Indeed. For me the relation between "pandemic creating an increase demand" and "pandemic causing supply constraints" is particularly interesting. It's obivous that this pandemic has turned more people to gaming, in turn increasing demand, but I wonder if it's more impactful on numbers than supply constraints. That's true. Most of my digital library consists of indie games which don't get physical releases very often. Still, I prefer digital "ownership" (if you can even call it that) over gaming subscriptions. Not to say that I see the value in the latter (I do have a PS+ subscription after all).

"Console gaming is dead" It's really cool to see that all three big-players keep defying this narrative, which to be honest is a thing of the past. Console gaming has been healthy for quite a long time now and I'm pretty sure it'll stay that way for at least 5-10 years. My biggest fear, however, is the transition to a digital only and eventually completely subscription based gaming world. Call me old fashioned but I still prefer ownership. Having said that, my digital library is quite large so...I'm part of the problem

Yup, Sony is on its way to perfect their SoPs. If they wanna talk about specific games they make sure everybody knows it's just that. Have a general showing? Be sure to leave space for surprises. It's working wonders for them and it's a great way to create exicement while also bringing new information to the public. And disappointment is reduced to a minimum

Almost done with the trophy hunt. One more to go: Complete the game in one loop. Should be simple enough. Will give it a go tonight. I'm glad I'm going for the Platinum. Especially the "complete the ship log"-trophy is great. I learnt more bits and bytes of the universe's story, even after I had finished the game. Recommended Outer Wilds to a mate who I was sure would also enjoy it. Got a text this morning: "Pulled an all-nighter, I'll sleep through the zoom meetings!"

Been working on completing the ship log while also taking care of a few trophies. Found out that I missed something very important early on... Anyways. Have a few things to search for on The Interloper, Dark Bramble and Giant's Deep to complete the log.
