For anyone who was like me and didn't want to give his video hits. Here's the transcript stolen from Era.

I wouldnt go that far personally. I still love Star Trek II, III, IV, VI and First Contact. Even the others are watchable. I think the Motion Picture is the only one I find a bit of a slog to get through.

Some of these I may confuse with their Mega Drive counterparts as I'm much more familiar with them. I know some were actually quite different. I found Into Darkness so fucking terrible that it soured me on the entire Kelvinverse.

How long until someone tracks down the video he copied to make this explanation video? Calling out Kotaku and Jason Schrier was pathetic. This entire thing is his own fault and he is just upset he got caught.

Is there a list anywhere of retro gaming stores in the uk? I’m sure I’ve searched on Google before but nothing ever seems current or accurate enough.

Thinking about 3D printing myself 1 or 2 of these stands so I could actually start displaying some of my SNES collection. I was also hoping to find a 3D file for dust covers but annoyingly so far I'm only finding them for NTSC versions as they had them properly so were probably easier to model. Might have to try and design one myself. Edit: Did managed to find some Mega Drive/Genesis dust covers though which will be helpful.

I've seen the first episode and it seemed alright. I'm sure I'll get back to watching more at some point.

It depends how much you could be bothered to do the transfers before playing it but you could set up some cloud storage so you could play it in both Pi and phone.

Yeah hopefully it is just an odd one or two that won’t for specific reasons yer just covering themselves it’s that line and not something like the streaming which should just work across the board but doesn’t.

Seems odd that only certain games will have cloud saves.

I expect if they ever did start doing the kind of review then there would be some kind of notifier that the game was never finished. That’s kind of the point, they’d be telling people that this game is so bad that they either couldn’t finish it or simply didn’t see the point. It is interesting though how as Jeff mentions, it’s harder these days to find someone’s full thoughts on a game unless you follow ough all their different media. I’m a premium member of GB so I know of Jeff’s dislike of the Crew 2 through various videos and discussions on the Bombcast but not everyone follows all that. Good though that they are actively thinking about stuff like that and their site could start to have sections under the game pages to at least show which videos/podcasts have opinions in or instead of having actual reviews, maybe just some kind of written summation of their thoughts.

Giant Bomb had an interesting discussion on reviews during the Bombcast this week after quickly talking about the plagiarism stuff. Starts off with just an email asking if they still enjoy writing but kind of evolves into Jeff talking about reviews. Its worth a listen. Its at about 2:13 in the video.

My school takes a photocopy of ID on the day of the interview and usually lines up references pretty early as well.

God that was an evil boss battle against Magus. Made so much worse by all the stuff that comes before it with no chance to stock up on items again. I'm amazed I managed to get through it!

The actors (apart from Billy's) were bland and forgettable, the costumes were terrible, the Zords were terrible and there was barely any fighting!

I think I can finally just accept that Smash Bros isn't for me. I haven't liked one since Melee so maybe I should just stop trying
