Thought you would have been done and dusted with it now. Surely your over levelled party are just burning through the missions at this point? -
Success! Final run through the game required me to kill every enemy, smash all of the breakable floors and die all 36 ways that the game allows. This is another game where the trophies gave me a lot more game time (50 hours) than I would normally spend with something like this. I think I went through the game 4 times in order to achieve the platinum. Kinda reminded me of various Resident Evil games trophy lists. By the end of it all you know the game inside and out, just like what I now do with this game. Platinum achieved but the DLC that comes with the collection is now to be tackled. I've never played this before and so I will be going in with fresh eyes.

USA Election 2024: Harris Vs Trump

Biden has finally stepped aside. -
Halfway through the second season now and I don't think it's as good as the first. It lacks the raw energy and intensity that was is the first season. The story is a bit disjointed as well, with all the characters off doing their own thing. Doesn't feel as intimate.

Started season 2 of The Bear...Richie checking for mold.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Switch: 11th November 2021)
Hero-of-Time replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Haha. I remember that being a thing in the early 2000s. At the place I was working at the time, we all done it and spent the week calling each other our Star Wars names. I loved KOTOR when I played it on the original Xbox but looking at it now it looks very clunky. It's why I never bought it on the Switch and was looking forward to the remake. It feels like a game that is best kept in my memories rather than replaying it. -
Another week, another playthrough completed. New Game+ was no joke and it certainly took a lot longer than what my final statistics are showing, thanks to all the deaths and reloads that occurred. Not having the safety net of being able to save anywhere really adds to the tension. I completed this back on the PS1 and so I'm no stranger to the crystal saving system but having the environment and enemies hit harder than usual, as well as the inability to use medipacks, meant I was having to replay sections a lot of times. Still, I enjoyed the challenge of it all. Just one more playthrough left...

This was just announced and dropped (Steam release out now, others next week) at this year's EVO. I definitely played this either on the PS2 or Xbox but I can't remember a thing about it other than being able to play as Zero.

Finished the 1st season of The Bear. Good stuff. I think episode 7 was my favourite due to how chaotic and angry it was. Ending Spoilers... By the end of the series I was starting to come around the Richie. He's a bit of a tragic character, trying to hang on to the past and also being left behind by everyone else in the kitchen.

Just finished episode 4. The Xanax incident.... Definitely didn't play out like I thought it was gonna.

Watched the first 2 episodes of The Bear, @drahkon. Richie is an absolute douche. Don't care for him one bit. The cigarettes at the end of the second episode...

Given the name of the game, hilarious platinum title. The game wasn't as good as I remember it being. It's still decent but it's easily the worst in the franchise, that's if you don't count Secret Agent Clank. Although I'm still hoping that appears on the service at some point. @drahkon If you are wanting to play one of them at some point, Daxter is definitely the better of the two games. -
I had a feeling there may have been some spoilers and so avoided watching it, especially this close to release. Marvel has a habit of doing this with their trailers.

Any major aspect of gaming that just... passed you by?

The early Smackdown! games were awesome but I still feel that both No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 were the better games. Both series play so differently to each other though. The N64 games were slower and more methodical, whereas the Smackdown! series was faster paced. Loved them both. 🥰 -

I just can't bring myself to do that. Just don't trust the stuff. Businesses that refuse cash simply don't get my business. Boils my blood when you go into a shop and they only accept digital payments. It's legal tender! I feel sorry for elderly people who don't keep up with tech and get turned away because they can't pay with cash or can't get a discount because they don't have an app. -

I've always got a couple on notes in my wallet and coins in the car. You often hear about people forgetting their pin numbers and it doesn't surprise me when most just tap their cards or use their phones to pay. -

Serious question, do people just not carry cash around with them anymore? -

Yeah, just been talking about it at work. It's crazy to me as a society just how reliant most places have now become on technology or an internet connection. A crash in the system here or a cut wire there and the whole system collapses. Crazy. -
This is pretty much Chibi-Robo in everything but name. Hopefully it does well. There are more details over at Gematsu. https://www.gematsu.com/2024/07/former-chibi-robo-developers-announce-robot-action-adventure-game-korobo-for-consoles-pc
