    @Hero\-of\-Time and @Cookyman I'm well up for some online gaming guys, do you have a preferred online game?! I'm so surprised that so few people seem to game online here after berating the WiiU's online (which is poor), the WiiU guys are online all the time! It was the lack of party/voice-chat that was really doing my head in on the WiiU... well, that and the lack of total numbers online generally.

    Right guys so what should I buy next for multiplayer? What's played most round here... Battlefield, Killzone? Are they played much at all?

    It's a huge improvement over the other Dual Shocks, although I don't think it's quite as nice as the WiiU's Pro Controller.

    Not a fan of the analogue positioning and I don't quite like the triggers, I actually prefer the shoulder buttons on the Pro Controller weirdly. The shoulder buttons and triggers on the DS4 feel too small and not shaped well enough.

     

    For the OS of the system, I think the WiiU's is much cleaner and more concise but it's so stupidly slow compared to the PS4's it's laughable!

    The PS4 feels like the latest generation of hardware though whereas the WiiU still feels like it's trying to catch up to the last. It's sad really.

     

    Very glad I made the purchase. I don't want to miss out on the big 3rd Party games. Can't wait for Destiny and Batman!

    It feels like typical Ubisoft fare... great in theory but falls short of promise in practice.

     

    I got the same feeling playing Assassins Creed.

     

    Likewise, the Last of Us feels like Uncharted. Polished visually and narratively but lacks the feel of polished control. It feels slightly "sketchy".

     

    The pad doesn't help, retarded analogue positioning I feel.

    When I think of Nintendo doing mobile games I don't think of Mario etc. I think of Wii_ titles. Sports, Fit, Music etc. games like WarioWare, Nintendoland, Brain Training and Nintendogs + cats + giraffes or whatever. I certainly think these type of games will catch on given the people buying and playing mobile games are the people that bought into the Wii and these types of games. I think they should, it could be the "3rd Pillar" they said the DS was going to be. Then keep the dedicated console/handheld of next gen that will be super powered and have a Netflix style virtual console service, full online with party-chat, DVD/Blu-Ray compatability and 3rd Party support... right?

    So I've just met up with Ellie for the first time and have enjoyed stealth killing people... having just played Splinter Cell Blacklist I'm in stealth-mode anyhow! Haha It looks pretty on my projector!

    So, picked up this for the PS4 and decided to play through the opening. All hell breaks loose, we drive, crash and run into an alley. Tommy suggests we run into a building but there's no floor in front of me leading up to the building, just grey space that I can't run into. Then the textures finally load and its turns out I was caught on a fence... but alas it's too late and infected gets me. Less than 5 minutes in and it's not loading textures?! Whatever happened to next-gen?! This didn't happen with me on the WiiU! "Remastered" my arse! ...this is only banter by the way, but it actually did happen. Good opening otherwise, no Res evil 4 opening mind. Looking forward to playing it!

    I'm just setting it up now. I wasn't it straight after work as my dad is I hospital at the moment so I was visiting him. Installing everything etc. Ok, PSN ID is on the left (or here: RadKav82) just downloading Netflix and the like, I've already bought PS+, won't manage any gaming tonight, I'm pooped. It's hooked up to my projector though... nice!

Nintendo don't want me playing their games it feels like. ...so I bought a PS4, WiiU relegated to secondary console.

    So I was walking down the high street on my lunch break when the urge just hit me. It was the flyer in the window... PS4 Last of Us edition. So I walked into Grainger and snapped up that bad boy along with WatchDogs and I pre-ordered Destiny. Paid £397 after knocking a little off with some points I had on my rewards card.

    Girl B - Date 1 The Good: This one went really well and we got on swimmingly, plenty of laughs and a little flirting was had. Agreed to a second date and will arrange. Plus she's absolutely gorgeous! The Bad: No outrageousness so it makes for a crap story for you guys. Sorry.

    I am gutted we never gave Lukaku a run out in the first team, I'd have liked to have seen what he could do.

    They should put super-bosses out in random terrain that are impossible to beat/run past, but that you can try and fight. That way there's no invisible wall or landscape cutting you off, just different super bosses that appear so that you feel the world is vast and dangerous with monsters like that out there.

    The difficult thing with online dating is that they'll not just be replying to yourself but other guys messaging them as well. Girls tend to get so many messages coming their way and so you may just lose out to someone else they're hitting it off with more. It's unfortunate but also the nature of the beast.

    @Blade and I... again out, getting drunk. This time for my mates birthday, who came out with just £30 and somehow managed to last the night. Blade getting tossed out of the cab before he threw up at the end of the night was gold! Blade, you are indeed ShitSwig! Tim looks like he's holding in his stomach on this one, haha...
