  1. That's a very nice assumption there. I just borrowed my mate's Steam account. So...yay.
  2. After a mate gave me access to his "copy" of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on PC my gaming time has been entirely focused on that. Good God, this game is addictive. I Platinumed the vanilla version back in the day on PS4 and always wanted to give the expansions ago but found them to be a little expensive. Knowing what I know now they definitely aren't. Still, I won't get them for PS4 because why would I now.
  3. I watched it and have to say: Deservedly knocked out. They missed so many chances and the moment Allegri changed things up Spurs were out of the game for a couple of minutes...and conceded two goals. After that they weren't able to score yet again. Juve's experienced really showed. It was a great match for a neutral football fan Can't wait for Euro League tonight. With Dortmund and Leipzig there are still two German teams in the competition. I really want to see Lokomotiv Moscow upset Atlético Madrid
  4. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - fucking amazing. But what do you expect with a cast like that and director Martin McDonagh. Sam Rockwell is so freaking great in good movies.
  5. PushSquare.com Guess I'll stay single for the rest of my life.
  6. Ah, I see. Thank you very much for the help
  7. According to the app it's 28kg (did 25kg 5x5). What exactly is the RM useful for? I think I'm being a little thick here. I don't understand its purpose. I'd never just do 1x5 28kg Shoulder Press, for example.
  8. No idea. The app is very vague on the RMs. That picture shows weights I lifted without the bar, so it's just the plates' weight. I added the bar weight to the most recent workout and now it shows: 1RM 39 (I did 5x5 35kg Deadlifts). The starting weights guide I don't want to use as I took a 6 months break so I basically started from scratch
  9. Fourth post in a row. For a year I've been having a weird sleep schedule. Mostly going to bed very late and waking up depending on university, work, or free time. I tried to change that this year but failed until two weeks ago. I've installed f.lux on my PC and the Twilight app on my mobile devices. They change the screen colour at sunset so it doesn't have that blue glow which keeps you from becoming tired. I use my screens every night so I figured why not give these programs a try. And they seem to work. I get tired much earlier now and have less trouble falling asleep. Another app I installed on my phone: Sleep Cycle. It analyses your sleep cycles (deep sleep, R.E.M.) and wakes you up in the lightest sleep phase, which makes you wake up "softer". It also seems to work. It's still not very easy to wake up because, well, it never is But it's easier and I feel better every morning. Maybe it's placebo, maybe not. I don't care. It works. Now I usually go to bed around 11pm and wake up between 6.30am-7.00am (or later depending on what's in store for the day) and am much more engertic throughout the morning. Throughout the whole day, for that matter. Will be interesting to see if an occasional long night out (with or without drinks) and having a lie-in will have a huge impact.
  10. Yeah, makes sense. I excluded the bar weight because it's simpler to calculate which plates to use, but that's stupid Am I understanding this correctly then: My app calculates the max weight I could lift 5 times? In the picture above it would be 17kg for Deadlifts (+20kg)?
  11. Did you just start them?
  12. Neverwinter and Skyforge weren't for me. I'll give Tera a go over the weekend with the open beta. It's supposed to be pretty good (at least on PC). I'm in the mood for an MMORPG and if this is up my alley I can see myself playing this for a couple of hours every week.
  13. Sooo...I recently bought a Podcast app and I need some suggestions for gaming podcasts. Lay 'em on me.
  14. Get Out - great movie
  15. Quick question: What do the abbreviations mean (1RM, PRs)? The weight is only for plates. The app requires you to put in weights and reps yourself and I forgot to add the 20kg for the barbell It's quicker to calculate which plates to use for the next workout, though. But I guess, depending on what exactly the abbreviations mean, I should include the 20kg?
  16. Yeah, I'll see how it goes with the 5x5 Deadlifts. I'm increasing the weight every time by 2.5kg instead of the 5kg that are recommended in the Stronglift program so it'll be slower and safer.
  17. Yeah, at the end of March the Universe Survival Arc will come to an end. Personally I think there's no way Dragon Ball won't continue after that. Maybe the arc will end with a cliffhanger? Angels are stronger than Gods (of Destruction), maybe Goku isn't stronger than Angels which could provide the next stage in power for future battles? Who knows
  18. Went to the theatre tonight (with the lady from last night ) to watch White Rabbit, Red Rabbit. If you get the chance to see it, I urge you to do so. Go in without reading anything about it. It's wonderfully thought-provoking.
  19. Yeah, I did the regular 5x5 last year until I got injured but I wanted to focus a bit more on my lower back this time. Especially since I suffer from the occasional back pains. After a week of training it feels like it's gotten better already. Might just be placebo effect, though
  20. Devil's Third?
  21. I could use google But it's more fun this way.
  22. Man the fuck up.
  23. Decided to text a friend (not a particularly close friend, but a friend nonetheless) of mine a couple of days ago. She spent a semester in Portugal and I wanted to know what it was like. We texted a bit and then she asked if I'd like to get a drink some time. That time has come We spent a lovely evening in a bar, talked for 5 hours about everything. It was also clear that it wasn't a date. We didn't address it but it was somehow obvious. And even though she's beautiful and a great person it was good that it wasn't a date as I'm still not ready. I did, however, have a wonderful time and I feel fucking great.
  24. A friend of mine (M.Sc. Exercise Science and Coaching) recommended what I started doing, so I'm going to stick with it for now. But he also told me what you guys told me: eventually a time will come when I have to switch things up.
