Thanks again @Glen-i, loving SMW and it's fun to see how someone else plays it. Gotta go now, but maybe I've got some more time somewhere tonight or tomorrow. I'll tag you here!
-
If you're up for it @Glen-i, I'm heading on now.
-
Cheers for the mention @Glen-i! Unfortunately I'm busy all day today, working now and afterwards I have my evening full as well. I may have some time Saturday and Sunday though to sneak in some Super Mario Madness.

Haha looks insane, even more a game then I would have guessed. Including silly minigames like pottery. This guy though, please don't come to my house at night and strangle me with a Ring-con...
-
I wouldn't mind giving this game a go as it looks like a lot of fun to play and I have been tempted to get it on PC before. But the price is pretty steep plus no cross-play makes me wonder if this game will suffer from empty servers. I can't estimate how big this game will sell, but limiting it to Switch only means the player base won't be that massive. If I look at Paladins (which does have cross-play), I already sometimes have to wait a couple of minutes to get a game. So with Overwatch being Switch-only it may take a while to find a full game. Make it €20 (they probably make enough cash through cosmetics anyway) and promise us cross-play and I'm game.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas (do a barrel roll!)
Dufniall replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
If I remember correctly you can start the Star Fox ones pretty fast but not immediately. But doing the later Star Fox ones either require some progression in the main quest or some grinding for levelling up. I remember I couldn't clear them all in one go. -
Of course, this is the way normal people play SMW... And I'm definitely up for 100%ing this game. I haven't played it in ages, and it is so fun that while playing it so many things came back, like the secret exits etc. Some bits I could fly through on ancient muscle memory. I'm glad my brain stores this kind of info, instead of real important stuff.

Turns out that was tonight, cheers @Glen-i! (Tagging on Twitter went a bit wrong, I wonder what @Glen thinks about that...)

Anyone here ever had a gaming session where you lay on the ground making moves while 5 friends or relatives are watching you? I sure as hell don't and I can't say that I want it to happen. But yes, looks like a new Wii Fit-like thing.
-
It's pretty fun, basically a 4-player boss battle. Kirby can do 4 roles: sword, hammer, mage and healer. It is pretty grindy indeed, but I think you can go through it much faster with 4 skilled players then alone with bots, which I did on the 3DS. Anyway, I'm game for some games!
-
I will definitely take you up on this! Maybe somewhere during the weekend.

What a generation! You can eat the cream from one Pokémon and suck the tea out of another.

Watched the Direct this morning, great stuff. Overwatch is a great addition although the price is pretty steep. I've already invested quite some time in Paladins so I don't know if I will make the switch to Overwatch. Kirbyis fun, I liked the 3DS version but the biggest letdown was no online and that's fixed now. Never played TM#FE so will be playing TM#FEE! SNES Online is godlike, and this controller actually looks good compared to those NES ones. Can't wait to try it out. For the rest some okay stuff like Town and Xeno remastered. I really want to finish that game but I don't know if I need to finish my Wii version or just wait for the Switch version. Although I lose about 50 hours of playtime... And those two Deadly Premonition games also look interesting, never played the first one

It looks like the app will be renamed NES and Super NES - Nintendo Switch Online, so I think we can just keep this topic and rename it. Anyway, SNES Online is here (almost!). Put September 2020 already in your agenda for N64 Online. The first 20 games available are: Brawl Brothers Demon's Crest Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics Kirby's Dream Land 3 Star Fox Super E.D.F. Earth Defense Force Super Mario Kart Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Super Puyo Puyo 2 Super Tennis Breath of Fire F-Zero Kirby's Dream Course Pilotwings Stunt Race FX Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts Super Mario World Super Metroid Super Soccer The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Additionally, members can purchase a wireless SNES controller which charges through USB-C for €29,99/£26,99, available "soon". Pretty happy with that list. Some classics which I played through and through back in the days, but also a couple of games I never touched. I'm up for a sarcastic-clap SNES-a-thon!

So Terry it is! Wonder if they throw in SNK Heroines female Terry as alternative costume.
-
You can always use them for Nintendo's incredible voice chat system through your mobile phone...
-
Nope, not without an adapter of sorts. There are a bunch of USB-C to Bluetooth adapters which you can plug into the Switch's bottom (in handheld) to use BT headphones.

Same here, loved the main game. I haven't started the DLC yet, but did boot up the game for the first time since finishing it and spend an hour picking up chests I missed and doing some challenges. Feels good to be back at it again.
-
For the first time the DLC is on sale in the eShop. Normally they only discounted the Gold Edition which is bad if you already have the main game. Now however the Season Pass and Donkey Kong DLC are 40% off. Picked up the latter as I don't give too much about the Ultra Challenges. Can't wait to start it!

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!

Just wanted to wish you all a motherflippin', space-bendin' happy FEAR INOCULUM day! It's been a while since I bought an album, but I'm picking this up in the weekend. -
Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread

This! I also couldn't finish the jump in the NSMBU level and meant to ask about it but forgot. -
I know, doesn't make it less weird.
-
It is weird that this game is vertical, you are missing so much context by not having the game in landscape. Looks dashing though! Cool to see there are new tracks like the one in Paris. And there are some things I wouldn't mind having in the main game, like costumes and character-exclusive items. Too bad this is a mobile game and not MK9.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Online Thread

So I wanted to use an amiibo FP during our multiplayer session to get some time to grab a drink. The arena had amiibo on, but I couldn't select one in the player menu. What did I do wrong? Do I need to scan an amiibo before opening the room? Also, I need to practice more. -
