That software is quite good in my eyes - especially because you have done it on your own. Now once you consider this version "done" don't you want to start a easy to use DVD to AVI tool ?

Generally it does what it name says. It is a a operating system primary for server use. It comes with a HTTP server, tools for administrators to control workstations, has increased security/stability. It is nothing a ordinary computer user would need. There are no real benefits beside compatibility issues with hard and software for the general use. Like in the early days of Windows 2000 - where nearly no games run, hardware support was below average, ...

Uhm no. Camelot did a few games for Nintendo out of good will and mutual agreement - now they focus on some online golf games for PC. I bet Camelot has the better resources (developer, ideas, franchise) for a lot less money.

Well Kuju and Retro are great in my eyes. My problem is that I never really got into Baten Kaitos and therfor I am not to happy about that whole deal. There could have been much better deals. I wonder if those guys are really that great if Nintendo puts money on the table or maybe Namco give them away for less than expected. But my initial statement is still valid - I think the money was spent on the wrong company.

Meh. Why not Camelot ... better franchise, Namco not involved and to be honest without tri-Crescendo Baten Kaitos is nothing.

Galaxy, Brawl, Prime have a 2007 date for Japan, TBA for USA and are not even listed for Europe. Goodbye at least 2 of those games for 2007 in Europe. I guess we have to be happy with Super Paper Mario and one of the three games for 2007. Well somehow I am not even surprised.

2007 Office Home and Student is available for everyone if I remember correctly - only down side from standard version is that you don't get Outlook 2007. It has Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Another way to get MS software for free is over MSDNAA - many universities have contracts with MS so students get the software for free (really depends on the university how you qualiy, I just have to make certain courses). Downside is that you don't get Office from there only Vista/XP/Visual Studio/...

Excuse me? MS Office is a great product which is worth buying . Especially if you can get Office 2007 Home and Student for 130€ - that is about 2 console games. OpenOffice is a nice alternative I agree but still no match for Office 2007.

I still wonder why Nintendo demanded to use gamecarts, special DVDs, etc. for decades to nearly extinguish piracy on their system and with the Wii they let everything slip out of their hands. Wii mod chips are basicly GC mod chips and Nintendo must have known about them. Only thing they guard like hell hounds is the virtual console and homebrewn (where as the last would actually be quite cool for some developers).

I generally if the weather allows it go out into the sun, laying at a lake with a few friends or just in the huge park we have here. It is full of people in the grass, there is a nice cafe around the corner, you can get icecream and if you like you can have some privacy aswell or play frisbee, beach volleyball, etc. Because maybe she feels uncomfortable all alone (no offense to you of course) and so a place where a few people walk around might be better. I would rather not take that as full date - more like a second chance to get to know each other. Take it slow and look what happens - just don't fall in love to soon and easily. Just to reassure you that beside my crappy english I know what I am talking about - I live with my girlfriend together since over 4 years.

According to (unconfirmed) Famitsu reports the game is set for a 2008 release in Japan. I guess this game will disappear from my gaming radar until winter holidays 2007.

From 18. April (at least I did not read about any other delay) to 3. May its a bit more than 5 days - not really tragic but still. I wonder what Capcom did all the time - I bet this forum could make an equally good translation in less time

What are you using to write this whole thing? With a decent LaTex template I guess it would be very easy to just fill in text/screenshots and keep the same layout.

Would you really want Nintendo to dedicate resources to a unknown publisher with nothing but an idea? In an ideal world I would say yes go for it but right now Nintendo should rather: - Finish their own games - Put more effort into localisation and general PAL "help" and if money is left to spend - why not give Camelot, Zoonami or any other developer with a much better portfolio a money boost.

Strange, here in Austria nearly every store has more than enough Wiis. I just checked out 2 electronic stores and both had over 10 Wiis, more than enough Wiimotes and Nunchucks, component cables, Wii Point cards. Either demand is a lot less than expected or we are just lucky

Well what I still don't understand is why Wii developers have to use Bullshots. The damn console is a lot better than the Gamecube and still I don't see any decent FSAA.

Why? 80% of the code can be used from the GC version, 10% Wiimote stuff, 10% PS2 features and you are down.

I personally could happily go without GTA4 if Take2 would bring a remake or even original version of the Civilization franchise to the Wii - where it would perfectly fit with online play and Wiimote. But all Nintendo will get is 2k Sports stuff ...

So a financially dead publisher should help out the Wii ... with sport games. Yeah I can read goods news into anything. Again no solid confirmation of anything intereseting. Reggie again said nothing really important or new. It would be insanse for Take2 to miss out the Wii - so a few sport games to make some quick cash on a console without a strong lineup for the next few months makes even sense to a monkey.
