Did anyone download and play PGA Tour 2K21? I nearly have the platinum trophy but one of the two remaining trophies I need to get is creating a private room and completing a round? HELP!

Decided to order a new case for my Game Boy Advance that a guy at work gave me last year as the plastic around the speaker and L&R triggers had yellowed as well as the case colour fading. Only cost £8 and it looks so much better with it mainly for display purposes in the games room. I also recently bought a Game Boy Pocket that a mates sister was selling that is in really good condition. I have no real intention of collecting handhelds but I remember getting this for Christmas in 1996 as a surprise present off my parents. My mum would usually check with my brother before buying anything gaming related that I hadn't asked for but got this without asking my brother and with everything that's happened with my mum over the last 10 months (diagnosed with dementia and moved into a care home), it means so much to have this in my possession.

Just played it on my N64 via everdrive. 20 years I waited to play it. Was so hyped for this game back in the day with the previews in N64 magazine. Looks and sounds fantastic for an N64 game. Wouldn't expect anything less from Rare. Unfortunately it crashed on me just as I was starting with Sabre. Didn't save beforehand either.... I see Resident Evil 0 and Twelve Tales being mentioned but what about the N64 version of Eternal Darkness?

Forgot about Yooka Laylee, was going to pick that up on the PS4 at some point. Regarding online games, I tend to be playing in short spurts at the moment so not ideal for me.

Took advantage of the 3 months for £1 offer. Recommend me some Xbox One exclusives to play. Currently playing through Gears 5. Thinking Halo 5 after that.

Tempted but lack of voice chat is a big factor. I'm not using the PS4 party chat to communicate on another console's game in 2021.

For me, in 2021, I need Nintendo to give me a reason to buy the Switch. At the moment there's only 2 games I want to play on it. Super Mario Odyssey & Luigi's Mansion 3 Unfortunately they aren't enough for me to justify buying one. Now if one of those titles was Mario Kart 9, that'd be different but that's clearly being saved for the successor to the Switch. I think Nintendo have become incredibly lazy due to the success of the Switch and relied way too much on Wii U Ports to fill up the release schedule. I get that not many people played those games but still, what about your hardcore fan base who stuck with you during the Wii U years It's been weird sitting out on the Switch so far, as going back to the NES and Gameboy, I've always bought Nintendo's consoles and handhelds at launch or just after.

Was going to create a separate thread to ask this but I think here is fine. What are your 3 best retro gaming bargains pick ups over the years, whether it be from a games store, car boots or eBay. Mine would be 1. Space Harrier for the 32X, boxed with instructions and inserts. £3 at a car boot. This is the only time I've ever seen a 32X game at a car boot. 2. Sega Saturn with 2 controllers and Sega Rally (unboxed). £1.50 at a car boot. Again, the only time I've seen a saturn at a car boot. Still works great. 3. Gameboy Player with disc, £2 at a car boot. I've had a crazy amount of luck over the years with car boots but its become a lot harder to find bargains with everyone these days having access to CEX & eBay on their phones. I don't own a switch and played Mario Kart 8 to death on the Wii U. Maybe people are just bored of playing Mario Kart 8 after 6 years.

How have you managed to hold off buying this for so long? I doubt you've managed to avoid spoilers until now. I think I got it a week after launch due to spoilers popping up all over youtube and not wanting them to ruin the experience for me.

A guy at work was telling me how he had been helping his parents clear out their loft and had come across some games and a gameboy. I asked what he did with them as I collect old games and consoles. His response, put them all in the skip.... Luckily he got them out of the skip for me and said if he comes across anything else, I can have them too. Not the best of games but there are a few gems in there. The gameboy advance was in a right state. I took it apart, cleaned everything and ordered a new lens as the original was scratched to death Quite happy with it now

Finished it last Wednesday, took just under 29 hours in total. Absolutely amazing game which looks incredible on the Pro. Lost count of the number of times I just stopped for a few minutes to take everything in. Held off on my second playthrough until I had played the first game and Left Behind again. Hopefully we have some DLC around the PS5 launch

Just watched the highlights for the AEW Double or Nothing PPV. Really impressed, hopefully they build on this and put out an incredible weekly show. Also, someone posted this on resetera. God I miss WCW.

Funnily enough I was going to message you last night saying "I'm going to have to buy Monster Hunter World again aren't I?" Have we got any pricing yet for how much the full game and expansion will cost together?

No game in particular for me but if I ever feel a bit down, I'll go into my retro games room. I'll either play a game or do a simple thing like just picking up a game off the shelf and looking at the box art and reminisce. Takes me back to my childhood when things were a lot simpler.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Microsoft announce for the Switch. Halo, Rare Replay, Killer Instinct, Rare Smash DLC. Who knows! Also, Animal Crossing. If there is one game that will make me finally buy a Switch, it's that.

Yeah, it started out with a small unit for the retro consoles I didn't sell, then I started picking up games, consoles and game/movie figurines from car boots and it quickly spread to a whole room. That TV I have on the unit weighs a tonne, I can't go any bigger with a CRT on the unit. You'll notice I've reinforced the unit under the TV. When that TV dies, I'll replace it with a modern tv and then I'll have room for the 360, PS3 and Wii U. The plan is to get some gaming canvas art to go behind the TV to fill the gap but yet to find any I like
