There was this big collector's edition of Majora's Mask. Very limited. I remember seeing them as prizes in magazine contests. http://img527.imageshack.us/i/zeldammkl0.jpg/ It includes a 72-hour wristwatch

Nintendo Holding a Conference- October 2nd
Miharu replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Here's hoping that with the SD card we could play Virtual Console games on DS, like with PSP you can play PS1 games downloaded from PS3. -
I'm disappointed that it's so completely similar to the previous games. I have both GC and DS versions but I never got really into them. To me collecting items, listening to same conversations from neighbours every day and plucking weeds out of the ground seems more like a chore (especially since it's in real time so weeds grow fast if you don't play) than my idea of having fun. I wish this game will be a bit different but that probably won't happen. Oh but I do appreciate Nintendo finally making a microphone for the Wii. Now, it will 100% certainly only work with friend codes but at least it's something.

I'd expect more Cider ports from EA for Mac. Epic promised Gears of War for Mac a long time ago, and nothing has been heard from it since, but that doesn't really belong to E3. If nothing else there's Spore which comes for Mac and PC at the same time. On the same disc too I think, at least the creature creator is a hybrid disc.

This is so true! Here in Finland there's no advertisement for the game, and Nintendo delivered only 50% of the promised amount to retailers (I know a guy who owns a game store). Hard to find the game from stores! And games like Harry Potter, The Simpsons and other EA games can be found everywhere.

Get Beyond Good & Evil!! It's a very Zelda-esque game. Pretty short though.

I played on a Wii for the first time yesterday...
Miharu replied to Wesley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I don't think you should buy the Wii unless there are games that interest you. I bought mine on launch with Zelda and Wii Play and I don't regret it at all, but I had over 6 months after the launch before I finally bought a new game for it, Pangya! Golf With Style, and I like it more than Wii Sports, but in the end it's a pretty simple game too. If you don't like games like Wii Sports of Wario Ware where you have to waggle around like a maniac, I wouldn't suggest the Wii for you There are much better single-player games on other consoles. -
Those reviews are probably right Yet another wiimake with worse controls than the original... Still I'm probably getting this to see all the extra crap (never got the PS2 version).
-
I would want to just choose one format, but since both formats get different movies which interest me, I have no choice but to get both players in the future Here's hoping one of the formats die...
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't most consoles gotten upgrades (even if they were minor) in the past? Same is going to happen to Wii too at some point.

In the games trailer, there is no blood...

do german versions of gc games have an english language option?
Miharu replied to urso's topic in General Gaming Discussion
You can change the language in Twilight Princess by changing the system language of your Gamecube. I.e. if you have your Cube set up in English, Twilight Princess will be in English. -
I just got Wiimail (the blue light) and it couldn't possibly be anything else than an update on Wii. It's 2.40 here so folks check out your Wii after 2.00 and you just might have the browser there.

I also noticed a shortage on certain Wii titles, especially Wii Play but I did get mine here in Finland from one store.

Okay, RF support is now gone which is a good thing. 60 hz support should be in every television bought in the last 10 or so years (or maybe even 15 years). Also a SCART connector. If you have a TV that only supports RF then you eventually have to upgrade to a proper TV seeing as Europe is moving away from analog TV signals so you'd have to have a digibox to watch any TV channel, and you need to have a SCART compatible TV to use those. 50 hz only and RF are obsolete technology, should Microsoft produce Windows XP for 15-year-old 66 MHz computers just because some people don't want to buy a newer computer?
-
Then how about VC games, in America they even support progressive scan, if they supported that here wouldn't it make the VC games show in 60 hz? That could be the saving grace for PAL VC...
-
This is utter bullshit. Why does Nintendo piss over their fans? With VC everyones first thoughts were this: "YEAH We're going to get those unreleased classics and old games better with RGB picture and 60 hz!". And now all that is ruined.

Weren't we promised some extras for the Cube version? According to gamefaqs board there's absolutely nothing new in this compared to the other versions... I'll get it for 360 then, was useless to wait But I'd like to support the Cube version by getting it. Oh dilemma!
-
I'm still missing some Cube games, but I think with the new generation here I might have to start collecting cube a few years later...
-
Nah, that has been scrapped. You can only use Wii on a TV. Except of course if you have some sort of VGA box that has RCA or S-Video input, but I don't think it's going to look too good. If Wii really supported VGA that'd be great, but no is a no.

I would like to queue for Wii on December 8th, but looks like I'm thinking I'll ask it as a birthday present from my parents. Christmas would then feel really special, and I'd have my whole family to show how the Wii works Any other day of the year they wouldn't care one bit.
-
Nintendo, why are you this stupid? You do realize us Europeans are just going to play roms now. We'll download Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasies, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG etc. and we're "happy". Your loss.
-
It says Sony PSX. I'm guessing: yes And damn that Wiimote is small. I didn't expect it to be that tiny! Can't wait to have my own...
-
You should have shown Ninja Gaiden Black, that's even better looking than Halo 2. And runs 60 FPS constantly. Yes I am a bit disappointed in some Wii games, but at least Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy look quite good. Remember that the best looking games of a console always come a few years after a console is launched. Most PS2 and Xbox titles didn't look that spectacular when those consoles launched.
