  1. It's most likely just a ploy to get Madrid to stop fucking about with Higuain, if it's actually true at all.
  2. I wonder what the market value for Suarez is? obviously a very gifted player but it would be reduced in account of him being a total psycho.
  3. Well, if you look at what Wiggins did to become a knight, then yes. It's hard to compare the different sports but British Grand Slam champions aren't exactly a plenty, let alone multiple ones. Not forgetting about the Olympic Gold as well.
  4. I really don't want to wear those ghey gloves people do when lifting but the grip is a bit of a problem when deadlifting at heavier weights. Think i'll soldier on
  5. So pumped for the match tomorrow. I've been re-watching some of their many matches over the years in anticipation. Obviously I want Murray to win but above all I'd just love to see another classic like they've produced on so many occasions. When these two play nowadays, the winner tends to be the one who can still walk. Exaggeration of course but they're mirror image of each other in the way that they play the game, very few cheap points because they return so well and they're both so physically fit.
  6. That match summed up why I hate Women's Tennis. I've seen that happen so often in Women Grand Slam finals. The nerves get to them and they can't perform anywhere near where they've been previously.
  7. On the roof front. With it hard to predict just how long the light will last, it's. lot fairer to both players to close it the beginning of the set when both players are level. It would have kicked up hell if they closed it as someone hard to serve to stay in the set/match.
  8. I'm the first to call Murray British not Scottish. Much like him, I'm proud to be both. Anyway, I think Lendl has worked wonder with Murray and the mental aspect of the game. He very rarely loses the plot nowadays. I don't think you want him to lose that entirely, i do like a bit of emotion now and again, not full time robotic mode.
  9. Gasquet vs Murray at the French, Tomic vs Murray at Adelaide. 2 matches that immediately spring to mind involving Murray that featured crowds against him. The only person making an issue of this seems to be you. Verdasco hasn't complained about it, Youzhny in last round made a point in saying how good the crowd were.
  10. Rubbish. Verdasco is a former world no 7 who's been in grand slam semis, he isn't some rookie. It's Murray's home tournament, every players he faces knows they're going to be up against it, as Murray is when he plays French players at Roland Garros. It was hardly anything earth shattering, I've seen Murray involved in far noisier matches at Wimbledon. There was plenty of cheering for Verdasco as well. Every player swears, it only more noticeable for Murray because he does it in English. How can any of that affect your enjoyment of the match, it's about the Tennis not the sideshow that goes with it.
  11. You clearly don't remember many of his QF's from a few years back. The majority were titanic struggles.
  12. It's okay Moogle, I'll let you have the next one.
  13. I'd concentrate more on unbuttoning something else. AMIRITE?!
  14. Not surprised really. Spain's cavalier attitude to defending was always going to bite them on the arse eventually. Nigeria could have beaten in the round matches if they were capable of finishing, Italy should have beaten them too in the Semis. They're going to be exposed against the best teams if they don't sort that out.
  15. The system is broken. Unfortunately there isn't a system that works. Human kind is flawed. We seem to live in a society today of lawsuits. "If I can't get what I want/I don't like something, i'll just go to the courts". People no longer seem to be able to hear no for an answer. It's only going to worse with newer generations brought up with no real experience of struggle and hardship, discipline is non existent, political correctness has driven the world crazy. We are all fucked. It started when they canned The Bill. Big mistake.
  16. Good win for Robson but settle down British Media, she isn't number 1 in the world quite yet.
  17. I tend to it the other way round, football on a Sunday night, leg day on the Monday.
  18. Nadal couldn't run properly, hope he's not done something serious. Perhaps he's going to have to manage his schedule from now on to better look after his knees. As much as Wimbledon means, the grass court season only encompasses 4 weeks.
  19. I think it'll be effortless for Federer until he reaches the QF. I really cannot see anyway he makes it through the possible combination of Nadal, Murray and Djokovic to win the title. There's no way those matches go in straight sets, he could possibly go through Nadal but he'll get destroyed by Murray by that point. He's shown in recent years his inability to beat the absolute best in back to back occasions. I can't really think of a time he's won a grand slam having to go through the other top 3 guys himself. Nadal is a bit of a wildcard. Clay aside, i'm not sure how Nadal will stack up against the top guys on grass but i'd never right him off, he's such a competitor. Djokovic has a great draw and is probably the favourite but his results on Grass haven't been that great since he last won Wimbledon. I think Murray is probably just behind Djokovic due to his draw. That said he had a similar draw at the Olympics and he steamrolled Djokovic in the semis before destroying Federer in the final. He made the final last year and he's now all the experience of winning the Olympics on the same court and winning that first grand slam. With all that said, it's still a bit of a crapshoot when the top guys play each other, they can all beat each other on any given day. Should make for some great tennis!
  20. The best way to set up for dragging along the shins is to have the bar just past the middle of your feet and then bend your legs until your shins hit the bar and then lower straight down. In my experience, dragging the bar isn't essential. In fact, it cause a lot of pain at heavier weights and cuts you up pretty badly. If you're form is decent, the bar won't be too far away anyway. I always just concentrate on keeping my back straight. I was deadlifting this morning and so many people rounding their back, absolutely not the way to do it.
  21. Pretty sure I got a few pictures in that exact spot. That model is beyond phenomenal.
  22. She does when Chris Brown is around. Ahahahahahaha.
  23. The time seemed to go by so quickly, he genuinely didn't want to leave the stage. Top notch.
  24. Whether you like his music or not, Springsteen is an absolutele icon. Man just never wants to come off the stage, he's just an endless array of energy. Definitely the best best gig i've ever seen, whether was phenomenal, which is rare occurrence for Hampden. Set list was pretty decent, few tracks i'd like to have heard but you're never going to please everyone with the back catalogue he has. Got a little bit of Born to Run record below, not very good quality but whatevs.
