  1. One Album. One Movie. One Book.

yay for Ozu, but I prefer Early Summer Book: Anna Karenina Album: Pet Sounds also, what about favourite tv show? (Deadwood)
  2. Essential Programs

you can- download Tweak UI here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx heres my new one; vista skin, empty desktop
  4. Zelda: Twilight Princess

if anyone is still looking for this game, it is in stock at amazon.de and work in english, according to posters who answered my query...
  5. Battlestar Galactica. *SPOILARZ!*

having seen up to the midseason cliffhanger of season 3, I think the problem is that there are runs of brilliant episodes, interspersed by fillers which don't lead to anything and drag the show down. I wish they actually did shorter seasons of 10-12 eps so everything would advance the main story arc, with no need for fillers...
  6. Zelda: Twilight Princess

it was more when I left the town for hyrule field...
  7. Zelda: Twilight Princess

yeah, I was a bit disappointed when I first visited the future world in ocarina and saw how minor the changes were, but it would've been to much to create a radically different world back then. Guess I was spoiled by a link to the past...
  8. would anyone agree that this is one of the most overlooked games of the last generation? The mummy levels in particular were great. It's a pity it did so poorly, despite positive reviews, as I'm sure the sequel would have focused more on the mummy levels...
  9. its on channel4 p305 and p805 on itv1 digital
  10. I think its an example of "less is more"; because of the limitations imposed by teletext- no pics and limited word count- they have to put everything succinctly and to the point. Also they don't seem too close to developers, something I've always felt with IGN for example (also think IGNs reviews are terribly written- really poor standard of english)
  11. I think they're the best reviewers out there, anyone agree?
  12. F-Zero Wii (speculative)

GX is one of my favourite games, but I agree the attack option didn't really work- I think its because the analogue shoulder buttons couldn't be tapped twice in the same way as the N64 ones, so they had to map it to the X button The wii version should be controlled with just the remote, I think they should be able to make it work well, after all the remote is very sensitive. The attacks could be done with a quick flick in the direction of your opponent. Using the nunchuck adds unnecessary complexity, and I think the classic controller is a non-starter, I don't think they'll use it for any games, even smash bros, as it adds to consumer confusion...
  13. oh well, I just bought the american version from ebay, got it cheap as it had a damaged box. But at least anyone looking for TP now has a chance to get it from amazon.de
