I couldn't care less what David Perry says after all his lets call it influence is next to zero. Yeah Messiah was a cool game but after that .... lets cast the shadow of mercy about that time. FACT Yamauchi > Iwata > ... > David Perry It was Yamauchi who lead Nintendo with an iron fist and without him there wouldn't be Nintendo now. Time has changed and that is why Iwata is successfull. A generation or two ago I doubt the Wii would have been that much of a victory console. Mhm victory gin....

The Wii sells excellent but the demographic also shows that the 360 and PS3 user base is much more in the target range of a adult mafia action game. As long as publishers make money with the Wii without wasting much resources they will spend it on big games for 360 and PS3. PS: Mafia is still one of the best games I have ever played!

Yeah thats a quite cood card especially the power features of mobile NVIDIA GPUs are very usefull. It is very comfortable if you are typing text and your RAM/GPU go down a few hundred MHz to save power and stop the fan from running. Never get a GPU which uses main memory ... never get ATI

Probably they mean the comic look or something. I liked Worms 4 because in 3D tactical gaming is much more sophisticated. I hope for a Worms 4 in a 50s SciFi setting with less of a cartoony look but more dark and serious theme.

Both North Korea and the Iran are possible targets but the problem is compared to those two the war in Iraq is/was a walk in the park fighting little girls. Irans leader is the religious Ajatollah the president is just someone to say the things he was told. For a war the terrain in Iran is completly different with a lot of forests and hills instead of plains like in Iraq. I do hope that problems can be solved in a civilized manner ... I am more curious what happens with Israel and their "he we suffered a long time ago" wildcard in the near future....

If Valve would like it they could do it but I doubt they regard the Wii as a primary target for their HL/Team Fortress franchise. They will probably start with a smaller budget game and if it sells well I am sure they will start to increase effort on the Wii.

Well if the motherboard supports your RAM it doesn't have any effect on your CPU just the general performance depending on size, latency, clock. For what purpose do you want to use that build? Pure office work seems to be out of question as is gaming when I look at the specifications. Monster CPU but low-end GPU, 2GB RAM only, .... Can't really see in which direction you want to go. Also I would check how many RAM slots you have - because if there are only 2 either use a 2GB stick if supported (think DUAL thingy needs two all the time) or 2 x 2GB. Because with this configuration so far you could buy a notebook (alright Core 2 Quad not ready for notebooks yet) aswell - same specs a bit more expensive maybe but portable

There are private Nintendo shows? I doubt you will miss a lot there - maybe you can play a few games under the eyes of a Ninty rep but that will be about it. I am too lazy to go there - even though it would be only 600km it is not worth the gas money. Maybe once the show gets a little bit bigger with real conferences, shows and stuff.

Sure but I guess since the Wii iteration of Metroid looks better - texture size, geometry, etc. have got bigger. So better looking games with the same loading time is more than acceptable in my eyes. I don't mind that some doors take a bit until they open - my anticipation of whats next just gets bigger and nothing destroys atmosphere more than a "NOW LOADING" screen.
