  1. Limited edition announced. Sadly it's being made by Limited Run Games.
  2. I see another PS1 game has been given a trophy update. Herc's Adventure recently got a patch that added them. Still hoping Tekken 2, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Resident Evil adds them at some point.
  3. @darksnowman I see each of these offer 100 platinum coins each just to load them up. Guess I'll be downloading them after all.
  4. Kingdom Hearts had great sequels and a fantastic prequel. Birth by Sleep is regarded by many as the best in the series. I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy XIII-2 as well. Interesting story (love me some time travel shenanigans) and amazing battle system. IMO, Neo TWEWY is garbage in comparison to the examples I have given.
  5. Standard practice for anything Level 5 related at this point.
  6. Cassette Beasts is the only one out of those that I'm interested in but I've heard it runs like garbage on the Switch and so will probably just give it a miss. Saying that, I haven't checked the state of it in a while and so it may have been improved since launch.
  7. I quite enjoyed it. I played it a few years ago when I went on a platinum/Ratalaika binge.
  8. I respect the Vita getting some love in 2024. Vita means life!
  9. Earned a few platinums this weekend. I didn't realise the PS5 version had a semi auto pop. I had to play through most of the main missions again but it was a breeze thanks to being able to carry over my character from the PS4 version. Was a bit fiddly going from Rise of the Ronin back to this. I wish developers would standardise control methods. I played through this last year and it was in my Double Platinum section on my PS5. With it being removed from PS+ next week, my hand was forced to get it played again. Fun and light experience, especially seeing as I remember a lot from previously playing it. Bit of a weird one this. There's a lot to like about it. Music, art style, combat and boss encounters are all great. However, the game really needs a map to keep track of where you've been. Not having one available means it's easy to get lost and it requires a lot of memorisation. My main complaint is how unstable the game can be. I had 5 or so hard crashes that caused me to restart the game and go back to my nearest checkpoint. The times this happened was frustrating but I just got on with it. What was unforgivable though was a major bug occurring about 10 minutes before I finished the game that caused me to lose all my progress and making me start from scratch. I was furious. Apparently it's a bug a fair few gamers have encountered but nothing has ever been done about it. A few people have reached out to the developers about this issue but never got any word back from them. Ignorant gits. Another problem was the games visuals. Characters and actions were animated really well but for some reason the game caused my eyes to go bloodshot every time I played it. In all my years of gaming I've never had this happen before. I'm assuming it had something to do with the constant flashing colours, which they warn about before the game starts. For me, if you know that these flashes are causing issues so much that you need to give a warning, either don't put them in or allow the player to disable them. So, yeah, overall a very mixed bag. As I said, there's a lot to like but there are some major problems with the game that could have been sorted to make it a much better experience.
  10. Crazy. I think I paid £39.99 when it released on the PS4.
  11. The Sekiro comparison is mainly due to the combat. You can hack and slash your way to victory but it's much quicker if you learn the timings of attacks and then counter to bring down the enemy stamina bar. These leaves them wide open for you to inflict a stupid amount of damage, especially if you are using a handgun/pistol as a secondary weapon.
  12. The next couple of months is looking pretty stacked.
  13. Not a bad game but I'm still a little confused why it was made. It's essentially Ghost of Tsushima, Assassin's Creed, Nioh and Sekiro all rolled into one. The problem with this is that it takes from each of these games but doesn't improve or excel in anything that has inspired it. It's still a decent game but it's a very by the numbers experience. It's very easy to see why it didn't set the charts on fire and why there has been very little chatter since it was released.
  14. Better time. I'll give it a watch once I get home.
  15. Now that the forum is upgraded, I think now will be a good time to see if the ignore feature works.
  16. I've been making my way through this video over the past week and finally finished last night. Their output on the PS1 was insane. A lot of the games were top tier stuff and most of them still hold up even to this day. Of course the problem with watching something like this is that it always sends me down a retro rabbit hole over on eBay. Good viewing but bad for my wallet.
  17. With how Halo Infinite was received, I'd would think that would be on the cards. It would certainly give the multiplayer a big boost in players.
  18. Big, if true. I can see it selling great on the PlayStation. It will serve the GT audience very well.
  19. Trophies may be on the cards for Timesplitters.
  20. No word about trophies. They are only guaranteed when its a 1st party game. Be great if they add them though.
  21. Happy with Cult of the Lamb being added. It's been on my wishlist for a while. Of course Wild Hearts is added after @drahkon got an EA sub to play it. All 3 of the Timesplitters games at the same time is a little nuts.
