going to be free within the next few months but then First Light got put on Plus instead. Kinda threw me a bit. Is the price worth it? I'm using the remainder of the voucher that Ine bought so I'll have two pence remaining LAWLSPENDALLTHEMONEY
  5. I don't think we have any plans at all this weekend. United game is on at 3 on Saturday, so I'm unavailable during that time. Aside from that, when's best for you? I've just done an afterschool football club (just finished, posting this from work computer) for two and a half hours so I'm reeeeeally tired tonight.
  6. Mate, don't worry. Don't forfeit the match/es because we can slot them in somewhere, even if it means delaying the match for a week or something and playing them later. I don't really want to get three points through a forfeit.
  7. Second Son is £15.99 on the PSN store. I've never played an inFAMOUS game before. Is it worth it or will it most likely be free on plus within the next few months?
  8. Great month by the looks of it. I've already bought Transistor for Ine, otherwise I'd have been really happy with that.
  9. Ready whenever you are. I've just walked through the door from work so am a little late, apologies. Edit: 10:22...match is obviously not getting played tonight. I'm going for a well deserved shower as I can't be arsed waiting.
  10. Gah, I thought they were going to get another goal right at the end to win it. Would have been incredible. So close.
  11. I have work til late tomorrow. I should be ok to come online in the evening, around 9. Would that be a good time?
  12. Genuinely fist pumped in work after I had a cheeky browse on the net after all the kids had left. Fucuuuukkkyeeeeeesssss. This is literally the one thing I actually wanted and now we're getting it. Can't believe it.
  13. I watched the video this morning of the concert with 65Daysofstatic playing along to the footage of the game. It really was excellent. They're doing well to keep tight-lipped about this game. I just hope that it's not too far away. End of 2015 would be brilliant.
  14. I swapped mine over yesterday and found the experience to be the polar opposite of yours. With the exception of a slight panic thinking I didn't have the right screw-driver (I did, it was in the toolbox the whole time), it was easy. I wouldn't say that I am very technically aware, but the information here was fool-proof. The only downside for me is that all of my capture footage/videos are on the old hdd and at some point I'm going to have to go through the hassle of transferring that over...Think I'll put the other drive back in at some point in the future and delete the files I don't need and just upload the rest to youtube.
  15. Insane that this thread has only got three pages. I thought that there were more with this game. I've reached that point now where I've upgraded myself enough so that I can take down swarms of enemies with ease. I did one of the side quests where you had to kill 50 orcs within an enclosed area and I just ruined them.
  16. I didn't say we played that well. I said we didn't actually play that badly, which we didn't. Most fans are patient because we know that these things take time and that there's tons of work to be done.
  17. We didn't actually play that badly, but they clearly wanted a replay and rightfully so as the money they'll receive from it will benefit them greatly. Aside from that really good chance in the first half that just went over the bar, I thought we did alright and were never really in danger of losing it. We had something like 80% of the ball in the second half and couldn't break them down. The subs Herrera and Van Persie helped but we just couldn't get the goal to open them up. I think most sides would have struggled there tonight, tbh, they were well set up defensively. On a side note, a bit of a piss take organising this tie for a Friday night kick-off.
  18. Give us a message next week when you're up for the match.
  19. The colour tone is representative of the game's setting and atmosphere. There's no real way around it without ruining what the game sets out to do. I'm looking forward to it but I'm also eager to see reviews/previews of it beforehand. Think it could turn out great but can easily see it not hitting the mark.
  20. I'm really struggling with the hyper cars and can't win a race with them. Whenever I break hard, the car just turns almost 180 and acts all flimsy. If I go slower and break a bit more gently into the corner, I'm at the back of the pack anyway. What's the best way to drive them?
  21. Have I got gaming fatigue? No. Not at all. In fact, I've probably put more time into gaming in the past 9 months than I have in the past few years. Definitely the last three, at least. It's actually really nice to be able to enjoy gaming again and suck so much time into it. On the other hand, I do have Nintendo fatigue. I wasn't keen on the WiiU's idea at all and it hasn't been a good console for me. I'm bored shitless with Nintendo, particularly their attitude to just rely on their old stuff to keep going. Even Mario pisses me off, tbh and I find it painful these days (or have done for a while) seeing his name or face slapped on everything to get it to sell. I miss the ground-breaking Nintendo we had in the past, the kind that would just throw caution to the wind and make new, exciting games for the hell of it. There's a very strong chance that I won't buy their next system as I don't see them improving.
  22. @Esequiel, when do you fancy playing out match, brah? I'm feeling it this week. Think I can get a win! I'm due some luck. I WANT TO BE LEAF.
  23. I can't see Chelsea conceding/Liverpool scoring at Stamford Bridge. Think Chelsea will score at least twice to take the tie comfortably. They've just got that ability to turn it on when they feel like it and they're very well balanced in almost all areas. Unfortunately, I think Liverpool needed to win and possibly not concede tonight to have a proper chance of making it.
  24. You could move the telly from the bedroom to the living room to replace the poverty one. You mention the living room not being very private. Who do you live with? Is there a chance you'll be interrupted? If so, I'd use the bedroom instead then, maybe.
