I remember Smugglers Run being bitch-hard. If you failed to coax the AI into a tree or an exploit, they were absolutely ruthless. May well have been a case of rubber banding.

From playing on my uni neighbour's 360, the BF3 conquest maps are way too large for a 24-man populace. Rush is far more exciting. Edit: but you're on PC. Lol.

Was about to thread this, looks very interesting! Of course it isn't clear how the mechanics are going to work yet but there's potential for some pretty sweet ideas. I'm thinking detailed vistas and puzzles that punish you for over-painting. The horror aspect has me pumped.

I agree with the pace being the main issue. Personally I would've fielded Young, Carrick, Cleverley and Valencia. You're giving Rooney too much to do against a back four as solid as theirs. We need another Tevez or a striker of his ilk to partner Rooney next season, and perhaps a strong and pacey centre mid. Zero creativity or hunger today.

I've never owned a Cod game but I usually have some interest in borrowing them for multiplayer. If nothing else it's interesting to see how FPS' are trending. I found Black Ops to be really enjoyable online: solid maps, interesting inventory additions, well balanced weapons and importantly it numbed the potency of kill streaks. MW3's online effort was an abomination by comparison. I'm yet to play Battlefield 3. The footage makes me drool.

Vengeance and Redemption, the two most clichéd and irritating subtitles in ze industry. Their seeming interchangeability does maketh one frown.

The ammo count is a Goldeneye reference although perhaps not the best option.

I can see why they might reduce G-Mal stopping power, but by 50%? Wouldn't you be better off running around with a watering can?
