I actually really enjoyed their commentary this year. While they are my preferred gaming site I have in the past had the same issue but I thought they struck a good balance this year. They were pretty positive about the MS conference as a whole by the end.

Looks like the Steam Summer Sale should be starting this Thursday. I don't look forward to it like I used to with all the changes they've made but I may still pick up a couple of games.

I think its just Octopath Traveller and Smash Bros on that list for me and both of those are maybes as it is.

I haven't yet. Might try and watch it today.

I doubt there is a particularly big backlash, just as usual the vocal minority. I have absolutely no issue with it being in first person, it’s a viewpoint not a style of game.

Been driving myself nuts all week waiting for results on a blood test my nephew had to have as the doctors were worried he could have something serious. Still waiting on them

I don't mean its not technically possible and that's the problem. I mean that its something Epic have agreed to with Sony and on a technical level they are the ones who have implemented it, that's all.

I know its Sony, I said that. I was talking more technically than anything.

I couldn't get along with the building feature either, its why I ended up sticking with PUBG for my battle royale game. From what I've seen though it is necessary in that game if you want to do really well.

I have no doubt that its probably Sony's fault due to their stance on cross platform play but the actual account linking issue will be Epic. Sony would have no control over that.

I think it's quite clever to drop the '6' and just call it Infinite. Makes people think it might be a brand new game set in the Halo universe, which is why perhaps a lot of people were checking it out. It does make sense in that regard but it still seems weird to drop the numbering at the very end of your second trilogy.

Just completed the game. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to working on some side quests now.

Just finished watching. Smash Bros is a maybe from me I guess but absolutely nothing else I want. Easily the worst presentation of E3 for me. I was falling asleep by the end of the Smash stuff.

From the stuff shown at Sony's conference, I plan to get: Spider-Man Ghost of Tsushima Control Kingdom Hearts III (Maybe) Death Stranding (Maybe but I'm less interested now)

I'm interested enough that I'm willing to give it a chance. It will live or die depending on how it deals with griefers obviously but all we can really do is wait and see.

I think Sony had a great collection of games shown. I just think they tried something different format-wise that didn’t work.

Very weird pace but some great games shown.
