  1. We all live in the same world, a friend is a friend, no matter the medium in which you conduct your relationship.
  2. For some added Nostalgia, i'll wear some rubber gloves when I play.
  3. I set up a new PSN tag as I couldn't remember the password for the other one. I am dubbed from hence forth "Jonington". I know there's a thread for gamertags but it's not been updated in about 24 years. Can the not annoying people post their tag so I can have some friends and not be a loner.
  4. Apart from sport games that no one here would play. I've completed the whole Uncharted series. Also finished Dragon Age and Final Fantasy XIII. Not much else to be fair.
  5. Hey Lovers. Not played my PS3 in ageeeeeessssssss. Decided to get back into, what games are all the uncool kids playing nowadays?
  6. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2267629/Eden-Hazard-ball-boy-row-new-footage-supports-Belgian-claim-kicked-ball.html I loathe to defend anything related to those scummy blues but it's embarassing the carry on this has caused. You can see he kicked the ball with minimum contact to the little wanker. Frankly, it's quite scary how many idiots have compared that to what Cantona did.
  7. So you're just choosing to gloss over the fact he plays in the best competition in football and only mentioning the domestic league he plays in? You're cherry picking St Mirren and leaving out Barcelona and Benfica to suit your argument. Quality of the SPL is garbage? Why do premier league clubs keep trying to buy our players then? 15 games is a decent amount for a 24 year old, that translates to about 3 full seasons in Europe, how is that bad exactly?
  8. The SPL is a credible league, I find the lack of respect for Celtic staggering, doesn't matter that they beat Barcelona, that they win away in Moscow, how did Sturridge fair in the Champions League? We're there because we deserve to be there and the whilst the SPL may not be the greatest league in the world, it's a hard league to play in physically. It's also a league that's helped nurture some very good players over the years. Anyways, you're a Liverpool fan, you can't use the word 'credible'.
  9. He scores goals everywhere he's been, be it Championship level, SPL or in the Champions League. He also settles at every club he's been at and isn't a disruption in the dressing room. He has a far higher work rate for his team and he misses far few chances than Sturridge. Doesn't matter what league you play in, the ball and the size of the goal are the same.
  10. I'm becoming addicted to Bones. Love the whole cast, especially Emily Deschanel. Her and the dude off Buffy make a good team and the whole show is bit different from the usual police procedural.
  11. He absolutely is. Not in question. Fergie can get to fuck, big Vic isn't heading there. Neil Lennon should recruit Liam Miller as part of his no campaign.

    Ice Hockey

Gamecenter is a lot worse than last year since blackout rules apply over here now due to Premier Sports deal, so quite a few games aren't available on Gamecenter.

Stayed up to watch the Pens last night, another good victory against a good side in their years. There's definitely not a team better set up to go the distance than Pittsburgh, obviously doesn't mean a thing but when you've got the two best players in the game, it certainly helps.
  14. There's a lot of debate as to whether natural talent truly exists. Most people believe 'natural talent' to be something you're born with but some experts will call that bullshit. There's nothing genetically different from one healthy baby to another that might make one a super sports men and the other a banker. Some will point to the most important thing being upbringing and how it's no coincidence that some of the great sportsmen were doing their thing from an early age, they also tended to work very hard from an early age. There's different ways of looking at it. Some will argue that more important than talent is the ability to work hard and have the mental strength to cope with disappointment that comes often with professional sport.
  15. Fucking dire first half yesterday, wasn't helped from some disgraceful decisions. Much better in the second half but it's becoming an all too familiar story of late.
  16. You mean Jeremy Lin? I do like my 'ball. Always kinda followed the Bulls since the days of Jordan, Rodman and Pippen, even through the times when they sucked majorily. Plus they have a British guy who is actually elite level in Luol Deng.
  17. Shit. There's not a team I detest more than the Ravens. Their potty mouth coach, that fucking tool Lewis, wannabe gangster Suggs and the whiney faced QB who wants to be payed like he's the best in the league. I do like Ray Rice though Up against another team I detest, the 49'ers. Their coach is a fucking tit too, must be something to do with the name Harbaugh. As for the game itself, very costly drop from Welker and some bad clock management cost the Pats. Ughh.
  18. Nah, always been a Pats man. Watching a game at Gillette Stadium when the snow is falling is a special sight.
  19. I'm a big NFL fan. I'm a Patriots man and have gigantic man crush on Tom Brady. Anyone play NFL fantasy football? I was runner up in my league
  20. Why would you expect him to be sorry? seriously, someone who has kept up that lie for so long is only coming clean because he has no other choice. I'm all for people crawling out of their rock in the sporting world to express their opinion but i roll my eyes when cyclists who also have been banned start having a go. The most disappointing for me is the lie he told to all the cancer sufferers, he truly was hero to them and to see that all disappear must be very painful. He's always been one of my sporting heroes and after defending him for so many years, it did upset me that it was all bollocks.
  21. Murray vs Djokovic final, Murray to win in 7 sets and 34 hours.
  22. No votes and not even a fucking birthday thread. Fuck you all to the moon.
  23. We'll call it a Celtic thing then
  24. That game summed up Theo Walcott perfectly. Big game, chips were down and we badly needed something from him. As expected he was no where to be seen, genuinely never seems remotely interested.
  25. The Irish tend to exercise in a different way. Their gym is a public house and their dumbbell a pint.
