I'll need to make sure I complete Zelda by the time Mass Effect comes out because I'll be starting that straight away. It has been an incredible start of the year for games though. I'm still only 3 chapters into Yakuza 0 so I need get back to that. I'll be buying Horizon when theres finally a lull and Persona 5 is an absolute must for me.

That thread was created because people didnt feel able to talk freely in the normal Switch thread due to the very issues we are talking about now. I dont think its at odds about what I'm saying at all. I would much rather that thread had never existed but unfortunately it needed to. I have a feeling some of us are never going to see eye to eye on this. I come here to talk about gaming, the good and the bad. I'm not ever going to feel bad about going into a thread and having something negative to say and neither should you. You go into the Destiny thread and say what you want to say about it. It creates discussion. The "reveling in failure" thing may be true, who knows. I know thats not why I post but I think by you assuming that you are just helping keep any problems going. If you go into a thread with those assumptions how will it ever change?

I know you can turn the Sheikah Sensor on and off but it would be nice if you could mute it so the image still flashed when you are going in the right direction but you didn't get the annoying beeping.

Managed to finish off all the towers last night. I think for now that'll be my wandering done with and I'll start to focus more on quests then just do shrines if I come across them. Back to Gerudo Town first.

Think I might have to rearrange my HDMI cables as it seems having the Switch connected to the HDMI switcher when I'm using the PS4 (also in the same switcher) is messing things about a bit and the PS4 feed keeps cutting out for a few seconds. I assume there must be enough power going through the Switch in sleep mode that it confuses things.

They never will be stopped though because there is nothing wrong with them. Positive or negative it's still just conversation. You say you don't go into the Xbox One thread because you have no interest in it. That's fine but this is a NINTENDO forum so at one point or another pretty much everyone will have had an interest in Nintendo and will be interested in talking about them, good or bad. You cannot police the forum and have it only positive posts. That's no way to have proper discussions. There have been very few arguments in the new Switch thread since the launch despite both positive and negative posts. Just King V being weird about school kids opinions and you trying to dictate what people should and should not post.

I expect if @Goafer is free he would probably want to. He'd been talking about wanting an NE meet there at some point.

If it did end up being a port of the Wii U Smash Bros I doubt I'd get it. I just didnt enjoy that Smash all that much for some reason.

No I had wondered that myself. Maybe thats been the one that sells the best previously on other platforms?

The episodic model was incredible for Hitman. In my opinion it worked perfectly and kept the game fresh.

Not a problem with the Switch itself but god damn my muscle memory! The amount of times I keep pressing A to try and back out of something or B to select something!

I actually think the forum has been doing a bit better lately. There have been issues with the Switch but for the most part I've felt like I can talk about them without getting piled on. Granted I still have Ronnie on ignore so there may still be some of that stuff but its just seemed better. I do want to pull up the quote from Clownferret from the other day as it really did seem like a step backwards to the days when we were getting people where they could and couldn't post. Thankfully pretty much everyone rallied against it but it still definitely rubbed me the wrong way:

I havent properly cared about achievements/trophies since the 360 but I do find them helpful in seeing how far other people are in games. I wont deny though that I still get a sense of satisfaction seeing a trophy pop up on my PS4. I would like to have seen a system on the Switch.

As far as I know you'd only be able to link one account but I'm by no means an expert here. You just make a new account, link it to the new profile on the Switch and then play them that way. Any profile after that can play the games downloaded from the Japanese profile.

Planning on reading some more manga now I have my new kindle on the way. I've just ordered One Piece vol.1. Any other suggestions? I own all of FMA so I wont be re-buying those digitally.

Yeah I ended up going with the Paperwhite. Losing the bezel would have been nice but not £50-60 nice.

Create the Japanese account on accounts.nintendo.com and make sure you choose Japan and then you just link a new profile on the Switch to that then yeah, nice and easy.

Just got my arse kicked by the computer in the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo. Lot of fun though. I'll probably get the digital Switch version when its released as I expect it'll be another good podcast/video in the background game to play in handheld mode.

Could I get that link? Might try and upgrade a bit myself.
