You guys are making me take note. Never played the first, but I'll give Psychonauts 2 a try whenever I get something that I can play it on.
-
I don't think anyone here said anything about the original 150. I just think a smalller number would be better, I'll leave the selection up to the devs.
-
Yeah, I just saw that trailer above, and was about to post about it, as an example of great graphics. I think we'd get better games by now if they didn't have to spend time porting an insane number of Pokémon. I wouldn't mind going back to 150 or less if it meant something that looked like that trailer above. I'm interested in Arceus, but can't say I'm hyped.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/penguinrik/goodboy-galaxy-exploration-platform-game-gba-pc-and-switch This looks great, but the regular GBA tier is no longer available..

I have pre-ordered this last-minute, but won't be able to play this immediately. Ordered Travis Strikes Back along with it, so my collection will be complete.

That's a very simple problem. Personally, I'd go for basic, because I wouldn't ever want to buy an old computer from work. It's almost 2nd hand. You're buying an old computer. Plus like you said, you don't know if you're still working there. But yeah, weird policy. Can you opt for the premium computer for no extra cost, but without the option to buy it afterwards? If you decided those aren't problems, then it's simple maths. Is "buying" this computer in 3 years, cheaper than buying a 2nd hand computer through regular means? You'd have to look at current 3 year old equivalents to compare. If it's cheaper, do it, otherwise don't. One caveat are current marketprices, which may inflate 2nd hand prices as well. It may be hard to compare.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC)

Looks absolutely great, and I'll be picking April 90% of the time! -
That's an absolute meaningless trailer.. I have no idea what's going on story-wise, and I want to see gameplay. The only thing that is making me take note is that this is apparently the new Firaxis project. But the gameplay trailer had better be good, because this trailer isn't doing it for me.

You got another chance. -
Yeah I'm hyped.Too bad we need to sit out 2 other films first. I'm kidding, I'm slightly warming up to Eternals, and to lesser extent Shang Chi. Apparently the leaked trailer from yesterday showed some other stuff, but I haven't seen it. This was apparently terrible footage from production shots, so I won't bother with it, glad I waited for the official one. Edit: Don't think I've commented on the series here. I've seen them all in almost 1 go. I don't think they're top quality, and I'm kind of annoyed I'm going to have to see them to get the full MCU story (although I've missed other stuff as well). I like 'm somewhat, but I don't think they work as standalone series or seasons. Wanda had some cool ideas, I genuinely laughed at the comedy bits. I loved the vibe of Loki the most. But I don't think any of them are particularly well written. Loki.. that's not a way to end the season. Cool setup for future MCU stuff? Sure, but an incredible annoying last episode, that was basically one big post/mid credit scene. I don't like a lot of character arcs. Falc+soldier was the worst for me, I don't like what they did to Sharon Carter, that makes no sense. New Captain America was also such a cool idea, but I don't think they got the most out of that character. Same for that terrorist group. I liked getting to see more of Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson, but I wasn't impressed by the overall story or the other character developments. In Wanda, Monica Rambeau's introduction felt forced and I didn't care about her at all. I'll give Hawkeye a chance, as well as Loki S2 and the other new shows, but if they all fail to impress me I can imagine simply dropping watching the shows at some point. I'll just read the spoilers. So far, they've mostly been good for setting other stuff up, and some good character development / background info for most of the main characters. Speaking of Hawkeye though, I must be in the minority who's seen Valentina's introduction in the proper order. I've seen Black Widow before I saw falc+soldier. Oh and speaking of Black Widow I guess.. It was ok. Somewhat disappointing. I liked the first part. In my opinion they should have gone full spy movie on this.. Bond (or Atomic Blonde if you will) with some Marvel action thrown in. The whole skybase thing didn't really suit it. It's a shame, I wish Black Widow and Scarlett got a proper sendoff, this isn't it. But I'm stoked about Florence Pugh and Julie Louis-Dreyfus being in the MCU.

Check the link carefully, as there are various things going on. If you have a Lego account and collect VIP points, it seems you get some free ones for example, and there's a prize draw at the bottom of that page.

I'm wondering if it's a remake of the old arcade game. Starting to feel like I prefer the old pixelart, as the artstyle seems slightly off, as in "not quite the comic style".

I came across this last week, perhaps it would interest you as well:

Feels a bit weird bumping this one, but I quickly wanted to comment on Twelve Minutes which I believe is an XBox exclusive, though I played it on Steam. After the disappointment that was Loop Hero, which I absolutely hate, comes another. But Twelve Minutes doesn't have the excuse of being a roguelite. On paper, it looks like it would be something I'm into. A Timeloop point & click adventure. But it's an example of cool concept poor execution. I can forgive a bit of jankiness (slow mousepointer, a softlock at one point because an npc couldn't figure out what to do etc), but some mechanics already got more annoying and tedious. One thing that's a Point&click sin in my opinion, is having to click on something twice (or thrice even) to discover something and progress. There was no story reason to do so. At this point I started looking at guides, as it was becoming too much trial and error. Then there's the problem of scale. You think limiting the scope to an apartment would make things easier for the developers, but they actually made things too ambitious by making it a game that's focussed on story and dialogue. In any other timeloop game I've played, if you fail in one loop, you go try something else in the next. While on the one hand I've seen a lot of variations of how things play out, on the other hand it doesn't feel like nearly enough. There's not actually a whole lot you can click on, but npc's may react differently depending on what was said earlier. And this is where you can see the devs didn't account for a lot of stuff. One example, the guy that invades your home, wants a particular pocketwatch. If you put the pocketwatch on the table, and hide in the closet, that guy simply ignores the pocketwatch at first, and always goes looking for you in the closet even if he has no reason to do so. That's not how I expected it to play out. And there are a lot of examples of "wouldn't it be easier of I could say this or that". And the trial and error gets tedious. If you want to try out a small variation at the end of the loop, you'll have to repeat a lot of actions a lot of time, and there's plenty of waiting involved. There is some streamlining (in certain situations you can fast forward), but overall it's still tedious. Then the story itself. Can't fully comment on it as I haven't finished it (yet?). I was intrigued at first, but the last twist had me facepalming. "No they're not doing that are they?" It's so convoluted. Maybe if the writing was good they could make it work, but what I've seen so far doesn't convince me they can, and I'm at a point where I barely care to continue. I also have no idea why they decided to cast James McAvoy, Daisy Ridly and Willem Dafoe. The characters don't have their likeness, and James McAvoy and Daisy Ridley don't sound like themselves either (American accents). Why bother casting them? They're also not voice actors, and aren't super convincing. I mean, I've heard much worse too, but still. Willem Dafoe is recognizable, and also the best performance, but I don't know why they didn't simply cast voice actors instead. Anyway, that's more text than I had in mind for a short indie game, but there you have it. I don't recommend it, and I doubt my opinion is going to change if I continue playing it.

Well in any case, don't do that (unless money really isn't any objection). You'd have to look at reviews to see how that ZV-E10 performs, for both vlogging, and still photography. Here's what I'd buy, if I had the money: A Sony A6600 with a Zeiss Loxia 21mm lens. Mirrorless because I want something compact, Sony because they have one of the best sensors, the Zeiss Loxia because of its image quality and size (it's very compact), 21mm because that's 31.5mm equivalent if I understand correctly, and I like shooting land- and cityscapes / streetphotography so I need something wide. The only downside is the lens doesn't have a low aperture, and I like shooting in the dark, so my 2nd lens would compensate for that particularly. I personally would buy a body only (without kitlens), and I have a strong preference for primes. But that is to demonstrate what I'd like because even with my limited experience, I roughly know what I want, and you probably need to still figure that out. In your case you may want a kit zoomlens, just to figure out what focal lengths you want to use. For Twitch, you're just going to need one prime, probably wide, but it depends on your set-up, so you'll need to figure that one out. For family photos, it depends a bit on what exactly you mean by that, but you'd probably want something wide and standard. If you actually mean formal portraits than obviously a portrait/telelens would be nice, but I'm suspecting more action orientated (running kids) or in the moment pictures. But again, this is why a kitlens in your case would come in handy, just so you can figure out what you need. Long story short: don't just buy stuff (I know it's tempting..), figure out what you need first, make sure you're actually going to use what you want to buy. Couldn't quite capture that landscape last time? Buy a wide lens. Couldn't get close enough to that bird? Buy a telelens. Etc. To come back to that ZV-E10, again, personally I haven't really looked into it, and you should read reviews, but from what I can quickly glance is that one of it's features that make it suitable for out-of-the-box vlogging is the built-in microphone. Generally, if you shoot video, you don't want to use the built-in mic, so I assume this one is of much better quality than the average built-in mic. Probably perfect for Twitch and webcam use, though in other situations you may still want to use external mics.

She's here, and I'm open. I can re-open later if you can't make it now. Redd here too, but @BowserBasher is already on his way to claim the real amazing painting. -
That camera is mostly aimed at the vlogging crows from what I've heard, haven't checked the specs myself. If you want better pics, buy a better camera. If you're serious into vlogging (or considering getting into it), this may be worth it. If I were you, I'd wait until you're sure you're going to twitch (that's a verb right?),and make due with something else as a webcam in the meantime.

I'm a fan of cheese and tomato. Alright, Bob to the rescue. I posted this question on another forum which initally got me mostly sarcastic and/or confused reactions, as even within photography it seems to be a niche subject. Was wondering if I'd get sarcastic comments over here, but didn't get one until now. I was counting on you @bob! A beanbag (or ricebag as we call 'm over here) can be used to stabilize your camera instead ofg a tripod. One of the more exotic suggestions I got was kinetic sand, so I bought some and i'll try that out later.

@darksnowman, if you're still up, let me know if you want to visit Celeste. -
Heads-up, it's meteor shower season again. Tomorrow night is the best night to view them apparently. I was cycling in the dark an hour ago, and I think I saw one from the corner of my eye. Also saw some satellite. It wasn't the ISS, I've checked just now and the ISS pass over earlier in the evening.

Well yeah, that can happen when you rely on shadowdrop.. They caught me off guard. I simply won't be able to play the game properly right now. I've been playing less in general these days. Regardless, this game is on my must-buy list.

Well, then forget what I said, though personally I'd save my money.
