  1. Aside from Returnal I've been playing quite a bit of Wreckfest these past few days. It's a fun little racing game with pretty cool destruction models. It does get a little repetitive, though. Especially with later career events which can have up to 8 races in a row. I'm enjoying it, though, and will definitely go for the Platinum. Oh, and if some of you intend to play it: Turn off the music. It sucks ass. Also started Subnautica an hour ago. With the release of its PS5 version I finally...dove in. Hehehehe. Anyways, I'm a bit disappointed with the game's technical side. While the framerate has been upped to 60fps, it's really not that stable. Quite jarring at times. Also: there's a lot of pop-in. I can live with it, though, as the gameplay loop is right up my alley: Survive, explore, craft, survive, explore, find more blueprints, craft more, etc. Occasionally I'm in the mood for a game like that and as it happens, the time is now Got my gaming sorted out for a while
  2. I've tried, but I get an error message. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6vneCcCHdQwqsxLbb8hNfK?si=687cc11b7e734f84 "The link could not be embedded because an error occurred on open.spotify.com"
  3. On my journey to become a more positive person, I've realized just how much impact music has on my general demeanor. Yes, it may be obvious but in recent weeks it has become crystal clear to me that in order to start a day right (i.e. with a positive mindset) I just need a few songs to keep me going I've created a playlist on Spotify with a total of 9, YES NINE songs that always get me in the right mood. I do, however, want to add more songs to it and I'm looking for inspiration, musicians, bands, albums, tracks, anything that puts you ladies and gents in a good mood Here's a few example of what I'm looking for or rather what my good-mood-music sounds like: Alrighty. Gimme your best!
  4. And I did. And I found that something. Now I'm halfway done with the "more story bits" part. 26 hours in. Can't get enough
  5. Started watching Orphan Black. Halfway through the first season and it's really good. Tatiana Maslany and Jordan Gavaris are awesome (and hot ). Can't wait to see where they're going with the plot. There are 5 seasons, I think? Not sure how much they can get out of the premise.
  6. A few spoilers in there, but it's not too bad. Cool trailer
  7. Can't check it myself, but you might be too late...
  8. There's stuff up for grabs for all you PS4 plebs
  9. No idea why and no idea if it's available anywhere else, but Valkyria Revolution is currently free on the PSN store in Germany. Edit: All the DLC is free, as well.
  10. Can't wait. Probably only hands-off previews, but better than nothing.
  11. Returnal at number 3 in the US and 4 in Europe with just one day of sales in April. I really hope the actual numbers are as good as it sounds. Housemarque deserves all the success. No surprise to see MLB The Show 21 at #1 in the US. They do love their baseball
  12. I've only ever played the demo on PSX Never even owned a Dreamcast. I've actually never seen one in real life
  13. You all know that I'm the most skilled player that has ever graced this wonderful planet. I mean, there is absolutely no chance that anyone will ever surpass me. My awareness, my reflexes, my eye-hand coordination...impeccable.
  14. Hey you retro bitches, need your help. I remember playing a demo of a fighting game on my PSX back in the day and the only characters you could fight as were a soccer player and a baseball dude. Does anybody know what game I'm talking about?
  15. A very good point that I keep forgetting.
  16. This will be very interesting to see... I always thought that for 3rd party games we'd see cross gen games for a much longer time than for 1st party games. But then I just read that RE8 sold 49% of its physical copies in the UK on PS5 and while this is obviously not representative of the whole sale situation it could be an indicator that people are willing to transition to current-gen much faster than we thought.
  17. One third of the German population has been vaccinated once. Not sure if this is a cause for celebration or if it's just sad because it took so fucking long. Anyways, the prioritization of AstraZeneca's and John and Johnson's vaccine has been revoked over here, so it's possible for everyone to get one. I've told my doctor that he should let me know as soon as he's got one left for me. He still has lots of older patients left who, of course, should get their shot first. For me, it's now just a matter of what comes first: get vaccinated via my doctor or via the university. Seems like employees might get a vaccination offer soon.
  18. Played this again last night. There's one sequence leading up to a certain boss...one of the greatest moments in video game history. Occasionally I will skip bosses/areas but never this one. It's a shame I can't say more about it, because it would spoil...well, everything. I can say this, though: The boss and the lead-up to it are perfect. Housemarque's first foray into AAA story-telling is nothing short of amazing. And they managed to couple it with some of the most - for lack of a better word - video-gamey gameplay. Kinda sad, that the boss' theme isn't part of the OST Anyways, still have to unlock ... more ... to fully grasp the world, characters and lore. I love this game
  19. Say what you want about the bugs, crashes and issues, you can't deny that Housemarque has been quick to work on patches this past week
  20. Fair enough
  21. So sad for you that you won't be able to enjoy at least three of those. No PS5 and England will be eliminated early.
  22. The first Baten Kaitos is sooooo good. Way ahead of its time. Hope for all those who have a Switch and have never played it that it'll get a port
  23. Awesome, thanks It's been a while since I've seen an anime. Demon Slayer seems like a great way to return
  24. All the animations are great Granted, I've only seen the first three episodes, but if the anime can keep up the quality I'm in for a treat I've also read the first 21 chapters and I love it. So, you said Season 1 ends with chapter 52? Is the movie canon, i.e. does it follow the anime series/the manga? If so, when should I watch it?
