That is an incredibly awesome win there, @Esequiel - massive congrats to you and the family. You're gonna have a blast in Orlando!

Well. That sure delivered. The double whammy of episodes 9 and 10 really elevated the entire season. So much is gonna go down next year, can't wait.

The new anime and manga thread! [Use Spoiler Tags!]

Watching Your Lie in April at the moment. Good lord, it's a beautiful series with such a loveable cast. I don't want any of my theories about what's going to happen to come true! [edit] And done. Holy shit, shot straight up there to one of my favourite anime series of all time. Masterpiece. -
No fucking way is this happening, I clearly woke up in the wrong reality.

This is getting some pretty good reviews. I might have to nab myself a copy after all!

Episode 9 continues to be the highlight. What a ride.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

They need to somehow make the NX version definitive and hook all of us poor saps into buying a system and copy at launch. -
I've had a few customs stings recently on some Nintendoroids. Fortunately my figure buying is gonna slow down massively now. Need to start saving money again.

NOE came through for us again. Best Nintendo.

Nice spot there! That scene has to be the title screen, surely, with the cycle playing out if you leave the system alone. --- Man, the real world sucks. I want to live in that world instead. -
The Pokemon showcase was fine, it showed us some more of the game with some okay commentary. It was worth it just for all the little details people will pick out of the footage. They've nailed Zelda too, to think this stuff is all in the first 5% of the game is very, very exciting.

Looks good. Let's see how it plays. Wasn't expecting this to stack up to the games shown yesterday graphically, the system it was primarily developed for is significantly underpowered compared to the Ps4 and Xbox One. That said, the world itself looks artistically beautiful and like somewhere I'd see myself going to chill out or spend a few hours doing something. Hopefully something cool. -
Man, Sony slayed it last night. Almost every game had me interested and the orchestra was spot-on. Definitely the stand-out presentation so far - I'm hyped as hell for Nintendo, but I can see Sony easily taking the crown this year.

I need the next few hours to pass as quickly as possible. I've enjoyed the other conferences, especially Sony, but there's no denying whatever Nintendo brings to the table later tonight will have the biggest impact on my show experience this year. Time to get a pizza in and enjoy the ride. -

Hurry up Tuesday. -
Conventional fighting games with precise input based movesets, Call of Duty, RPGs with lots of number/stat management and Pokemon competitive battling are pretty much the gaming mountains I've accepted I will never climb. Tabletop games that put me on the spot to come up with creative stuff out of nowhere also leave me a nervous, sweaty wreck.

Oh god, my wallet. Why.

Maybe he'll be like the Yeti Minifigure where the head is combined with a moulded body piece, complete with back spikes and a little pot-belly that'll slide down over the standard torso. A standard moulded head with spikes attached via the neck would also be cool since it'd allow him additional articulation. Plus a piece like that might appeal to customisers. Would like them to address his skinny arms and legs but that's probably too much to ask for. Since LEGO made a Minifigure of Mr. Burns with the same proportions as a standard adult, I'm sure we won't get anything too special for Sanic.

Does Tony Hawk count? I can't imagine skating to anything other than Superman by Goldfinger. -
Bought a pair of the Duck Hunt ones as I found them in my size. Damn you VANS. I definitely didn't see some of the boxart for a bunch of DBZ games in there, Hyper Dimension was missing for sure, plus a load of the Sailor Moon games, and I don't remember seeing the Tench Muyo RPG but I'll definitely need to check again. Have backed the NES/Famicom book. If it's anywhere close to the SFC one it's gonna be great. Also really love those glitch screen postcards, I'm a total sucker for that sorta thing.

I think what you're doing is awesome and I was honestly very moved reading about your experiences and watching your video - going through all of that for so long must be extremely difficult. Mental health is something society needs to be far more open about and the more awareness raised and discussion channels opened the better. If I can think of any way to promote this or mention it to someone who can, I definitely will! Best of luck on this, please keep us updated on how it's going. -
None of the Nintendo VANS I want are available in my size, so I guess that's some money saved at least. Have any of you seen the Super Famicom Boxart Collection by Bitmap Books? I got my copy today and, despite the collection not having every single boxart, some of my fave Japanese anime games are missing, it's a really nicely presented book for the price - £25 on Amazon atm.
-
I'll take what I can get but my hype is the lowest it has ever been for an E3 from Nintendo.

Picked up a few cheap N64 games in Japan. Cost about £20 for six of them - probably wouldn't have found one of them for less than that in PAL - got Banjo-Tooie, Kirby 64, DK64, all 3 Mario Parties and Neon Genesis Evangelion 64. The latter is a graphics showcase but it plays like garbage.

Beat it last night. Game was utterly fantastic, glad the boring gunplay was kept to a minimum and the story went where it did. Still like 2 the most though.
