I don't really come into contact with that many smokers anymore, especially since finishing uni and moving away from Brighton with its many pubs and bars. Would it piss me off if I was eating a meal and somebody's cigarette smoke was blowing in my direction? Yes, it would. My brother used to smoke inside our house and the rooms/walls/carpets/everything used to smell absolutely terrible. Going on a night out in Brighton, it would get irritating that your clothes would stink of smoke. I still don't really understand why people really do it in the first place, nevermind the whole addiction thing. Why bother starting? Forgetting all of the economical side of things, would I prefer to do outside and not come into contact with smokers in a park or at a restaurant or bar? Yup.

I do love the look of it and it's another one of those games that is tempting me to just pick up a cheap PS3. I've got a fair few Plus games, so it would be worth it. Hmm.

I've just downloaded the demo and played it for a bit. You know what, it does control really well! I did the tutorial but didn't win the election...I ended up building too many things at once and nothing ended up being completed. Booo.

They're all excellent games. It doesn't reeeeeally matter what you play first. Tomb Raider is just insane value for money. Go for that for definite. If you don't mind paying full price or close to it, go for Batman. It has a lot of variety to it in terms of combat, Batmobile stuff, puzzle solving, etc. InFAMOUS isn't really a puzzle type game, it's an action/superhero story. So, lots of combat, which is pretty fun in itself. Whatever you do, it should be Tomb Raider + 1 (at least). You'd be an absolute lunatic not to get it at that price. Go with your gut. You'll end up playing each game eventually anyway (because we'll force you to, aha). If Batman is taking your fancy, do it.

It actually sounds rather good! I'm interested. Population mechanic sounds crazy.

It's a great game. There were one or two moments where I raged, but there's too much other good stuff that overshadows it. Where are you now? Which region?

I don't really drink SHAM-PAG-NAY, but I'll happily take all of the cake for those calorie gains. We're pretty relaxed people, tbh. I can't see us getting stressed out too much or @Eenuh becoming too bossy. If it comes down to the big decisions, I'll mostly go with whatever she wants because, in the end, she's usually right anyway. :p (the trick is to make her think it was her idea when it was really mine alllll alooooong) Tbh, I don't really know how any of this stuff works anyway. I just want a party. I'd be lying if I said Wedding Cake isn't part of the reason why I'm doing this.

InB4 Hero gets himself sent back in time to 1955.

How far did you get? Just when I thought I knew the game and that it didn't scare me anymore, it does something else to make you realise, "Nope, I own you, bitch." Love the game. In about a year when my heart has recovered, I'll be going back for a second playthrough.
-
I imagine others have finished it by now and are waiting for New Game + or the DLC. When NG+ is out, I'm going back for a second play through. Hnnnnnggggg, I just want moar of this. Some hero online has uploaded the Gwent Cards for people to download and print off. I'm going to be showing @Eenuh that before the inevitable real life version of it arrives. Hnnngggg, fucking love me some Gwent hnnggggg.

I wouldn't be dead against unlock as you progress, but that's not really what's happening here. Like I said, if it unlocked more parts as you did tutorials or challenges, then I think that's fair. It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense the way that it's done here.
-
So, how do you go about actually getting the tools? Do you have to log in each day to get each tool? Or can you insert the game disc, play around a little bit, come back after over a week and everything will be there? @somme's got it right. It's primarily a creation tool, so everything should either be there from the start or there should be challenges or something (even tutorials) which will cause the tools to be unlocked once they are completed. I don't see the sense in doing it related to time.

It's shit, but still the best sport that there is. It seems like City are after the same players we are. Otamendi and Pedro. I would be delighted with either of these two. Both of them would be unbelievable. I can see Pedro coming to United and Otamendi going to City. We probably need him more than Pedro, although both would improve our side. Can't see De Bruyne going to City this summer. Unless the rumours of 50 million are true.

Fair enough, I always thought it was Microsoft's equivalent of GT. I didn't realise that they were released so frequently. -

Why does it feel like there's been so many Forza titles for the One already? I just had a look and this will be the third Forza game for the Xbox One. That's...overkill, in my opinion. If I had one of the previous games, I'd feel like it has suddenly become devalued. Is it a yearly entry now like FIFA? -
Good man. There's not really anything to worry about for a while now, I think. Just sit back and enjoy the story. Maybe sure you do some sidequests and enjoy the soundtrack.

Yeah, that last bit is known as time under tension. In theory, doing slower reps means that the muscle spends more time under tension and you should see good growth as a result of it. Everybody's body works in different ways, so some people will see huge gains by using smaller weight but doing super slow and controlled sets, whilst others see better gains at heavier weight. As long as you're seeing improvements and are happy doing it, I don't think there's really a right way. Hence why there's a fuckload of different routines and structures out there. The more you do it, the less it hurts. I barely feel a thing now except maybe tiredness the next day. You only really get pains like that if you've never done it before or you're doing it after too long a break. I remember the first time I had those pains and felt like I was going to throw up. The whole leg day meme shit is over-rated and it's mostly by people who either don't train legs enough or hardly ever do it in the first place.

Good going, @Daft. That's excellent that you went for it. I'm going to have to echo @Shorty here and say that I've also stepped away slightly from 5x5. It's too draining. Doing 5 sets of heavy squats and then going to 5 sets of bench is also mentally exhausting. I realised this a few weeks ago where I was just flat out dead from doing the squats, it's tough going. I go for 3x5 now and it's given me a little boost. I found that I was much sharper when going to the second and third exercises after doing this, plus also the saving of time. I get back to the UK tomorrow. Pumped and ready to hit the weights again.

I'd like to be able to play the entire series on one system. So, 0, 1, 2, 3, CV/CVX, 4...don't really care after that. I know the GameCube tried to do this, but it's jarring to have one particular style and look for 0 and 1 and then to have just...ports of 2,3 and CV:X. I want all the games to have a similar, updated look. We could be getting towards that. Although, I hope that the excitement that this news generates shows Capcom how much people want the older-style games rather than what it's become.

I only ever really played the most out of the first Prime (played bits of the second when a friend brought it around). It's definitely worth trying at some point. Such a great game. I'd also check out Fusion, which is also very good. I know that Axiom Verge is meant to be very Metroid-like in a few ways. @Goron_3, did you play this in the end?

Yeah, I've been following all of that news and can't believe he's got the nerve to treat his staff like that. It's even more obscene considering that Chelsea actually have a very, very good injury record for the past few seasons; something which is obviously down to the medical staff. Hazard went down, the doctors treated him as they're paid to do. I know some people will try to be clever and think that Mourinho is spinning this to take the pressure off his team or Courtois who got sent off, but I'm annoyed at just how disrespectful he's being to his staff. It's just not needed.

C'maaaaan, that's at the very end of the scary-scale. You're not that bad, are you, @Ronnie? I know which bits @RedShell is referring to. If it's the bit I'm thinking of, it's really well done and adds a lot to the story. It's what you'd expect from Batman, I guess. A few moments here and there that are a bit dark.

Ambient is probably a very good way of describing the previous album Further. Ish. I say that because there were still moments of pure rockiness on there, too. The new album is more electronica/house than the previous album. I'm asking @Eenuh for her opinion because it's a tricky one to nail down. It's not really psychedelic at all. It's upbeat, I think house is the way to describe it. Something that you can nod your head to or you'd have playing at a house party. Wide Open is probably the most ambient track off the album and one of my favourites. It wouldn't be out of place on the previous record. It features Beck on vocals and is the final song on the album, which is a nice serene way to end it. Wouldn't you know it, I can't find a youtube link for it. Spotify is your friend. Here's a link to it on Daily Motion: Here This is a cracker and is the opening song off the album- I'll See You There is quite psychedelic actually. A bit Setting Sun-esque. @Eenuh is quite a big fan of EML Ritual: There's a good amount of variety on the album and it's just a top tier piece of music, imo. I fell in love with Further and thought it would be very hard to beat that. I believe that the album was designed with almost being like one continuous track in mind, a bit of a concept album I guess, but it came off really well. The more I listen to this, the more I think it's a better album. Go is the song that's been getting a lot of air time. Probably for a good reason as it's a such a good tune. I thought I'd check out the album, but hadn't expected it to be quite so good. It's actually Spotify music for Rocket League, too.

Yeah, I don't know whether I'm more surprised at Nintendo's games being the same price years after launch or that the prices of other games drop so quickly. Lego City for WiiU is still at full price for example, hence why I've never picked it up. You'll find that you can build a collection fairly quickly, especially if you don't mind going down the preowned route. I'm grateful for it as it means I can play more games.
