But I don't know that I went to myself, just that I couldn't get to you. If I was redirected to myself, surely I'd actually cuff myself - punching the wall sounds more inconclusive. I still don't understand why you would redirect from me to you/you to me if the intention was to protect me after I caught one of the culprits. Surely if those were your intentions, you'd swap me with someone you suspect to be bad? @Peeps I'd like those examples in full, if possible.

Yeah, Rummy was investigated as good. Doesn't completely clear him, but if we trust Cube's info, which I do, he wasn't the killer, so isn't a priority. So we have: Cube: reverse tracked Dannyboy, targeted by MadDog and Sheikah Rummy: tracked Peeps to Mr-Paul Mr-Paul: attempted to roleblock Sheikah, couldn't find him. Peeps: claims redirection from Sheikah to Mr-Paul, we know he ended up at me, but redirection not confirmed Sheikah: claims to have done a swap/redirection between himself and Mr-Paul MadDog: Still hasn't answered after extensive questioning. The thing putting me off Sheikah is that he is completely contradicting Cube's evidence, and the only person backing him up is Peeps, who we know nothing about apart from his claimed targets. It feels like Peeps actually straight up targeted me and they may have created the redirection story to give them both an alibi, but Cube's info contradicts their claims. Peeps and MadDog, we still haven't had full claims of what you actually do. Tell us your powers and targets, and if you're good, we can disprove false mafia claims. If there's two left, for me it's gotta be Peeps and Sheikah. If there's just the one, it could be either Sheikah or MadDog.

Giving information doesn't exclude you from being the killer. And all I've seen you really say is that you've taken handcuffs off a few people. You need to give a bit more than that if you don't want people to suspect you. What do you know?? We know you targeted Peeps the night before last, what did you find?
-
You switched me with you so if I got targeted to be killed or messed with, you would take the brunt instead? If you're innocent, why not switch me with someone you suspect to be guilty? There's no reason why I should've been untargetable. It was you I couldn't reach, anyway. I could've been redirected to myself, but it doesn't really suggest that in my PM. @Rummy, did you track anyone to anyone? The rest of you, full disclosure of what you've done please. Sheikah, I believe you switch powers, which is making me think you're the mafia equivalent of Sprout - versatile. I may be wrong of course, but that's why I tried targeting you again. @MadDog/@The Peeps, same from you. What have you done? Don't say you feel no need to say. One more correct lynch and I reckon we've found the final culprit. Hiding stuff now just reduces our chances.
-
I targeted Sheikah, he was untargetable. I wasn't redirected as far as I know, I just couldn't find him. My PM said I punched a concrete wall in frustration :P Speak up @MadDog and @Sheikah. I'm also amazed I managed to get that lynch through. I was drunk and almost totally forgot that the phase was almost ending!

You don't eat chicken. Nandos would be wasted on you. I knew another veggie who worked there, actually. They succumbed to the meat eventually.

Yep, 80-100. A big time investment, but a brilliant, brilliant game.
-
Not necessarily with strangers. With friends!!!
-
I quite enjoyed the communication options on the bottom screen, with the symbols getting bigger the more you tapped them, but yeah, it will be a lot tougher when you're not in the same room as the people you're playing with.
-
Yep. Definitely buying a PS4 when this comes out.

Further to these, it seems they skipped the second phone call stage; I've got an interview next Wednesday. Extremely excited and really hope they like me!

Just did yoga for the first time. Relaxing, yet tough. Amazing for the core. Would definitely try it even more if my gym didn't charge extra for it.

N-Europe Summer Meet Up 2015 - Saturday 15th August
Mr-Paul replied to Goron_3's topic in General Chit Chat
I went to Meltdown last night - didn't realise they did Smash! Seemed like it's totally about League of Legends/WoW etc. Cool people there, though. We also went to Scenario/Loading Bar in Stoke Newington where we played a lot of Smash/MK8. Maybe it'd be an idea to book a table there for the N-E Meet? It had awesome (but pricy) cocktails! -
If what you were saying was true, Cube would've tracked Dannyboy to Sprout - I was redirected to him and he tracked me, not who redirected me. I don't believe you one bit, sir. Vote: Marcamillian

I loved Telltale's The Walking Dead, but it really can't be compared to a Nintendo game. They're completely different in every way, and are trying to achieve different things. TWD is not really a game, it's an interactive story. It's brilliant at what it does, as are Nintendo games. They both have a valued place in today's market, and some people may enjoy one type more, and some people may enjoy the other more. It all comes down to personal preference. While you can have games that just focus on the gameplay, and things like The Walking Dead which are completely about the story, what I think many here are arguing is that mainstream gaming shouldn't lose the gameplay element and drift towards becoming just an interactive story. Plot is an important device to keep people gripped to a game, but it shouldn't be at the expense of gameplay - they're called games, after all. The people who are less bothered by plot etc. don't want games to become less gamey. The likes of Phoenix Wright etc. are an interesting one, as you could say it's the story that makes you play it, but it still has a strong gameplay element - the solving of cases. It requires you to do something, and is non-linear in the investigation stages - it's down to you to work out where to go, what to show to people etc. so it's not like you're just watching a story play out.

Come on guys. @Marcamillian, are you going to put up no defence? We've got until tonight.
-
I don't remember this guy in Splatoon...
-
Damn not going to be able make it

We might as well use this day rather than rush through a lynch. There's 3 votes on and we don't know much of the happenings of the last night other than who targeted Sprout. It'd be useful to get a grasp on everyone a bit more to make the good guys targeting more efficient in the next break. I will vote for Marcamillian once we have more discussion, as I know the culprit was not me. @Dannyboy\-the\-Dane ????? @Mr\-Paul - Targeted Sheikah, redirected by a shadow, ended up roleblocking/handcuffing Sprout. @Rummy ??? @Sheikah ??? Does your ability change each break? @The Peeps - had notes stolen, targeted ???? I think someone with an info gathering role is mafia - either a role cop or tracker - otherwise they wouldn't know to keep redirecting me as Dedede never told his role.

Coming to Xbox One/PS4/PC in 3 weeks time.

@kav82 is that Nintendo have a diverse range of IP that is untouched and would make the Wii U's library even better. Yes, there's a wide range of different games available, but there's so much more potential left untapped! These games not being on the console is made a lot harder by the lack of support from other developers. Yeah, you say that they aren't world famous/don't sell much, but if we look at it from a non-business perspective, reintroducing some of these franchises that are so desperately wished for on these forums would make the Wii U's library undoubtedly stronger.
