I bought my sister Discworld - the game for christmas. It's pretty good! The best bit is that you all have different objectives to win it, but no-one knows what the others are up to because the character you are is a secret. I like.

I wouldn't know, i've not seen the Sweedish version. LOlolololooOlOlolol spelling error!!!!11!! You might do. Its certainly more cinematic than the previous one, which was filmed like a dull documentary. However, if it was the plot you found odious, then i would not recommend.

There's no doubt that it is awesome. I downloaded the song when i got home and i'm listening to it now. However, it didn't really fit with the rest of the film i thought... The film only changed a couple of things from the book, and they were barely noticable, which was good

Just saw The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It was really good! I think it might have even been better than the original swedish version. Although what the hell was up with the opening sequence? It was like whoever made them saw Daniel Craig and got confused as to which franchise they were making. Yesterday i saw Mission Impossible, which was really good as well (apart from the ending). Pegg was great in it, and the Burj Dubai scene was awesome, really wish i'd seen it in IMAX now... Last week I saw Sherlock Holmes 2. That was awesome as well! Good week for films this. Not sure if it was better than the first, but i suppose it doesn't matter... Finally, saw the trailer for The Amazing Spiderman at the cinema today. Was even better on the big screen. Needless to say, i came. They should totally think about making a full length film from that trailer.

Have you seen the Swedish version? They're quite good. They even got the amount of coffee drunk right.

When i'm at work i usually have my Gmail open, and facebook, and then something work related that i can ctrl-tab to when my superiors walk past. Maybe i'll have N-Europe open as well. Everything else is temporary until i've finished reading it. I tend to automatically close stuff when i reach the bottom of the page, even when i don't want to. It's very annoying...

Ah yes. Exactly as i thought.

I went to a primary school where we said the lords prayer every day (albeit in welsh) and then to a secondary school which used to be a convent and where it was compulsory to do GCSE R.S. I was (and still am) an atheist however, so most of it went in one ear and out the other. I did think it was very unfair however than in doing religious stuidies, we were only allowed to study Christianity because that's what the teacher was. I find it strange that the Uk is something like 60% religious, but I very rarely meet anyone who is actually religious. I suspect that much of the younger generation is agnostic or atheist and in 20-30 years there will be a massive shift away from religion. Well i can hope...

Even though i got the Dark Knight soundtrack and have listened to it a few hundred times, that 2-3 seconds of music at the end of the new trailer still makes me come.

I used to work for the NHS, and both my Mum and my sister still do, and i think it is pretty darn good value for money. It could certainly be improved, they way it is run is pretty bad but otherwise i think it is something to be proud of compared to many other countries' hospital systems.

ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG!!! Well that finale was good. I think all the dexter seasons are good (although 5 is probably the worst). Season 7 should be just as awesome!

People who have seen the prologue, (I don't really want to because i'm worried about spoilers etc) I've heard that Banes voice is really hard to understand due to being behind a a mask and faffed around with and i was wondering if it was as bad as they say? That would be rubbish if you couldn't understand the villain in a film. Maybe he isn't the villain at all, maybe he's just misunderstood...

Our department meal is on Friday (not sure it even counts as a party) but i can't be arsed to go as i'm lazy, unsociable and going for another 3 course meal later in the evening with some other people.

Imagining my parents' disappointment was the reason i did well at Uni. Whenever i felt like not giving a poop, all i had to do was think of them telling my grandparents how i'd done in a sad tone and i'd turn right around and try harder. That doesn't mean that they expected it though i don't think.....i'm sure they would have been happy with whatever, it was just a made up thing in my head that they would be disappointed. I don't think it's a reason to stress though, just a 'motivational tool' that you can use. BAD STUFF: A couple of days ago i left the hob on, and then put some dirty kitchen stuff down on it, and ended up melting the chopping board onto a baking tray and had to throw them both away. Then, yesterday, i got a hugh knife trapped in the cutlery draw and in the process of trying to get it out, hacked a load of chips out of the (wooden) rolling pin. Then, when that didn't work, i unscrewed the front of the drawer to get the knife out. Once solved, i realised that i'd put the screwdriver down somewhere and couldn't find it, so i couldn't put the front of the drawer back on and everything kept falling out the front of the drawer. It wasn't until the screwdriver fell out the front of the drawer that i realised where i'd put it. I don't trust myself to go back in the kitchen any more.
