  1. Infinite Warfare's campaign is awesome. Definitely worth checking out if you can find the game for a few bucks. And then there is of course the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign. But you probably played the original back in the days
  2. NO. I'm happy with my purchase.
  3. But I didn't need advice.
  4. Co-op. Working together is imperative (but it's also kind of fun to just let your friend die against a horde of Zombies ). I'm still not sure how exactly CoD Zombies works. From what I've played so far I can say this: you play on one big map and have to complete certain "missions" enemies come in waves; the higher the wave the tougher/more abundant Zombies become with this iteration of CoD Zombies the "main quest" seems to be much more streamlined (i.e. easier to figure out) than in previous games, but exploration is still necessary (e.g. one of the first objectives is "Restore Power to something (I won't spoil what)"; that's the only hint you're given) as with every Zombies map, an "Easter Egg" exists; can't tell you much about it because I haven't found it, yet, and I won't look it up as far as I know, the "Easter Egg" is hidden behind secret missions that aren't explained to you Trying to figure out how to advance while surviving hordes of Zombies is what it all comes down to. It's hectic, it's difficult, it's hilarious, it's fun
  5. Well...it's a little too late for that now
  6. And coffee from the oldest German roast house.
  7. Well...I just had the most fun with a video game in months My mate and I decided to give Zombies a go and holy shit...it's fucking amazing. The rush you get while running away from zombies, killing them and at the same time trying to figure out what the fuck you're supposed to be doing is incredible. My mate and I screamed like babies at times We managed to progress quite a bit. But eventually we were only focused on survival and couldn't give a single fuck about the missions. I think we also stumbled upon a part of the easter egg...but I'm not quite sure. Looking forward to our next session. We need better tactics and a more efficient approach to the early objectives. Shit...I think this has convinced me to get the season pass simply because more Zombie maps are included.
  8. The War mode has surprised me...it's the game mode I play most these days. And it's in the fucking core playlist I didn't want to buy the season pass but if we get one War map, 3 or 4 "regular" multiplayer maps and a new Zombie map with each DLC...I'm very tempted. Sledgehammer still has some work to do, though...a lot of things are still very buggy, connection issues seem abundant and a couple of map exploits have reared their ugly heads. I have yet to experience any of the connection issues, but I can understand why those who do are annoyed.
  9. Yeah, for the LoZ series. But compared to other series it's miles behind in regards to world building. This is what I hope, too. If they can really populate the world and keep the freedom you have in traversal...only then will they redefine open world gaming. They're sitting on something big. Something that could change a whole genre and I wish they do exactly that. Anyway, I'm stitting at work...nothing to do right now. Can't wait to get home and jump back into Skyrim
  10. This game constantly reminds me of what BotW is missing: A living world. A world that is inhabited by people, creatures and stories. Yes, Skyrim is a huge world that can feel empty at times but you can stumble upon a quest at any minute. A quest that lets you discover a tragic story of two lovers, or a quest that starts a feud between two factions, or a simple fetch quest. After I'm done with Skyrim (in about 8 years ) I'll get back to The Witcher 3. Never finished it but I want to. I'll probably get the GOTY edition.
  11. So much for that. I came down with a fever and told her that it's probably not a good idea to go out tonight. Haven't gotten a response, yet. The last time this happened (me cancelling a date because I'm sick) I got called "a coward who lies to get out of a planned date" so here's hoping this lady is a little more understanding.
  12. Got the game this morning. Spent most of the day in Skyrim It's quite addictive. Going for a Stealth/Battle Mage (Magic and One-Handed) build. Not sure how viable that is in the long run but I don't care. Stealth, Pickpocketing and Lockpicking is what I always go for in RPGs anyway. This time I wanted to try out some Magic, too. Have played this for a bit when it first released on PC years ago but never really delved into it. It was during the time I really moved away from PC gaming. This time I'll finish it
  13. Yeah, but not as twitch-reflex heavy as most twin stick shooters. It's also a rogue-like. Definitely recommended, but you know me...I see a rogue-like and I'm in love
  14. Ah I see, so it's as stupid as the movie's conclusion
  15. I don't understand...
  16. I just watched The Game and I have no idea how I feel about it. It has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen with quite possibly the worst conclusion to a story that I have ever experienced. I think I don't like it...and that's coming from a guy who likes mind fuck movies.
  17. It's on sale on Amazon.de. 18€. Because I don't have anything to play...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Also bought the DLC for Darkest Dungeon for PS4/PSVita. I might finally dive into it. Already scared of the Black Friday sale that's inevitable for the PSN store on Friday...
  18. These two are supposed to be great JRPGs and since I'm a sucker for those I always wanted to play them. I bought Suikoden II for my Vita but never started it (also got the predecessor but the second installment is apparently far superior). Xenogears is quite expensive to obtain and sadly it hasn't been released on the PSN store, yet. Not sure if I'll ever going to play it unless I resort to some emulation magic. I really want to know what all the fuzz is about with this one It's crazy expensive these days, sadly...same with Xenogears, looks like some alternative means to play are necessary. I own the game but never played it. Really want to, though. It's supposed to be weird and I like weird stuff
  19. Gal Gadot is sexy as fuck. That's why. The movie was kinda lame, though.
  20. Jesus...the first experience I had with Xbox Live was Halo 3 on the 360 10 years ago...so many great moments with my mates back then. Oh boy...I'm getting old
  21. Battle Royale games have that thrill of you constantly being on your toes, checking every corner, being paranoid. Haven't played PUBG but you should give Fortnite Battle Royale a chance. It's free on PS4 and is a blast.
  22. No worries. I'm guilty of mixing both (microtransactions and DLC) from time to time, so I understand why you interpreted it that way. It should be, but I fear that this isn't the case. I can't base this on anything other than what I've seen from several kids and their parents in recent years, though.
  23. Have you tried turning it off and on again? In all seriousness, you should contact Sony. I've had good experiences with their support so far. Results may vary, though
  24. To me there's a difference between microtransactions and expansions/DLC. As I mentioned: The latter is fine if it's substantial and not vaguely described before release. As for microtransactions: They are shitty, in my opinion. No matter the game, no matter the implementation. Hearthstone, Awesomenauts, CoD, amiibo, various trading card games...This is just my opinion, though. But again, I don't really care. I hate that they made their way into many games but I ignore them in games I play. The biggest issue I have, as I've said a lot, is any kind of randomized system, i.e. loot boxes, card packs, etc. It enables gambling and with video games being easily available to kids I absolutely despise this approach to making money.
