  1. After a long leave of absence, I've started replaying this game. I completely understand why I stopped playing at the Carnival of the Dead levels. They are shit. Number three in particular. I've been on it for MORE than an hour and I still can't get to the end of it. I've been wondering why I stopped playing this game and now I know. There's a huge, huge difficulty spike in this level and it just stops becoming fun. What a shame as the rest of the game is good. One thing I do wish for in a sequel is for checkpoints. I know that there's the retry button, but that actually makes it even more demoralising once you realise that you just have...quicker access to start the whole thing again. Yay! There's nothing really good about having to do the level from its entirety. Maybe even two buttons. One button to restart the level again and one to redo the last checkpoint. Number 3 on Carnival is pretty long considering that you have to be completely focused and are doing something physically for the entire time. I've wasted my time.
  2. MOTORISTS have blasted a pair of drivers who held up traffic on a busy dual carriageway in Hampshire with their own rolling roadblock. Angry drivers have posted footage that shows a what appears to be a Volkswagen Golf and a Renault Trafic van being driven side by side along the A31 towards the M27 at a speed of around 30mph – well below the speed limit of 70mph. I've driven down this road before but haven't seen anything like. Would have raged hard.
  3. Man of Steel is awesome. Sounds like you got very lucky with that! I've only ever had a meal by myself in a restaurant once and that was when I was walking back home from work when I lived in Brighton. I was starving as it was a fairly late shift and a bit of a hefty walk back to my house, so I popped in there on the way home and just had my tea there. (couldn't deal with the thought of cooking when I got home and it would be too late anyway since people would be getting ready for bed and stuff) The place was empty apart from myself and I was too damn tired and hungry to care about feeling weird or whatever. Never tried the cinema alone thing. I quite like that chat you have with people afterwards where you discuss what you've seen, how good/shite it was, etc. For the price of a ticket, it's bordering on a night out so I only really go there when it's a big film. I'd only really do it if there was a film I was absolutely desperate to see and nobody else wanted to see it.
  4. DriveClub (the full version) is a bit of a bargain, imo. There's a fair amount to it and it's a really good game. It polarises people, though. You either fall into the one camp who live on it daily and know the game inside out, or you don't get on with the handling and find it a bit unexciting compared to other games. Luckily, I fall into the former. But, it all depends on how you like the handling of the cars and (I guess) the pace of the game. There's a good bit of speed to it. I would say that it is pretty hard though...It's no walk in the park. Play it for yourself and see what you think of it. Not sure if the full weather effects and day and night stuff is on the free version...it probably is. Think @Jimbob was possibly correct with his info earlier and that you get a fair bit of content but just one region.
  5. My bar arrived and I've been able to have my very first session with the new equipment. Feelsgoodman. I've ordered some increment weights (1.25s and 2.5s) as I feel that I need them. Also, my collars didn't arrive, so had to contact the peoples and ask for them. Should be here soon. It does mean that our room is a bit crazy, atm. There's weights everywhere. Big bumper plates, standard weight plates of all different sizes. The whole house STILL smells of rubber...I'm quite used to it now.
  6. I feel quite sorry for Celtic because that would have changed the game at that point. I think I'm actually starting to become (a bit) disillusioned with football. I'm hoping some joy will come back into it when school starts up again and I can get my football club up and running.
  7. Tempted to change my prediction for this game. It's looking like a 2016 release alongside Project Morpheus.
  8. So, Arsenal scored a good goal and the final result was 0-0. Why do we watch this crap? Seriously, this needs looking at as it's getting beyond a joke now.
  9. I blow hot and cold with the OHP. Some days I'm really up for it and can lift a decent amount, and there's other days where I'm clearly not in the mood. Eating and resting the night before I was going to attempt this lift (as well as eating enough on the day) helped me love it more. Just keep trying with it and maybe look at your technique to see how you can tighten that up more. On the whole, it is going to be the one that you lift the least in, since the majority of people will be able to bench, squat and deadlift (probably bb row, too) more than they OHP.
  10. This is one of those games where I know I should go back and play it again (because it's so good), but I keep putting it off. Soundtrack is pretty awesome, too. That and Tomb Raider were my first PS4 games.
  11. Have you downloaded this month's PS+ games yet, @Ronnie? I know very little about all of the ones for next month, so yay. New stuff.
  12. Haha, it was a comedy of errors on our part. Ine was just confused because she was doing something else and I logged her in and thrust the controller into her hands about 3 sconds before the match started. We were cracking up as each goal went in, we both kept going for the same balls and bumping into each other. It was hilarious. We'll have to do that again with our headsets on. Also, I fucked up and didn't add bots. Halfway into the match Eenuh said something like, "it's just him and he's killing us!"
  13. Fuck saaake, would have strongly considered getting a Vita for this had I known. Love that TeamWiiU hashtag.
  14. So, I've just discovered Sound Shapes and am watching @Eenuh play through it right now. Why didn't you bitches tell me about this sooner?! It's amazing! It's got a fucking level editor, too. Plus, Beck and Deadmau5 provided music for it... Hnnnnnggggggggggggg. Please tell me that there was a massive buzz around this when it was released? It's brilliant.
  15. Yeah, I can't fault the game on a technical level. It looked and sounded great and I don't remember coming across any bugs, glitches or crashes. Seemed really well made, for consoles anyway. Aside from the tank bits, the game is excellent. Even towards the end, I wouldn't say I accepted to the tank bits but I found them less irritating. I wasn't keen on The Riddler, but I didn't think much of those bits in Arkham City anyway, so there's nowt new there. Story was excellent though. Looking back, I think I preferred this story to Arkham City. Definitely will play it through again at some point.
  16. Yaaaay, a first win for Bournemouth! I had a feeling that they'd get a result today. We went out tonight with friends, so I missed their performance on Match of the Day. Gutted. :P Will have to catch it on MotD2 tomorrow.
  17. I played Entwined today and finished it in a single sitting. I really enjoyed my time with it, especially due to how colourful it was at times. Very trippy. There's a bit of a difficulty spike in the 8th level, but it's not too terrible. The game isn't that long, but I think that's probably a good thing. Perfect length, in my opinion. So many other games to get through, aaah. Games of 2015 Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Finished and Platinumed Transistor - Finished The Walking Dead Season One - Finished and Platinumed inFAMOUS Second Son - good ending completed Watchdogs - started in 2014, finally finished main story The Walking Dead Season Two - Finished The Order 1886 - Finished BLOODBORNE - Finished Never Alone - Finished Hohokum - Finished The Witcher 3 - Story (and many other quests!) completed Journey - Finished FlOw - Finished Batman: Arkham Knight - Main story completed. Can't be arsed collecting all of the Riddler trophies Everybody's Gone To The Rapture - Finished Entwined - Finished
  18. I'm tempted to, but I've got too much other stuff to play through. I might wait for it to appear in a deal or to drop in price slightly before I go for it. Definitely one to play, though. :D

  19. Didn't know you were a Newcastle fan. Sure, they've been dogshit for years so this is better than nothing. But, for a club of that stature to be playing football like that doesn't really sit right with me. My own personal view. Most Newcastle fans will be happy with that performance and I won't begrudge them that. Tbh, I'm more annoyed that we scored a good goal and ended up drawing 0-0. Now that doesn't sit right with me.
  20. One cool thing which I like is that you can send photos to other friends using the messaging system. @dan\-likes\-trees and I were doing it when playing The Witcher 3. I would quite like the game time log actually. It's pretty much the only thing I'd really fancy, but I can also live without it. Although, they can sometimes be weird...my Wii log actually missed out on loads of games that I knew for a fact I played but they weren't included. Notably, my Fifa08 time wasn't included. Not sure why or if there's some sort of reason behind that.
  21. It was pretty boring, although I'm pleased with how we controlled the game. Have to highly disagree that a draw was fair. We were all over them and had a good goal wrongly disallowed. Should have won the game comfortably. I'll be surprised if Rooney is still here next season or at least playing up front. Apart from his goal which should have been given, he didn't do anything today. He dropped far too deep and didn't leave anything for us up front. We need two good new strikers. If we only get one, it has to be one who can lead the line and give Rooney some competition. Hernandez should have buried his chance as that's what he's known for. Newcastle (mainly Coloccini) came and frustrated us and I won't begrudge them a point. But, I'll never be a fan of that style of football. Think they crossed our halfway line twice in the second half.
  22. When you get a PS4, add Everybody's Gone To The Rapture to your list. I think you'll like it.

  23. When you have time, play Everybody's Gone To The Rapture.

I've finished it and I watched Ine finish it yesterday. It's beautiful. :)

  24. What do you think of the music? The soundtrack is on Spotify if you ever fancy a re-listen. It's such a great soundtrack.
  25. Functional? Try pressing that b-button without having to seriously adjust your hand position. I wouldn't even blink twice if Nintendo ditched the whole GamePad thing. It hasn't worked and the bigger games on the system don't really make any meaningful use out of it. They'll probably keep it, though. If they do, I hope they make more use out of it next time than they have now.
