Seems that Sony could finally have a game which actually lives to it's name, well that's according to various comments i've read saying the PS4 has no games.
-
Well, that escalated quickly (regarding the latest episode).
-
Probably to give time for the sales for the Arkham remasters to get a few sales under the belt as it were (possibly if it's true they are getting a remaster). I'm happy for the delay, it's only a few weeks and gives more time for Witcher 3 playtime.

I'm in this week

Sounds decent enough for a release date.

I do love the replay feature, certainly makes for better snapshots. Had a few races, did have a shot at a few challenges sent over. Didn't do too well, but hey ho.

Started up last weekend, and finished it this weekend Valient Hearts. What a nice little game, very charming. I enjoyed it, and if it wasn't for PS+ i probably would never have thought to play a game like this.

I do love the replay feature, probably wouldn't have been able to get this shot if it wasn't there.

I think it's because you are buying something, but Nintendo haven't yet figured the difference between a digital and physical order.

It's a little 50/50 with me. I'm happy with some of the remasters/re-releases of some games like The Last of Us and Sleeping Dogs. These were two games that i missed out on, either because i didn't own the console (The Last of Us) or just missed in the last generation (Sleeping Dogs). Games like Tomb Raider and GTA V (which are two other last gen games i re-bought for PS4). I'm happy they re-released them, but both didn't exactly need to be redone as i've played them before and i can still play them via the 360. But it benefited both companies, as they've made a lot of money on sales on these games on this generation of consoles. Nintendo however, i believe are doing the remasters correctly. They re did Majora's Mask with new stuff for the 3DS, basically rebuilding from the ground up. To be fair, they needed to do that seeing as it needed the expansion pak to make it work. Wind Waker HD, looks stunning and i much prefer it on the WiiU over the Gamecube. Mainly with it's extra features they added. Now, if they re did Mario Galaxy and released it again, i probably wouldn't get it right away as i played it late last year.

Finally managing to join in after a few weeks, nice to play. Great races.

Finally getting the US treatment. Bought Fusion and Adventure of Link, and i'm done. Thank's Nintendo for the final send-off.

Is Nintendo-Only gaming Damaging Your Hobby
Jimbob replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
In the reverse sense, just owning a Playstation or Xbox would have the same effect as owning just a Nintendo console, i'd miss out on many of the big games. With Nintendo, that would be the likes of Zelda, Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Metroid and Super Mario games. Nintendo make quality games with little game breaking glitches (i'm looking at the likes of Ubisoft, EA etc whom in recent months have made glitch-fest games like Battlefield and Unity). Mainly because they don't rush the games out, if other companies followed suit then maybe we'd have better quality (and polished) games. I believe the likes of IGN (or something) did a fps check on Captain Toad, it held steady at 60fps throughout. That's probably why (i believe) some of the indie titles on other consoles are better than the big budget games (in some ways). -
Registered my interest.

Not tried the replay feature yet, but sounds like it's a great addition. Especially with photo mode, which i've never been able to get a perfect photo.

I'm in, as long as i catch my connection home.

Is Nintendo-Only gaming Damaging Your Hobby
Jimbob replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I've always been a Nintendo gamer for as long as i can remember. I've owned a NES, N64, Gamecube, Wii and WiiU in the home console market, and i've owned a Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Advance, DS and 3DS in terms of the handheld market. Generally, Nintendo have kept my appetite for gaming going pretty healthily over the years. I've played some fantastic games, and have great memories. However, it was around the time of the Wii that i ventured into unknown territory with a purchase of an Xbox 360. The Wii itself, a great machine. But it was the motion controls that started to put me off Nintendo, which so happened to help Nintendo sell Wii's by the bucket load. Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed playing on the Wii. But this was (at the time) the first Nintendo console since i was younger, where i didn't really buy any games for it. I did play both the Galaxy games, Smash and Mario Kart. But that was about it, i mainly used the Wii to play Gamecube and Virtual Console titles when i went on it. I felt that there were a few gems out there for the Wii, but after going through the Gamecube era with many games being cancelled and the Wii having a lot of party-based games, i didn't want to go through that again. Hence a 360 purchase to fill that void, which i don't regret one bit. And now, looking back at it. I don't regret buying a 360 to fill in that gaming void i felt i was having. Played so many games, i can't list them all. It also helped me decide on combo'ng a One/PS4 with a WiiU. Again, something i don't regret doing. As well as playing all the great Nintendo games, i can also play the likes of Witcher 3, Arkham Knight and many Indie-based titles which i could/would have missed out on. -
As long as they annouce the console first and what it can do BEFORE showing off the controller (which i hope won't be another gimmick-based one) then i'll be happy enough.

Xpert 11 Season 34 - The Times They Are a-Changin'
Jimbob replied to dan-likes-trees's topic in General Chit Chat
Change report was a bit meh this season, not many visable changes at all. I'd like to enter the cup though as always though. -
Was not expecting Arnie to be there, didn't know he was a fan of F1. Still always nice to see him around, more so conducting the post-race interviews. Here's hoping Manor actually get the cars to start for Malaysia in 2 weeks time, maybe on the grid as well. All them retirements, felt sorry for Lotus losing both drivers in that space of time. Short outing, but hey ho. If what i was hearing is correct, if McLaren can buckle down reliability and get that car to full speed, boy they could challenge Mercedes this year. Same as Ferrari really. Bit of a meh race, but it does seem that way for the 1st race of the season. Bring on Malaysia in 2 weeks.

It's not overly important for me to complete games 100%, i did quite a few on the X360 and have done on various other games over the years. But these days, it doesn't bother me to not get everything. With trophies/achievements, if i complete the game and have a few left to get, then i go for it. Otherwise i don't tend to, and it doesn't bother me for not going that extra.
-
Was kind of hoping Manor would have pulled in Chilton as a driver, guess not. Still, some impressive line-up none the less. Nice to see 20 drivers on the grid this season. Because Alonso won't be racing in Australia, it's a repeat of the 2013/14 season with Kevin Magnussen sitting in with Jenson Button. Should be an interesting season, i can see Ricciardo being a formidable force this season.

I'm out, missed my connection home by seconds. Sorry about that.
