  1. Did all 80 levels and best the secret boss. Is there something else after that because I don't want to have to reinstall the game again.
  2. All done. Great fun but not half as challenging as many make it out to be. A lot of the stages on Splatoon 3 are tougher than what's on offer here. I guess with me playing through that first, it prepared me for this. Both campaigns of Splatoon 2 and 3 were amazing and some of the best platforming and level design that Nintendo have done in recent years. I'd argue that a lot of the time they surpass the stages in Mario Odyssey. Bring on Splatoon 4 for Switch 2.
  3. Absolutely ridiculous the way this has been handled. Other than Edge, are there any big gaming magazines left?
  4. Nintendo will be wanting that PS2 record. Announce the Switch 2, price cut the original Switch and that will be job done.
  5. That's what I'm hoping for. I've done everything I can on Fire Emblem Heroes that dishes out points and so I need such events to keep me topped up.
  6. Nintendo have released updated sales numbers for the Switch and its software.
  7. Nintendo has started a new promotion which spreads over the coming weeks. No word yet on what the games are though.
  8. Lies. The game is too much for you, isn't it? I enjoyed my time with it back on the Xbox One. I've been meaning to pick it up on the PS4 for a while now.
  9. I do think it was just more of a wear and tear issue with mine. They took some hammering over the years. Many a FromSoftware game were played on them.
  10. More like Mr. Idiot/Mr. Stubborn.
  11. It's not too bad. I've had the console since a couple of weeks after launch and it's only happened to me twice. I went through the same amount of PS4 controllers as well but then they had far more use than what my Joycons have had. My biggest issue is just how expensive they are to replace. It's another classic Nintendo thing of never dropping the prices. A couple of years ago I got an extra DualSense and Horizon Forbidden West for £40 during a Days of Play sale. You would never get that kind of deal from Nintendo.
  12. I'll probably pay the £60.
  13. I would but I've read stories of people getting other people's Joycons back and not their originals (things like casing was scratched). I take good care of my stuff and don't want to end up with someone else's Joycons.
  14. I was playing on my Switch yesterday evening and my left Joycon has started to drift pretty badly. That's the second lot this has happened to. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy yet another set, which is pretty annoying given that the Switch is at the end of its life and also that the Joycons haven't really come down in price. I mean, the tech in them must be dirt cheap at this point but they still £60. I have a Pro Controller that I use for when playing on the TV but playing it in handheld mode just isn't an option now thanks to the drift.
  15. Instead of going to bed like a normal person who has work in the morning should, I decided to crank out one more platinum for July. I played a couple of the other Cotton games earlier in the year and have been waiting for the others to go on sale. All 4 of them were reduced in price and so I picked up Cotton 2: Saturn Tribute. This was the version of the game I always seen in import shops for the Sega Saturn, when I was younger. Cotton Fantasy is still my favourite of the ones I've played but this one was still fun, if a little short. It was nice to finally get to play it though.
  16. By all accounts, the 155 people being absorbed into Sony would have lost their jobs if not for that move. Bungie's CEO... Apparently he was walking around bragging how many cars he owns and then gets rid of a lot of his staff. Classy move. Yeah, I still don't know where Bungie fits within Sony. However, when the deal was made for them to be bought they were given a timeframe to get everything in order and be profitable otherwise Sony would absorb them. Destiny hasn't been a cashcow for years and yet they continued to pump resources into it. There was no way Bungie was going to keep it's independence within Sony by following that route. Time has basically ran out for them.
  17. @drahkon and @Julius do you want a quick (10 mins) and easy platinum? Just download the free game Puzzle Drop Carnival. Heard about it over on PSNProfiles.
  18. @drahkon is always complaining about the lack of Star Wars games so this should please him. Happy with Ender Lilies being part of it. Its been on my wishlist for while.
  19. Bungie are laying off a lot of their staff.
  20. Yeah, I don't think I would have been able to manage if it wasn't for the rewind feature.
