Still haven't picked it up. I'm not all that bothered to tell the truth. Got too many games sitting around left unfinished. I would normally get it for Christmas but it would be a waste of time as the Wii is the showboat of the Christmas period. But yeah impressions so far people. How are you finding it.

What make of PC is it. Often they let you load the hidden partition by pressing a key combination at boot time. Often the key is something like f11.

I would also point you in the direction of the ATi HD5000 series. But I guess it also depends on what OS you decide to go for. But I think Ebuyer do a decent 5000 series for about £120. Edit: from £107. -
Hmm Messenger plus works fine with it for me. I would also say grab the my live messenger skin to fix some of the issues with live messenger also.

Although I had a few problems initially with some games it was no different on vista. But I've got the following running fine with steam: Orange Box, left for dead 2 demo. Not really sure why steam has been so iffy. Maybe it could be a 64 bit issue. Reading around on a lot of other forums. It seem the big offender is half life 2 all around. There have been a few times when trying to run it has just killed my system and I've been forced to restart.

Done and done. Thinking I might hold off this one for a while. Considering I haven't even played the first. I think going back to COD4 after this may end up feeling like a step back.

Won't be buying my 360 until next month. I don't know if I should chance getting the gimped PC version or hold out a while. Oh and flamey that thing you did with the nvg's almost left me with a tea soaked laptop. Hilarious.

Well considering the bill hasn't properly been passed yet, it will be a case of too bad when Microsoft has to do it. If you aren't using IE, you won't see it because you've already found an alternate browser. Its just down to the fact that the EU have been too slow in sorting out their paper work.

Was hit with the flu and I haven't moved a muscle in 2 weeks. Feel really bad about it. Really want to go out jogging but the flu has left me with this smokers cough. But I'll be joining the gym again once I heal up. Too cold outside to keep doing this all naturale stuff.

I posted a few pages back that since nothing has been officially drawn up it isn't yet being enforced. It will be pushed out by windows update to anyone with IE as their default browser when the time comes.

Hmm that's a shame about those ratings. I don't normally get into these TV dramas such as lost and heroes. Girlfriend tried to get me into NCIS, but didn't love it. I found Flash forward to be gripping enough concept wise to keep me hooked. But everything I seem to like ends up in the bin anyway. (Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles)

The last two hours of tv was full of so much BULL. Saw about 20 mins total. I just find it to be a joke. Anyone could make up that crap, even I could have done it. /rant -
Hmm but if I recall correctly that involves taking Lloyd to T type and killing the sword rain alpha combo early because of the rising sword, so the number of hits can vary. Also I don't have a value from doing sword rain into tempest. But I've seen the SRA method quoted as being 33 hits. Haven't been doing much TOS because I've finally managed to get my hands on twilight princess and just discovering what I've been missing for the past 3 years.

That and it makes grown men cry. You've spend ages sorting out your web design it looks beautiful. You do your cross browser testing and it rocks in all of them. Then IE sends your menu off to the right your content has broken out of its box and all your javascript and png's are fubar'd Good times

I'm afraid you've answered all your questions by yourself. Everything you stated from Or is correct. Probably not being too helpful. But laptop parts aren't easy to get a hold of and normally cost more because of that fact. If its out of warranty Acer Esplex charge about £135 just to "look at it." -
Was going for the PC version but it appears it will be as customizable as a toothpick. And since it is basically the xbox 360 game with mouse and keyboard controls added as a 'feature' screw them I'll get it for 360. MW2 PC much worse than you thought

You can just right click and run as administrator. I do it at work all the time saves having to log out and in all the time.

I've been using comodo av ever since I started using Vista on the home pc. I love it. I've got the functionality of zone alarms fire wall and avg rolled into one. I had used a ZA AVG combo for years but they stopped playing nicely with certain programs I had running under vista. And often ZA would kill all internet access completely.

I don't know the license key with a laptop would be a system builder OEM one which is preinstalled by the manufacturer. The version that he grabs would have to be a specific one to accept his key. Maybe not so much with vista but I was reading an article all about it with windows 7, with vista being the catalyst.

Well I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Running win 7 got a Directx 10 card. Not using beta drivers but just whatever win7 installed. Got my ATI catalyst control software installed also. But I can run TF2 just fine. (Can't seem to find any servers but that is another issue) From within steam have you tried right clicking and checking the game files integrity?

Fair enough. Also I would say check firewall / any defense programs you have running. I was having trouble running the orange box collection due to my defense program blocking certain files from running until I had cleared them for system access. Thought I'd mention it as it just happened to me this second trying to launch portal.
