  1. I have plenty and I even have a backlog. And there's too little time before mario makers comes out. Bloodstaines comes out on the same day and Mutant year zero just a few days before it. help!
  2. It's already back to being slow again.
  3. Your presence has fixed it. Hurray! But no, definitely not a blip. It was like that since this morning.
  4. Apparently I (or anyone else) never created a thread for this unique MetroidVania, but the game got a patch a week ago, which I suspect fixes most if not all the minor issues I had with the game. At this point it's been while for me now, but with this patch I'm kind of itching to experience the game again soon. I should post some full impressions later.. Although I did post about it in the Switch E-shop thread. While at this point it's eclipsed by Hollow Knight like all MetroidVanias on Switch are), it's still a very unique MetroidVania that's still worth giving a try if you're a fan of the genre, as the experience is very different from the typical MetroidVania out there. It's main selling point is its unique movement system, where you never walk or run, but jump to everywhere you want to go. It feels great when you get the hang of it, but it really takes some getting used to, and makes the game pretty difficult. The latest patch seems to deal mostly with difficulty.. Even apart from the movement, it's pretty unique in its artstyle and general atmosphere. With the developers based in Brazil, the game is inspired by Brazilian folklore. This gives it a very mystical atmosphere, but not even a typical one.. It feels very exotic, especially combined with the ambient music. I personally loved it. Even when using pixelart, the artstyle also sets it apart from other games in the genre. There's the Dark Souls inspired upgrade system, you can upgrade some skills and stats at savepoints, but you need "salt" (souls) to do so, gotten from defeating enemies. if you die, you lose the salt. There's still a chance for you to get it back etc. This is the other factor in the high difficulty. Some rooms feel a bit unfair, as you can't move out of the way, only jump, but some enemy placements are just really annoying. There are even one hit kill environmental hazards. These were my issues with the game, but the patch seems to address that, so want to see for myself if this improves the game even more. Apart from the general difficulty, I really enjoyed the game.
  5. Site's pretty slow for me today..
  6. Maybe now on Switch they can finally detect such shenanigans? Maybe it's Resetti's new job? Otherwise I also don't see the point of disabling cloudsaves.
  7. Well, like I said. Regardless of my opinion, these are the facts. The sooner you accept that, the sooner we can all move on. So I'll drop it after this post.
  8. I didn't want to discuss it further, but this article (and several others before it) popped up. I'm simply right. https://www.siliconera.com/2019/06/16/game-freak-says-it-will-be-hard-for-all-pokemon-to-appear-even-in-games-after-pokemon-sword-shield/ Look, it's not entirely your fault, GameFreak created this expectancy by introducing backwards compatibility for all previous games in the first place. It's easy for me to say now, in hindsight, and as someone who's not a hardcore fan, but in my opinion they created this problem themselves, and should never have introduced backwards compatibility in silver & gold in the first place, so fans wouldn't expect this for future games. At the very least they should have stopped adding this feature with the transition to 3D. Like I said, personally I don't see the point of the ability to transfer all your Pokémon to a future game anyway. Don't you want to play a new game? Or just stomp on everything with your old team of all level 100 Pokémon? And for competitive play you can just play the old game if you really want to play with a team from a certain generation? For collection purposes there should simply be a global Pokédex. But anyway, regardless of my opinion.. This is just reality. 1000+ Pokémon are unmanageble. This will only get worse for future games, so hardcore fans simply need to let go of being able to transfer all your Pokémon. It's simply unrealistic. If you want all Pokémon, you'd be waiting at least an extra year for Sword and Shield, perhaps even more, and this is only going to increase development time for future games. It will also be a huge factor in limiting real progress, like updated visuals, a bigger and more detailed worlds and improved mechanics and balancing. Eventually, you want pokémon to look like how they do in Detective Pikachu right? Well guess what, there's no convert button for that. Complain all you want, this is just reality. The sooner you can let go, the sooner they can focus on real improvements. In my opinion, they should drop the the ability to transfer Pokémon altogether.
  9. Don't ask any questions, I don't have any anwsers.

  11. Yeah.. The video is little bit ehh "typical". It's genuinely an interesting project though. You can play the game without watching the video.
  12. http://www.infernoplus.com/royale/#main Play it while it's still up. Seriously though, they should make this the new Tetris 99. Unlike Tetris, I'd actually play this.
  13. No it's being teased at the moment. Oh and considering their other releases, you'll (we'll?) probably have to import this.
  14. Even though I own a pretty mint copy of the Cube version.. I would like to play an HD version with a few extra features. Plus the boxart is nicer!
  15. I was also enamored by this particular game: ..Despite the farm sim elements. @Treehouse:

  18. He probably could have picked a better date:
  19. It's not a huge problem no, but it's not like I can't play the game right now. The cartridge is for the collection and support, but it's most useful if it's complete, so I'll wait.
  20. I thought quite the opposite. Not really impressed with the visuals or gameplay, but then again, the game's still in development, and it definitely has potential.
  21. I can. I stopped the video. I'll either go check what I missed or go pre-order more games.
  22. No it will be downloaded. It's included, but simply not on the cartridge, eventhough it's supposed to be. https://gonintendo.com/stories/337023-fangamer-explains-why-hollow-knight-s-retail-release-was-missing
  23. Oh just a heads up: the initial run of Hollow Knight is missing some of the DLC. Something went wrong, in the US they already offered future replacements. I pre-ordered it a few days ago, but kept this in mind, and fangamer comfirmed the EU copies have the same problem, so I cancelled it. I'll order when it's "safe".
  24. I'm not watching any footage. Unlike Hollow Knight, I want to go in completely blind (apart from the trailer), not touching any wikis which won't be there in the first place initially anyway.
