Well the cheapest is orange with £5 a month but that is crap. Virgin have the best £10 offer out there so stick with what you've chosen.

I think calling it bloatware is too kind. Its all essentially crapware. I haven't had much fun with acer. Their support for when your laptop is screwed sucks. I had to send my aspire back twice before I got the problem sorted and I knew it would be down hill from there. I would say keep the Mcafee trial, and then bin it once it is over. That is of course if its not protecting all that crapware from being removed.

Yeah SSD's are pretty damn expensive at the moment, but eventually that technology will be more affordable. Things just eventually be comes easier to produce and market competition will help drive prices down quite quickly. Its not say as bad as this: Of course back then that was merely a dream for many people. 10 whole MB of storage. Something you could only dream of. Anyway another little app / service to help aid in the win 7 move for some: Ninite

I would get a small one for OS only purposes. Can shorten boot time to 10 seconds or less in some instances.

I think what I'm not going to enjoy the most is sorting steam out. And also re installing a few things. But 64 bit and win 7 should be able to make more of my hardware, and I might slap in that 2 gig of ram I was flogging a while back. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html this might help you with the move, grabbing serial numbers and giving you a list of installed programs.

I was just about to reply saying you have to check out these crisps until I decided to see the second page. These crisps are LEGENDARY As crazy as it may sound they have REAL bacon and REAL cream cheese in. None of this faux flavoured crap. Not suitable for vegetarians because this has real meat in. And well worth whatever any shop is charging.

Got back from a business meeting in Wales. Didn't know the execs could knock em back that well. Downloaded windows 7 and got my rentals in from Lovefilm. And guess what..... finally going to play....... twilight princess.

Hi Lads, I need to drop out for the next season and come back for season 12. Just won't be around as much as I've got loads of work based travelling to do and wifi ain't cheap so I'll probably avoid it. If its easier I could vanish for good and sign up with another team at a later date or someone could take on the shambles that is Made of Win.

I would say make reference to my post at the top of the page. You can apparently even do an install on the upgrade version without having an OS already on the machine. At least with the student offer they were doing.

And normally after you do that you can often do it via a simple text message any time you want to top up after that. When I was on P&G I was always doing a quick top up. just the amount and a bit of my card number and security code to my operator's main number. If you save it as a text its so simple to top up whenever you want.

I think the lion king is the best disney game I have ever played. I commend you for playing little mermaid as long as you did. I seriously couldn't do a show like this because my attention span is pretty short. All in all a much better timing for the intro. Although I can see you mirroring that bloke from the escapist from time to time. Don't know if it is a good thing, but I just imagine some stick figures acting out whatever you say. -

Well turning off indexing worked for me I was able to get to the app data folder which I couldn't get to before. I was getting the same problems as you with the endless loading. I should probably be more specific. What I did was turn indexing off for drive C. I suppose you could always turn it back on at a later date.

Well with movie maker you could then reconstruct it into 10 minute slots. I would say try media coder but its got quite a learning curve, so next best thing would be to try something from AVS media: http://www.avsmedia.com/ Not sure which one will get the job done, but I would say the video editor package would be your best bet.

Problem is to do with windows file indexing. Happened to me the other day when I needed to get to my app data folder. Explorer just hangs taking up all CPU time and then screwing everything up. The way to get out of it when this happens is to kill explorer exe and then restore it using the start new process command. Apparently turning of indexing or creating a new user account is the only solution. Try turning off indexing in Vista to see if it solves your problem: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/09/17/disable-and-turn-off-windows-vista-search-indexer-and-indexing-service/ Failing that you may need to create a new user account and migrate your data.
