  1. There's no right way to play this. And, contrary to what others might tell you, there's also no wrong way to play it. Just do what you feel like doing And in case you want to "minmax" (i.e. make lots of money in a week) get into the turnip market. It's quite easy to sell these things for an insane amount on here.
  2. Yeah, I didn't really think it through. Had an exam on my mind that I most likely failed today, so I'm ready to think again That was one of the plans, yeah That would be awesome We need more players, though
  3. Took a two week break from running. Did an 11.5 km run yesterday and my knees hurt again After the exam on Monday I will arrange a doctor's appointment and get it checked.
  4. Live in a flat with 2 others (lady and gent). We don't do much together (they both work - one as a PhD, the other as an engineer - and travel a lot) but it's chill. The past few months have been busier here, for obvious reasons. What do I want for my future living arrangement? Well, eventually I'd love to get/rent my own flat. Don't necessarily want a house. But that's at least 5 more years away. And that is if I manage to finish my Bachelor's degree and the following Master's degree and get a job until then.
  5. Interesting. Have been wanting to get back to it for a while. Seems like a great time to do so. Might even download it on my Switch if it'll have crossplay (and maybe even cross progression?).
  6. People who play/own this game: Would you be up for a tournament of some sorts? There are two options to do a tourney: play against each other directly (that would limit the amount of games suitable for this mode) play independently of each other, i.e. everyone plays a game online against randos and we have to set some kind of win/placement conditions (for example: Yacht - win to be eligible for scoring, the higher your score the better your placement) (Edit: For this one, it has to be built on trust...don't just play 800 matches in order to get the perfect result) I'd be up for organizing something (probably from next week onward) but first I'd like to know if it's even worth the time
  7. Day 21 - Game that takes you back to your childhood Most of the old Game Boy games take me back but there's nothing quite like Kwirk. I first played this when I was 4 or 5 and at that time I was too stupid to complete the later puzzles so I just redid the first few. I became quite the Kwirk speedrunner As with all the other GameBoy games, I mostly played this on the long car rides during vacations.
  8. Watched the Middleditch & Schwartz special on Netflix. Haven't laughed this hard in ages Their improv skills are off the chains.
  9. Well, that was unnecessary. Chuffed about the Cadence DLC, though. Will get the complete package next year on a sale then.
  10. Do I need to play the previous games to enjoy/understand the story or are they independent from each other?
  11. Maybe. I wouldn't know. Usually I send my carrier pigeon to the admins. They then just post the note attached to the bird on here. Every hour I get a letter back and then I get to decide whom (who? I hate this) I'll answer.
  12. Day 18 - Minigame Tetra Master from Final Fantasy IX. I spent an unholy amount of time with this card game back in the day. Day 19 - Melee Combat Soul Calibur 2. Maybe the best fighting game in existence. Day 20 - Saddest Moment The Last of Us. Those who played it will know what I mean.
  13. I'm going to play this in "fuck off with MTX mode"
  14. Well... I drank way too much
  15. Decided to go out tonight. First time since March. Will go to a cocktail bar with a few friends and just enjoy the ride Interesting times indeed.
  16. I'm with @Mandalore on this: Best Racing Game F-Zero GX
  17. I won't take part this month, so not sure if I should vote. If you need a vote, I'd choose The Messenger without hesitation.
  18. Pff, why does it always have to be the Bavarian/Oktoberfest style when there are German bars in other countries North Rhine-Westphalian cuisine is much better For example: Potato fritter/pancake Or Sauerbraten We also have much tastier beer Anyways, there is an amazing burger place in my hometown (Mönchengladbach). I'm actually going there on Saturday. It's called Rabbit Hole. A little on the expensive side but my goodness, the burgers are delicious. They also have custom made spicy mayonnaise which is sooooo good. I'll probably get the Yam Burger on Saturday:
  19. Oh I see, I misunderstood the issue, then. Thanks for clearing it up
  20. Not something any of you will ever get to visit (I live in Germany, as most of you know ) but there's an awesome "kind of fast-food" restaurant in Aachen called AKL. I say "kind of" because it's all fresh ingredients, but made quickly Take-away or sit down inside the restaurant itself (it's quite small) or you can take a seat in the bar next door. It's a great concept: Order food, go to the bar and order drinks. Enjoy both. They make Lebanese food: That sauce you see on the bottom right plate? It's the best sauce I've ever had. I can't describe the taste, as it's quite unique and I haven't tasted anything like that. Anyways...I'll probably just go there today because I haven't been there in ages
  21. My favourite track: It's brutal and fits perfectly to the hell you're unleashing on...well...hell. Shame that apparently Bethesda didn't allow Mick Gordon to mix and record all tracks for the sequel. I've not played it, but listened to the OST and the songs are great, but man...they could've been so much more if Mick Gordon actually recorded instead of "just" composing (composed? English grammar, man...) them. Edit: I was wrong
  22. It's VLR, then. Most Interesting Collectibles Easy: Horizon Zero Dawn.
  23. Oh shit, how could I not think of this one... I'm gonna have to change my vote...It's the Nonary Games trilogy all the way
  24. Well...watched the final three episodes... My feelings were confirmed: I didn't like it very much. The series is very well made. Great acting, wonderful cinematography, the choice of music is amazing, intriguing characters, an idea that is soooooo my thing. The plot development was not for me, though. At least from S2 onward. That one twist... Edit: In case the question "what ending/resolution would you have liked" arises:
  25. Best Story Bioshock Infinite - it's just amazing (the gameplay not so much, but the plot...I enjoyed it immensely when I played it) Nope. It's the Nonary Games Trilogy
