  1. To use counter measures you have to shakes the 'mote, when "deploy flares" starts flashing at you. And personally I prefer air-ground missiles. Bombs I mostly use for stuff like boat clusters. Still trying to get a grasp of torpedoes though.
  2. I wish somebody would throw Martha's character a bone. When asked for her opinion she may as well have just shrugged her shoulders and fallen down the nearest man hole. The lassie's a medical student for petes sake. Otherwise, pretty good stuff again. I'll wait to see how this whole dalek-man story pans out before passing judgement. I'd love to see more of the conflict between the Daleks.
  3. It's grey, blustery and peppered with intermittent drissle where I am. Boo.
  4. He also did Shaolin Soccer (Kung Fu Hustle was his follow up). I've only watch the first 40 minutes of that too, must get back to it sometime. I don't think it's quite as good as Kung Fu Hustle, but definitely worth a look.
  5. Let us however not forget the harsh lessons learned from the global catastrophe that was George Clooney and his rubber nipples. Twas a dark time. An evil time. A time when all our gods had abandoned us and left mankind alone to stare, transfixed, at the unspeakable horror of his own creation. And then the screaming started...
  6. Kung Fu Hustle High class and stylish kung-fu action comedy that will leave you giggling like a school girl. Includes top hats. 8/10
  7. Shame. Get it on DVD anyway, you won't regret it.
  8. Vanilla Sky Tom Cruise is on good form in this odd and sensual sci-fi. A dreamy and sometimes dark romance set to a Sigur Ros soundtrack. 8/10
  9. This is probably worth watching for the most be-muscled 12 year old lad ever.
  10. Be sure to set a variety of hilariously ingenious traps around the house for when the TV license people come knocking.
  11. Ayup, will be catching this. I've seen about the first hour or so, but I have yet to watch all the way full. Cracking film from what I saw of it though.
  12. Prediction: At some point someone will suggest that Spiderman could be "Hollywood's James Bond" literally scant seconds before worldwide audiences loose interest and the whole franchise turns to shit. Just you wait.
  13. Just to clarify, NGamer (unlike ONM) didn't actually claim they had an exclusive. They just said it was going to be big. Well, they weren't wrong.
  14. Belleville Rendezvous Simply astounding. Perfect in every way. Breathtaking. 10/10 Rush Hour Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker join forces to fight their respective villainous clichés. Fun. 7/10 Casino Royale Daniel Craig gets naked. Best Bond film since Goldeneye. 9/10
  15. Whoo! Happy Birthday H-dude!
  16. You know what? I will look forward to the SE party in May. Why not indeed? Tantalisingly so.
  17. I see Umbrella Chronicles as one of these "Weskers Report"-type fan service exercises where they go over all the series plot-holes and try and fill in the gaps a little. Still, it's looking good.
  18. I like it personally, gives the whole thing a little extra bit of an action movie feel to the whole thing.
  19. That's much better from retail. Why on earth did they wait until after to at least make it not look like ass?
  20. Have a nice Birthday dude!
  21. Jesus, Jeremy Vine really pisses me off sometimes.

  23. Viper's 22 now? Well Happy Birthday!
  24. Whup, looks like the "violent-video games" witch hunt is already starting to take shape. You'd think the fact he was able to purchase lethal fire arms despite being a known sufferer of mental health problems including severe depression might play a part in all of this but apparently not. Twas Counter Strike that killed those kids.
  25. It's not a must have but I'd certainly recommend it, a good thick slab of pacey, explosion filled hoo-hah to be sure. The flying itself actually works magnificently well with the Wiimote, so you can take this as a promising indication of things to come.
