I don't consider it "taking her out", though. Yeah, doesn't sound like it, but I mean it. We're just going out as friends. Still, this doesn't seem like the best idea, now that I might become more attracted to her.

So, there's this girl. She was in a relationship* with a very good mate.

But emulators are more than capable of running games perfectly, i.e. in the best quality imaginable. Why is Nintendo unable/unwilling to 'use' such an emulator, or rather use the tech behind it (which I have absolutely no knowledge of, but I assume for a company as large as Nintendo it is easily manageable)? I mean, if those lovely gaming pirates/hackers can do it... It might also be doable in a short amount of time, which could lead to: Release an incredibly large, and equally amazing collection of games with perfect (!) quality

That's just - sorry - plain stupid, though, isn't it? Would it be so difficult (costly) to just change their way of handling VC games, i.e. do "a one emulator fits all"-thing? And why have they done their current approach in the first place? Surely it can't be about quality, because emulators are capable of emulating - of course, mainly NES/SNES/GBA - games perfectly for a long time now.

Is there any reason why Nintendo is not able/does not want to bring all SNES games (let's just forget N64 and GC for the sake of simplicity) to VC - and by VC I mean: available for Wii, Wii U and 3DS? Would it be too expensive? Would it be not profitable? This isn't meant to be provocative :p I seriously don't understand what's keeping Nintendo from making that move.

Fifa 13 - I know, technically a 2012 game, but I played this so much with a mate and online. Persona 4 - Sorry @Sheikah @Happenstance @Shorty ... I haven't finished it, not even close. But I will someday. What makes it my one of my favourite games of 2013? It distracted me from a lot of shit that was going on during a couple of months last year. So yeah, it kind of has a special place in my heart and I will/have to finish it. Awesomenauts - another "actually 2012" game. Got released in August 2012. Clocked in 279 hours so far, and there will be more. Probably got 150 hours of playtime in 2013. It's a 2D MOBA. Great game, if you have the right teammates and opponents (i.e. competent ones).

Triple post. No love for the game? Aren't there a lot of people who enjoyed Terraria? Starbound is miles better, and it's still early in beta. 24 hours in, defeated the second boss, built a little house and now I'm off exploring planets/gathering resources.

I'll quote this again. Everyone should give it a try. It's really good. Just finished volume one and it really is better than AoT.

Went to a Mongolian restaurant yesterday. It was fucking amazing. Appetiser was deep-fried grasshoppers and mealworms. And then...all you can eat... Crocodile, USA beef, llama, and so many types of fish, I don't even remember their names. Best dinner I've ever had.

Started working as an Air Traffic controller, found out that it wasn't really for me, got dumped by my ex, quit my job, started studying Biotechnology, met amazing people at university. Crazy but amazing year. 2014, do your worst.

Continue enjoying life as much as I have been since starting university.

I just read the first two chapters of Feng Shen Ji. It begins just as awesome as Attack on Titan did. Maybe even better, depending on how good the next two or three chapters will be. @Ellmeister Thanks for that recommendation. Edit: Chapter 4 done...so far, it's better than AoT.

I don't care for any kind of allegiance. Have owned/own a couple of systems from every company, because I thought they'd bring me enjoyment. And they did. I like video gaming. It's my biggest hobby, always has been, always will be. So yeah, that's my 50 cents :p

While the Amazon customer service is really good (at least here in Germany :p ), when it comes down to things like "When will you get another shipment?", they always respond with: "You'll get an e-mail when we might be able to speculate that there is a possibility we may be getting a new shipment sometime in the near future...or not." But I kinda have to order from them because I will soon have vouchers for Amazon worth 300-400€ (more when I trade in my 3DSXL). I need them Edit: Just pre-ordered the PS4/Killzone/Knack/Driveclub bundle. No release date given, but still. It's pre-ordered so I'll at least have something. If I go through with that order and won't go with the PS4/Killzone/DS4/Camera bundle, I'll trade in Knack and Driveclub.

Is this an exclusive? If so, will it always be exclusive to the 3DS, or timed?

Two answer both questions of the thread title: Pretty much nothing. My mom and me were supposed to have dinner with my sister and her husband, but they decided to co camping (I shit you not) and fishing. What a lovely sister I have. So my mom and I figured: Let's have nice food anyway.

Started a new character, 'cause the game has been patched 2 days ago (there was no wipe, but I still wanted so start from scratch). I hope the devs will add a pickaxe to the starter items. It's so tedious to get resources with the matter manipulator. Doesn't take thaaaat long to get a pickaxe yourself, but depending on your first planet you might have bad luck and it takes 5 minutes. Anyway, love this game. 17 hours Just defeated the first boss with my new character. Now onwards to the Beta sector!
