Meh, I disagree, death note was only the second series i watched and I had no problem. In fact it's probably easier for people to get into as it has more elements in common with Western TV shows than most anime...

Haha, seconded. I made that mistake when i first started watching anime... took a good few months to lower my standards back down and start enjoying stuff again. And as everyone seems to be doing recommendations, Darker Than Black - Good episodic anime, mixed bag of episodes but there are some gems Baccano! - Short mafia anime about immortals, pulp fiction-esque storytelling, fun characters and yeeahh And you can't not watch Spirited Away... or Princess Mononoke while your at it. And my vote goes to Naruto for continuous anime, swapping to the manga for shippuden...

Yeahp I'm making very slow progress though, as im watching them all at the same time. I should really focus on one rather than watch an episode of one then another... And is Samurai Champloo episodic or does the 'Samurai who smells of samurais' thing act as an story arc? Was never a fan of episodic stuff...

Rapidshare also seems to mess up for me aswell, i swear i put in the right cat numbers but sometimes it still fails. Annoys me when things are split into 4 parts or whatever, cause of the 3 hour wait on rapidshare... And i never saw the appeal of torrents, apart from for small files. I never seem to get above 50 kb/s... And Monster sounds amazing ^.^ Ahh i have so much anime to watch, Beck, Dennou Coil, Samurai Champloo...

Lol, sounds well fun. Most of the sci paper was on global warming, renewable energy and all that, which was fine as that was practically all we did in GCSE geography... Yeah I believe so. Well I have both modules on the same day - took the first one in Jan but got a C so I'm retaking... Shouldn't be too bad this time though Yep, and yep, no idea what i was thinking. I only retook one paper of the 3 though, as I got ABC and that averaged to a C, one mark off a B. I figured I may as well retake the C to push it up to a B... blah

I had GS today as well... no idea why i retook it, got a C in january, should really have just been fine with that :/ Anyways i cocked up the timings on mine (scientific paper right?) & spent about double the time on the first half of the paper as on the second half... pssh Then English next weds, Biology in a couple weeks, 3rd June Chemistry the day after that. That int gonna be a good couple of days...

Well I've watched 3 pretty amazing films tjis last week. and one meh one... Amores Perros Brilliance. Reminded me strongly of Crash, but even better, this is now in my top 5 films. Can't say I found the story about the model nearly as interesting as the other two, but i guess it showed nice contrast between the lives of the poor an the rich. And it had Gael GarcÃa Bernal in it for bonus points 10/10 Battle Royal Mental premise, mental film. Pretty brutal at times, especially the stabby stab stab in the groin. Made me think what Id do if my class were thrown into that... The beginning confused me though... Id assumed it was like a flash-forward, so at the end i was waiting for the girl to come out of nowhere and pwn everyone.... never happened. Still, great film 9/10 The Departed Surprisingly brilliant mob movie. Vair interesting story and.... yeh just generally supurb. I actually can't decide if i liked it more than Goodfellas... 10/10 Oh yeahse and Matrix Revolutions Not as bad as everyone says 7/10

Lol, i prefer closed text. In open book ones i tend to spend way too much time tracking down quotes when id be better off writing :P And we're doing none of those lol. Got Spies - which i like, High Windows - poems which are meh, and Woman of No Importance - which i completely suck at :/ Woop finished my Chemistry open book cw thing today which was surpringly good since i left it all till to today, the day before it's due...

Yip, sounds like me right there. Annoys the hell outta me that our teachers are still giving us homework atm. Once thats done then i can never be bothered to do revision. Urg i've done fsck all so far... Still, my art AS will be done and dusted by thursday ^.^ Which will be a relief... And Bluejay, english in 3 for me and all. Im suddenly getting C & D's for essays rather than A's which i was a couple months ago... bad timing and quite worrying
