  1. Yeah, I figured. I was wondering if should get the 2TB option or a slightly faster 7200rpm 1TB but sounds like I'm gonna want the space sooner or later.
  2. Quick question, how much of a limitation are you guys finding the PS4s stock 500-gig hard drive? Springing for a PS4 soonish and contemplating an upgrade for it.
  3. I'm currently in a similar situation to Flinky with Parcel Force *shudders*. Apparently the sender didn't put the flat number on the package but since there's only four flats in the building I can't help but feel they could've tried harder. Got another email today saying they re-attempted delivery at 2pm but they definitely didn't buzz up. Can't help but suspect they found they couldn't park easily and didn't even bother. Filled the online form to have it sent to a nearby post office nut no confirmation text or anything, it's just such a poor system all round. You know I hear a lot of smack about Talk-Talk but we used them for years and my mum still uses them in her flat and we've literally never had a serious problem. Solid internet, solid customer service and all.
  4. I think it's a really interesting project. Remains to be seen if it's a concept that'll sustain itself over time though.
  5. The masters of the Hollow Earth have trained him well. Thought Nicola Sturgeon came out very strong. All the women did really. As a prospective Green I think Natalie B could've afforded herself some bigger punches but I feel like she, Nicola and Leanne Wood had more sincerity to offer then the big four.
  6. I'm really looking forward to the 200cc mode, it's exactly the sort of thing I've been wanting to see a kart game. Still want a new F-Zero though. Nintendo's DLC is surprisingly actually pretty good across the board so far in it's content/price ratio. It's a breath of fresh air compared to CoD-esque £10 for four maps on day-1.
  7. Impa, godammit her time is due.
  8. Thank goodness we had a good race after the previous round's damp squib. If this is where Ferrari are at this point I can't see why the shouldn't be able to compete in a good chunk of the races coming up.
  9. Nah, I've let my sub slip by for now. I love Eve to death and had huge fun with it for the three months or so but but I just wasn't playing it enough to justify the fee. I'll probably re-sub for a few months again in the future, BRAVE are pretty cool about people coming and going like that.
  10. I'd be all over this if my laptop could deal. One day...
  11. I don't know. I love me some X-files but it was such a product of it's time. Them late 90's cellphones.
  12. It's a sign of the times. Difficult not to feel platform-specific gaming is on the way out with Steamboxes and cheap PC gaming and mobile gaming swelling around our feet. I can live with it though. Official Pokemon games on apple & android devices, just think about it.
  13. I love it when F1 gets weird because when F1 gets weird F1 gets really weird. Some good battles this race around, not a stunner, hopefully more cars to look at next race. Also was not expecting a wild Arnie to appear. I hope they get Sylvester Stallone for the next podium.
  14. We've lost a great name in literature: The legendary fantasy author Terry Pratchett has passed away aged 66 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. RIP. http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31858156
  15. Recently caught Whiplash. JK Simmons deserved that Oscar. Really liked Big Hero 6 though not as much as I wanted to. It feels like there are people at Disney with big bold ideas that are still getting blunted a little at committee. For the future: I missed seeing Alien on the big screen for Halloween. I'm not even the biggest Blade Runner fan in the world but if I will strangle somebody on top of an apartment block. Also because kids movies is basically how I medicate myself.
  16. I love me some Top Gear but Jezza's been pushing his luck (and the boundaries of taste) for years now. Racial and nationalistic stereotyping should be a no-no, threat of assault is definitely a no-no. If I was in charge I would have fired him already and begun tendering ideas for a start-over. I'm thinking something in a Ghostbusters-esque female lineup.
  17. This is why I can't be bothered with complaints about a game's length - I'll happily pay full wack for a 5-hour campaign if it's five hours worth playing (which this apparently isn't). I don't think anyone of us have ever played a bad or middling game and wished it was longer.
  18. So I've not been really wrapping my head around Evolve up until now but after the GB quicklook this actually looks like my kind of fun?
  19. I don't suppose there's any chance they'll finally pull their fingers out and put PSO2 in the west officially?
  20. I really like Kristen Wiig and Melissa and, honestly, if was just Bridesmaids with proton packs I'd probably go and see it. I'm just glad they're trying a new direction and not resuscitating Bill Murray's eyebrows like they originally planned.
  21. Apparently the fucking T-virus or something is going around town and a chunk of our staff is sick (one hospitalized) so I'm effectively covering for three people until further notice. My last day off was Thursday and my next one likely won't be until at least sometime next week. I spent an 11 hour shift on my feet yesterday and it's 8+ hour shifts all either starting at 6am or ending at 10pm for the foreseeable future. I was looking forward to going to my karate class tonight but I'm so tired I can barely walk. Should've napped. Oi.
  22. How is that bad boy? I've considering investing in that or a similar model.
  23. To be honest I'm slightly baffled there's a version of this coming for WiiU. Who's going to buy it on that system? I love my WiiU to death but most of the racing I want to do on it involves turtle shells and (hopefully, one day) zero-friction. If this is decent it'll be a must have for my 2nd console though.
  24. One of my dad's cats died after a full happy life yesterday, a lovely intelligent little black cat called Louie. I was there when they adopted him as a teeny tiny kitten with his life-long BFF Rollie, so now I am sad.
