  1. Accidentally clicked on the Nintendo board.
  2. I think it's his ability to throw himself to the floor in mere nano seconds the moment he senses an opposing players breath.
  3. That's seriously awesome @Retro_Link. The most spontaneous thing i've done today is closing my eyes whilst taking a leak. NO SPLASHES!
  4. Anything involving ligaments is not good. I tore my ACL when I was younger and it was 14 months of hell. Had to wait 3 weeks after doing it for the op to allow the swelling to go down. 10 weeks of allowing the ligament to heal, wearing a fucking annoying knee brace, doing absolutely nothing but watching daytime TV. Spent the next few months doing excruciating rehab. Having to learn how to walk again is a very sobering experience, it's one of the few things you always take for granted and all of a sudden your leg no longer knows how to do it. Took the best part of 16 months to get back into full physical activity, probably closer to 2 years to get fully comfortable with it and to get rid of the mental anguish everytime I went in for a tackle during football.
  5. I really hope not. I hope he works hard over the summer and comes back the player he was before his long injury. Vermaelen and Koscielny are my preferred partnership but the big cuddly giant is a decent alternative and it's hard to argue with our defensive record when he's partnered The Boss at the back.
  6. Can't really disagree with your Vermaelen vs Vertonghen view this season. Vermaelen at his best vs Vertonghen at his best, I'd still be taking Tommy V.
  7. Dwarf you wanker. I can't make tonight. I'm down for sometime over the weekend.
  8. I think people read too much into the name of the competition. I think it's suppose to signify the best teams in europe, not strictly only those who win their own league title.
  9. As a fan of a team who horde money like a Scouse OAP, it's nothing but jealousy Fuck the haters, i'd be spending the lot
  10. I do actually think Munich have a pretty sound financial model, but like with Man Utd in the EPL, they've benefited in a similar fashion in the Bundesliga.
  11. Really been nailing squats lately, hit 140kg yesterday. Felt I could have done more but didn't push it too far.
  12. I agree with your points in some regard flink about 4th place and the likes getting into the Champs. I don't agree with winning the FA cup being a valid entry method. Perhaps 20 years ago when it was taken seriously, not nowadays. You only have to look at recent winners to see that. At least the team finishing 4th has sustained some sort of form against the better sides during the league season, can't say the same for winning the FA Cup. That said, it'll never be an even playing field when you've got teams like Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Madrid, Bayern and Barca throwing money around for fun. I truly hope one day we will see some sort financial parity instituted correctly.
  13. The crowd wouldn't have made a difference, especially if they'd been mistaken with what the score was.... That wouldn't affect the players. I know from playing myself that all you do is worry about what you can control, you worry about the rest afterwards. Arsenal were always under pressure to score, regardless if you lot were 6-0 up inside 15 minutes. The fact you lot hadn't score wasn't relevant, as you could have scored at anytime. Arsenal were never going to be safe with a draw.
  14. I think the whole Idea with Laurel becoming Black Canary is time. Would hardy make much sense if they're saying it took Oliver 5 years on a (mostly) deserted island to become who he is, yet Laurel becomes a bad ass in the space of a season.
  15. That's stop all this bollocks about Spurs having had 14 pens making a difference, It wouldn't have. It may have made the Arsenal fans nervous, it wouldn't have affected the players, they'd have been none the wiser. Arsenal didn't care about the Spurs game, it was always in the players hands, nothing happening hundreds of miles away would have changed that.
  16. An Earthquake would be a bit mundane by Shonda's standards. What about an alien invasion?
  17. Although it's a different sort of show from ER, you never got the sense; even after 15 seasons that ER was just doing things for the sake of it. What else can Shonda pull out her ass to end a season. She's making Seattle out to be Helmand Province.
  18. The next few months will dictate whether Wenger is here for another contract I really hope all this rumblings about us acquiring some world class talent is actually true. We've got one of the best defences in the league, which people seem to constantly bash, not too shabby when we've gone through 3 different keepers this season. I'd love to see Wenger shift Tommy V to defensive mid. Position is absolutely tailored made for him. Getting rid of the dead wood is absolutely essential. The whole squad certainly doesn't require a rebuild, just a bit of cut and paste Gareth Bale ran us close in the end, but there's a reason we've never finished below them and it showed as it usually does.
  19. Haha yes. White Hart Lane would be epic.
  20. How exactly do they not have a place in it? Can't think of another team as a better example of spending massively and achieving nothing. To listen to you, Liverpool is all I ever speak off. Get a grip.
  21. I'm guessing it was Manchester City FC. Liverpool are an even better example. Spend ridiculously and not only winning nothing but not even coming close to winning anything.
  22. Expensive doesn't correlate to success, especially when you paying stupid amounts for players like Lescott, Milner, Sinclair, Clichy, Garcia and Barry. I can't fault Mancini's record but his man management is awful and it's not exactly prudent to continually call out your owners in every interview you do.
  23. Been following it a bit. Bulls doing quite well to hang with the Heat. What a series it would be if D. Rose was playing. Don't really follow one team I always look out for the Nicks and Bulls results.
  24. Loved it. So many little and obvious nods to TOS. Far better than the first one in my view and Benedict Cumberbatch is very good as the villain.
  25. The common denominator with those three sides?
