Personally I dont see many reviews as inept, I just think that games journalism has become more and more personality based over the years so as you tend to know more about the reviewers themselves, you probably understand their preferences and reasons for saying what they do. Its why I tend to mainly stick with Giant Bomb for their content, I follow them every week and know who's taste in games is similar to my own etc.

Not a lot I would buy personally or would just buy elsewhere but definitely a nice collection of games for the rest of you. Shows effort was put in to work with the Indies.

I never really got into 2 like I did the first Runner. I don't know if it was the change in art style or what but I lost interest pretty quickly.

I have two copies of Rocket League and didnt pay for either. If it did come to Switch I would expect the same! lol

Just means that you are further down the preorder queue. Unfortunately paying early doesnt bump you up the list.

Hopefully ShopTo have actually shipped for you but they will sometimes set items to shipped and all that means is that they're on a pallet in their warehouse waiting to be dispatched later in the week.

I watched Giant Bomb play that Disc Jam game recently and that looked pretty good. People seem to think it has the potential to be a Rocket League type hit.

For me the hope for the VC came from the original rumours that the GameCube VC would be available at launch. After that seemed less likely I just figured having a few NES/SNES games at launch would help pad out the launch lineup. I never bought any VC games from the Wii or Wii U.

I played through the beta missions on Saturday with @Goafer. I thought it seemed pretty good, definitely something I'd like to play through properly but I think we both agreed it would probably be one we wait until it's under £20 to buy.
