  1. You are all so right about the Hub world. And Wii Motion Plus? I can't really see Galaxy 2 needing that, the motion controls were fine for what they were, spinning and pointing. No Baby Bowser. Perhaps a return of the hat stealing monkey from Super Mario 64? I don't know why I found that monkey so funny :P a mushroom kingdom level featuring Princess Peaches castle
  2. Totally agree with the hub world! Super Mario 64 was brilliant with the castle - Fun but easy to navigate and find levels. And Isle Delfino was plain awesome. Galaxy had such an annoying hub though and I found it especially annoying going all the way to the top for the Garden levels.
  3. a NES themed level would be intense, and i've thought it ever since I came across this amazing picture: imagine that as a galaxy level <3
  4. most N64 games from 2000 onwards seem pretty rare but that is an intensely vague statement :P Google is probably your best friend on this one and check out some games on eBay to get an idea of what they're going for
  5. i cant wait to play this online and im just curious, does Wii Speak work with random matches or only between friends?
  6. Man in the Mirror is one of my favourites, its a brilliant song.
  7. I always use the Wii Wheel, I find its the best way. Its responsive and the easiest way to pull off tricks.
  8. Unreliable controls? What the fuck, I can't see a single fault with the controls. They just don't know what a fun game is unless it has blood in it.
  9. Activision churn out shit, so no big loss. I have one game by them - Guitar hero 3, and although most people I know seem to love it, I can't bare it. I find it boring and shallow with the only saving grace being the good track list. Let them do what they want.
  10. I really want a new Donkey Kong game. The first and last full 3D DK game was Donkey Kong 64 and whilst a lot of people claimed they didn't like it, it must be one of my favourite plat formers. I'm not sure who would develop it though as a Donkey Kong game in my eyes is only properly done by the amazing Rareware who are indeed, not that amazing anymore. But like Retro_Link said, what happened to Nintendo just making them anyway?! Oh yes, far too busy on New Super Mario Bros. Wii :P
  11. I'm 17 and in under a month I will be an 18 year old and actually I feel like an adult. I can be both immature and mature. I'm immature in the sense that I can still laugh over someone farting and love to play videogames yet im very mature in the way that i see things and life itself. I think a few things that have happened in the last few years have perhaps made me grow up faster than I once would have and have made me more wise about things but in a way that's worked to my advantage as a few years ago I couldn't see myself ever growing up. I'm not quite sure where my life is heading right now but through a sudden wave of inspiration i'm feeling rather optimistic at the moment. So yeah, I'm actually feeling quite grown up yet im still very childish and in a way i'm quite glad as I wouldn't ever want to lose my childish side. I tend to be the one people turn to when they have a problem, im often diffusing situations and being the one who gives out the advice and im pretty surprised as i thought i would never grow mature enough to do those things.
  12. Mums play Wii now, and so this shit will probably sell a little bit. The simple thing is, just ignore it, they aren't forcing you to buy it after all. I know most games on the shelves are shovel ware now, I work at Morrisons and there must have been 4 or 5 fitness games in the top 10. But atleast there are Wii games in those kinds of stores, as if I remember correctly, this far into the Gamecube's life, most general stores didn't even have Nintendo games.
  13. Im using my limited edition box from Atari, when they sent me a rather uber Tshirt - i was one of the one thousand people to have it, oh yes! And the box is better than the LETS TAP! one
  14. I got my copy of the game on friday! It's so much fun, the graphics and the music are all so awesome although I would say it's more of a casual, 'play it in short bursts' kind of thing - But then I guess that's kind of obvious :P My favourite game is Rhythm Tap! Mainly because I can play the amazing theme tune and because I loved the Donkey Konga games. For £15 you should all get it, a fun and unique game like this deserves to have good sales and compared to all the other mini game compilations out there, this is high above the rest.
  15. I've sent an article! I'm pretty excited I'm thinking my article may have been a bit short though? Might write another soon but don't want to look too needy ;P
  16. Im so excited now, I loved donkey konga and really wanted a sequel so this will do fine
  17. metroid prime. I hated FINDING everything, always getting lost and it just seemed boring. Far too confusing.
  18. so the film was meant to be corny, generic and with an obvious twist at the end. Wheres the logic?!
  19. emotions running rather high today as its the 'final show' Ive been doing art at college for 2 years and so now we have the public come in and view our work, theres a cat walk and all that jazz. But it also means its the last time we will all be together so nostalgia is sure to kick in. I cant wait for it though, it shall be rather epic
  20. Yeah its official release date is tomorrow Not sure if I can get it then but I will definatly be picking it up soon, I love the look of this game and the theme tune, oh it's just amazing =D I hope this game sells well over here.
  21. im actually quite excited for wii sports resort now and cant wait to see what wii motion plus is going to be like. Im sort of worried about the lack of games supporting it but im going to get motion plus anyway because I want to see how accurate it is.
  22. yeah man, just go into options and you will see it there, his japanese voice brings back so many childhood memories and yeah, the english voices are just terrible. And it gets really quite hard near the end, well it did for me anyway
  23. i got this a few days ago and have completed it and i must say its a brilliant game thats just bursting with charm. Naturally I put the original japanese voices on (as the english voice was totally ruining Klonoa as a character for me and made him seem like some moronic Sonic character). Its got great gameplay and i really like the style, the colourfulness and winding paths, its great. The characters are loveable and I would suggest this game to anyone
